    what’s the difference between being locked in CRP and being locked in PVP when people just kite eachother for 2 hours run away and then come back and hit you once

      @argoniantheyll just sit outside of your city gates and harass anyone who tries to come inside to roleplay with some poor banditry emotes.

       

      I like to pvp. I just find it funny that everyone is whining about being locked into roleplay — on a roleplay server.

      that counts as a raid and raids have timers which stop this from happening. they could also harass ppl on the roads w crp too so i'm not sure how that's diff

       

      and pvp is just as valid a form of playing a role as emoting. roleplay =/= writing

    i'm unsure what kind of gate or gate policies you're referring to. we regularly have people just come to the grove, ask for a teacher, and begin their path on druidism through a dedicancy. and this doesn't always take six months either. from personal experience i've had a student do it in a month. sure, sometimes it may take longer, but if all someone is coming to the community for is the magic at the end, they should probably look elsewhere. the druids pride themselves on rich culture, rituals, creeds, the list goes on.

    i've had fun so far this map, participated in some pretty engaging events that gave my character lots of development. definitely not the best map by any means, but LOTC is what you make of it and I'm definitely still enjoying myself (:

    Is there any in game warning for the persona swapping bug? What if a player is not in the LOTC discord? How do we expect them to know?

      It has nothing to do with swapping. If your inventory is gone, it's already gone. Llir and Voop are working on a fix

      Oh. That’s good. Is there any notice in game for players not in any discords, though? I don’t feel like you should have to be in a discord to receive important announcements like this
