  1. Faebella Reinold Stay Alert. Published by the High Council of Jun Lei On the Year of The Ratiki, 186 SA Faebella Reinold has been abducted by what we presume to be an Inferi. Active efforts are being made to recover her and we urge everyone of Jun Lei to be cautious, alert, and remain safe. ───────────────────── ꕤ ──────────────────── DISAPPEARANCE One of our own has been captured, with such events transpiring in the dark forest, effectively an attack on our beloved village people. Faebella was transporting goods from Lurin to Jun Lei when her cart was set ablaze, and she thus disappeared from the dark forest. BE WARNED The flames which erupted from the cart were purple, leading the council to believe this was the work of darkspawn or some other unholy abomination. A trail of blood was spotted near the scene, leading investigators to believe she was not outright killed. If not the work of Inferi it is surely the work of someone deranged and violent. A REQUEST We urge those willing to help to join us in Jun Lei for the search of the missing woman. Alchemists, mages, soldiers, medics, anyone is needed. [!] A painting of Faebella Reinold. The High Council is making active efforts to track down and find Faebella along with her captures. They will not go unpunished and we will not rest until we find her. We ask everyone of Jun Lei to stay alert for any suspicious figures or clues leading to her location. We will be sending out search parties and whatever else we can do. But we cannot be hasty, we do not know her state. Do not go rushing into danger without fully understanding the situation and permission from an Elder. Be safe. ───────────────────── ꕤ ──────────────────── This is not the first missive I wanted to make for Jun Lei and it is a terrible tragedy that this has occurred. I deeply apologise to my people for the anguish this situation may have put them through. We will find Faebella and punish those who have caused her harm. I will not rest easy until I know she is well. - Mochou ───────────────────── ꕤ ──────────────────── Signed, Her Ladyship, Mochou Shoya and High Elder of Jun Lei
  2. The Village On Lake Bai Gu Established On the Year of The Ratiki, 186 S.A. ───────────────────── ꕤ ───────────────────── STRUCTURES MISSION Upon arriving in Aevos, Lady Mochou found herself alone, with no other Li-Ren on the continent. Due to the prevalent racism in Sakuragakure, she initially disguised herself as an Oyashimen. After the fall of Nor’asath, Koyo-Kuni was established, bringing together all Eastern cultures under one nation. When the Shugo declared that each culture could establish its own settlements within the nation, Lady Mochou presented her vision. Just thirty years after setting foot on the continent, she completed the reformation of the Li-Ren people. Year 186 of the Second Age, The Village of Jùn Lèi was completed. CULTURE Li-Ren culture is rooted in the ideals of Order and Respect, with a deep focus on familial relationships. Every individual contributes to the community's prosperity, with young people honoring their elders and elders caring for the youth as if they were their own children. This sense of familial duty extends to all Li-Ren, fostering a strong sense of unity. The social structure in Li-Guo stands out among the Cathant subraces. Although there is a strong emphasis on respecting elders and those in higher positions, moving up the social ladder is significantly more feasible compared to other Cathant ethnic groups, such as Oyashima. GOVERNMENT The Village of Jùn Lèi works on a council system, each councilor overseeing a different part of the village. It is the duty of the High Elder to keep the council in order and make final judgment based on the meetings conducted. The Council is as follows: The High Elder (Head of Council) The Lord Situ (Chancellor) The Lord General (Head of Defense) The Minister of Shi (Head of Diplomacy) The Minister of Stewardry (Head of Housing) The Lady Beauty (Head of the Courts) Jùn Lèi’s defense relies entirely on the guild, Valiant Seekers, which takes prime residence within the village’s temple. The Second line of defense would be the force from Koyo-Kuni’s capital, Sakuragakure. ───────────────────── ꕤ ───────────────────── Please pen a letter to any of the above if you wish to visit the village for job or housing purposes!
  3. Shoya Mochou gives the missive a warm smile. "I chose the right nation to live under, may Pingheng live the rest of her life peacefully." She sipped her cup of tea.
  4. Charlotte snorted with laughter. "And they disowned mea a decade after I married out! What a bunch of pathetic good for nothings." The ex-Ruthern cackled. "Karma Dem, Karma. Y hope he loses everything, that'd be greatly amusing. Stassion was always better than you, dear borsa." She murmured to herself.
