41 Saints Days of Occupation and The Fall of Tetsugawa
The fall of Tetsugawa was swift and sudden with the Mori enacting their vengeance upon the samurai who toyed with them in Luciensburg. With the village destroyed, the Giant Boar obliterated and the lumbering Ugokoyama Castle abandoning the Heartlands, the Oyashimans set off for the south and crossed the shallow end of the continental strait seeking refuge. In reflection of the last forty one months of occupation under Adria and the fall to the Mori, Samurai Kato Oijin releases a series of haikus.
And with the destruction of Tetsugawa comes the end of the Adrian occupation after forty and one months.
The War
Two white warlords fight
Oyashimans will banzai
The Pact is fulfilled
The war machine starts
Outsource Labor to the orcs
Oyashi Hold Fort
Bodies strewn across
Tetsugawan Rice Paddies
Crows need not hunt mice
Owyn guide our swords
Victory he leads us towards
A Farfolk Home saved
Up against the wall
Shouts echo inside my head,
Blob blob blob blob blob
The Occupation
Men lined up and killed
Women and Children loaded
On trains heading north
The new governor
Needs to be hanged with the rope
And wife set ablaze
I wanted answers
I tried to look for Charlie
He never writes back
So many lives lost
Across the Iron River
**** Charlie-Dono
Haenseman was killed by
Anonymous Uniforms
Who cleaned up after
The Fall
Guilt over Darasu’s Death
Last thing I call him was bum,
Wish I was kinder
I miss my clan home,
My Barclay Bosom Buddies
And my fishing spot
Mori push us out
Tetsugawa the dream lost
It’s still **** Charlie-Dono
Of Oyashi Bones
With gold encrusted black teeth
And verdant green robes
By my pettiness
I continue to endure
Passed unemployed friends
