The man shed a few tears tucking the letter into his coat pocket as he paced, remembering their conversations long since passed, and her desire for peace.

  13. The Duke of Azor hummed as he read the letter and the plight of the clinic that housed and treated so many. A letter would be sent! "Baroness Saint Lothar, I find within my coffers the ability to so readily help a place which has brought so much good to the people of the capital, and to those of Providence before, to work in the clinic is a noble profession and not one that should be subjected to such barbarous crimes. You will find enclosed a notation for the full 250 marks. God Bless." -Joseph d'Azor
  14. The Duke of Azor smiled brightly as he viewed his granddaughters war efforts, a tinge of pride warming the mans heart. "Oh my little darling! What a wondrous field commander you will make!" @Cepheid Leopold Edwin frowned lightly showing the missive to his best friend. "My cousins a bit of a ****." @cherrybud
  15. Joseph d'Azor frowned pursing his lips "So long Boss...so long..."
  16. The Duke of Azor frowns as he reads of the missive, having already been warned of the beast of Vienne and almost mistaking a few of his visitors for the pyromaniac man. Sliding a bolt into his crossbow as he took a swig from his whiskey. "Let's see this fucker try something on the frontier..."
  17. Joseph d'Azor frowns at the loss of such a great scholar.
  18. The Duke of Azor read from the missive at a large wooden desk within his home, the halls were quiet around him as he read of the Kings passing. An enemy, one he had done his best to study, the one his father and the Emperors of yore had told him to be wary of. "One day a King of Haense will try it young Joseph, you must be ready, you all must be...." The words of John VIII once spoken to Joseph d'Azor run through his ears as clear as day. "The Haeseni lack in numbers what they make up for in nationalistic zeal, their king is their ultimate icon, all would die for him." The Count of Susa's advice also came rearing back. And yet when the war came it was not so black and white as what was originally printed to the Duke when he was but a boy, every coin has its side, and at least from the stories Joseph had heard, the tales spoken and reports read, King Sigismund had many. A king of firm repute. Joseph d'Azor let out a long sigh as he folded the missive "And so falls another, and yet no joy is brought, only sadness at life lost..." The former Archchancellor considered it all for a moment as he endeavored to pour out a drink for late king that night. Joseph stood at that coughing raggedly into his handkerchief a bit of red, quickly tucking that away as he continued to pace in his exile.

  21. Sir Henry Marshall a staunch Knight of the Empire held out a ripe yellow banana cracking it open for the orc as he entered the seven skies.
  22. The Duke of Azor read over the news with a pause, a sigh emitted as he set the parchment down stepping to the edge of the tower as he looked off into the sunset considering for several long moments his friendship with the woman who had been through so much in her life. "She deserved a quiet life far far before this..." The man remarked to himself closing his eyes for a few moments as he retreated back into the halls of his exile, another friend lost, so many lost in recent years. Would he be the last? Did it Even matter if he was? Thoughts ran through Josephs mind as he unscrewed the top of his flask taking a long swig, consuming the liquid within easily he poured a second flask out for her.
