This entire OOC Anti-Oren obsession that has existed since Alty became Emperor in late 2019 is turning this server in a completely toxic place. How many times any of you have witnessed Anti-Oren messages in OOC channels within the server? Because it has been constant during all this time. What has the Admin Team done to address this issue? Nothing, and now we see the consequences of this negligence: more toxicity and more OOC, which is a very bad impression for a new player (see JoshBright's post).
Also, and I hope that what happened recently made us all learn this, which is that I think that it has been completely proven that forcing your character to act in a certain manner for the mere fact that it benefits you more oocly (e.g.: to assume the leadership of a nation) is something that is completely bad for the community as it just generates more OOC and toxicity.

See, I typically agree that it's a bit lame to be super Anti-Oren no matter what, but the current RP decisions of the Empire are very intentionally antagonistic and radical for the sake of providing conflict and spice things up in the Orenian community (Correct me if I'm wrong). To then have a coalition form and be upset at that, is a bit ridiculous. Reap what you sow, play the villain then accept opposition with grace.
Thankfully, Nectorist is graceful in that manner, and has not at all been cowering or rule lawyering. He has been BASED.

You know what makes me uncomfortable? When people say things like "Nectorist deserves _____" or "Nectorist is a villain."
Can we try and make it a habit to use character names when talking like that?-
that's why I always set my username before my RP name in discord chats, because it's important to make the distinction. Problem is there's like 3 phillips being talked about here so it's confusing af haha
but like if you make a joke enough times you start to believe it, which is why i agree it's not ideal to refer to nectorist as an evil warmonger but phillip iii, the emperor, whatever as the evil warmonger.
I would like to say that the whole letter thing has far less impact on war than you'd think @Eryane. it's being referenced now only because it'd be poor RP to ignore it, and like most people aren't aware of any OOC beef regarding it going on in first place.

Anyone know a major nation or city that is popular, can give land to those who pay, is ok with humans, and is ok with any good religion. Religion meaning if there is a new religion that is good natured but it isn't the cities major religion if it has one, it won't be under religious persecution.
