Player monks have never revived people, it's always been the imaginary ones. I've even asked monks icly about that before and they always said things likes "oh that's the other monks" or "I'm not one of those" so... Meanwhile this sounds like an interesting idea however my main issue is with it being the AT. This team is already busy looking over apps, answering questions in WS or Help areas, trying to be nice with new players, etc. Now sitting around in the temple acting like an NPC too? Rip their free time. I understand that players who'll help out newbies are obviously wanted but I'm sure normal players could volunteer for that too and if you catch someone not doing the job right boot them from it. It also seems like a bit of a slap in the face to the old monks. Sorry if you wanted to try this new type of monk or change your old monk to one of them! Staff only. I don't believe they should be staff only, that's ridiculous! I agree with all of this^

Thats lore team territory, I'd assume it be literal NPC's. The purpose of these monks are to log on and help new players integrate themselves into the community without any mishaps! So they're NPCs... us as players can't play them?
