@Fireheart What is the point of these new rules? Why can’t a PRO control the roads of his own territory? Why cannot he alter them as he sees fit?
White Rose checkpoint and the Dour Watch keep come to mind as historic road checkpoints that added to RP. Instead, you’re removing nation autonomy in favor of RP breaking, invincible and unmalleable roads.

Hey guys, I’ve been waking up recently to 40+ discord messages. If it’s something serious shoot me a forum message and I can look into it further since these messages I don’t just click on, read, and the notification disappears. If it’s something relatively minor and quick shoot me a discord message and I’ll respond promptly. I have the memory of a squirrel so this will help make sure I respond to you. If I don’t respond after a couple of days just harass me and send me a ton of message everywhere.

NEXUS HAD A GREAT ECONOMY SYSTEM BRING BACK NEXUS

I experienced this Nexus system for longer than you have.
Dude this man has seen some ****, you just don't understand Dan
But do not worry, for Horton the actually GODLY is here.
Spoiler>Compares LotC players to African kids
>Gives example of the bad of nexus
>Refuses to note the good of nexus
>Refuses to try the good of nexus
>Refuses to acknowledge nexus was horribly easy to do
>Uses experience on the server as reason for why he is right
>Isn't jaded (Making the above irrelevant)
>Likely hasn't ever tried to be creative with nexus
>Has never heard of how an actual economy works
Basically I'm saying that there are a ton of possibilities with nexus, you merely hid behind the excuse that there isn't a way that RP and nexus can coexist. It's along the same lines of RP and PVP, you don't really understand how it can be done because you've never seen it be done. You're scared of something new and can't easily adapt to it. Nexus did have its drawbacks of being super grindy but that's on the players that grinded, that doesn't effect you. That effects those hardcore sweatballs.
"B-b-but Horton they ruined the economy!!" Lol no, look at Norland. Norland is using marks, a separate currency from mina to get around the issues of others ruining the economy. You can still run an internal economy and nexus gave the benefit of allowing players easier ways to do that. It's simply that most didn't realize what it could do because they were too focused on what it did to LotC's playerbase.
Though what it did to LotC's playerbase was nothing, the community ruined themselves by themselves. They took nexus as a way to be super OP man but really that isn't what roleplay should be about. It should be about being someone you can't normally be in real life; and no, I don't mean an OP magicman I mean things as simple as peasants trying to climb the food chain. The server doesn't have a huge goal and ways to make that goal a challenge, you've got to make that yourself.

Hey Knox, I'm just wondering, whats the time limit I have to wait to make another application?
-
Ye another thing is I suggest not pinging the admins, ping application team (a staff team that accepts/denies people) for that kind of question.
A couple application team members are @sophiaa @Keefy and @ZachoSnacko

@SpyDamian, application to what? The server? You don't have a time limit so you can reapply right now. Same with any application really.

People who enjoyed nexus need to be lined up against a wall and shot.

Napoleon once said "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake." This resonates with me because Aemich pales in comparison to Fimlin, the best Grandaxe.

I do agree, though, that there should be a small bit of the country's tax funds to go to the homeless and overall poorer community. With that you can at least give them the chance to get off their feet. I never said that small bits shouldn't be communism, I'm saying that overall as a government, communism's flaws outweigh the pluses.
Honestly there is nothing wrong with social services, unless they pay the homeless more then they need to get off their feet. If that's the case then it just inspires laziness.

The problem is that overall communism requires too much trust on either one person, or too many people in general. It requires everyone to do their fair share without a proper incentive such as, "I have to do this to live," and if you bring up some other form of communism overall it would be completely inefficient. For if you were to get payed for doing that job, but everybody else gets payed for the same thing, then you feel your work is not worthwhile. Especially if the amount of time you spent to achieve that job is quite extensive. Basically it doesn't inspire progression at all.
Meanwhile most other types of government do indeed inspire progression and work ethic. Not only that but they allow for higher-class jobs because of the difference in wages.