  5. "Shit." Shoya Mochou hissed, the missive creasing beneath her grip upon the paper. She was within her home of Lurin, taking care of one of her dear friends. "Forgive me Shugo, but I cannot leave until they can care for themselves." The woman muttered, careful to not let said friend hear..
  6. Mochou sipped some tea as she read about her friends being exposed as darkspawn. Oh how amused was she!
  7. The missive was straightened out, the masked woman letting out a light laugh of amusement. "So, the Vicar has fallen, seems I need to find a new avenue to walk down." The Oni hummed out, a smile behind that masked visage. She crumpled the missive into a ball before tossing it into a nearby fire. "We have work ahead of us, my dear."
  8. The Oni, a dear ally to the one named Handil, let out a cackle upon the reading of his name. Truly, did she find this amusing. “Oh you poor soul.. your actions have at last caught up to you..” She cooed to no one in particular, for she was alone.
  9. Plutoes.. I think its time to come to terms with it.. the rest of us have.. don't worry, we accept you for who you are. Toes included :)
  10. The Oni, a high ranking figure within The Vicar’s forces, sat within her home drinking a nice glass of tea.“Yeah.. I’m not touching that.” The woman muttered, she had better things to do than attend some silly battle.
  11. The Oni remembered this day vividly, a cracked smile growing upon their features. “What a busy day that was.. I’ll always remember it for it was the day I got you back.” They spoke to their comatose friend that lay dormant in the bed, setting the missive aside to feed them more rice water.
  12. Mochou read the missive inside a blacked out home, the rooms filled with the stench of sick. She smiled, happy her group finally had a place of residence.
  13. The renowned Charlotte ‘Barrow’ lifted a brow at the missive and quickly signed the Lorraine. “Goodbye papej, mamej.” She murmured, staring at the paper a few moments longer. “Barrow? Vy have disowned Y but Y had married out years prior. Vyr just selfish and bitter that Y left vyr cruel family. And Y do niet even get to attend their funeral..” The aging woman shook her head. “Niet like it matters. Y do niet remember them anyways.” Charlotte read the missive in front of her daughter Helena, though didn’t seem to even register her being there. For once, her pain and sorrow of the early onset dementia finally sunk in. “Y wish Y did remember vy..”
  14. Princess Charlotte merely stared at the sky in the aftermath of the battle, wondering where her life has led her and if it was all worth it.
  15. It was true that Mochou was growing irritated with the war. “The humans and orcs can have their war, but can they leave us out of it?! Can’t go anywhere anymore without getting confronted by bandits.” She tsked, irritated by the whole ordeal. “They need to finish this, I’m losing patience.” Soon, was the missive added to her campfire as fuel with the company of nothing but her voice and the crackle of the flames.
  16. An elfess from near and far read the missive, intrigued by the humans and their politics.
  17. Mochou observed the war from afar, only approaching to get a closer look. Humans were amusing to her and the orcs only proved that further.
  18. Mochou walked throughout forests, visiting the near and far villages and kingdoms. With a parasol to block out the light, she smiled towards a missive pinned on a nearby board.
  19. Princess Charlotte Stassion, even with her lack of memory, couldn’t get this song out of her head!
  20. Julietta read the letter within her lab, grimacing before crumpling it up and tossing it into the trash. She didn’t feel sorry for the father that abandoned her, faked his death. Only bitter resentment.

  23. Penned by The Majordomo C. 1955 INTRODUCTION Wardship, a venerable institution that has withstood the test of time, has played a crucial role for centuries in imparting not only formal education but also invaluable life lessons to individuals in their formative years. This time-honoured practice serves a dual purpose, benefiting both the mentor assuming the role and the ward placed under their guidance. The essence of Wardship transcends mere academic instruction, extending into the realms of mentorship and personal development. Through this age-old tradition, experienced individuals take on the responsibility of guiding and shaping the lives of those younger and less experienced. This mentor-mentee relationship is founded on the principles of knowledge transfer, character building, and fostering a sense of responsibility. EXPECTATIONS In the tradition of wardship, wards bear significant expectations, emphasising their need to be proactive and supportive. The success of the mentor-ward relationship relies on the ward's commitment to embody their mentor's virtues. This symbiotic relationship underscores the ward's role in upholding their mentor's principles. Wards actively engage in learning practical skills associated with their role, ensuring a comprehensive understanding. It is incumbent upon wards to ensure their mentorship journey doesn't burden mentors. They must seek guidance, complete tasks diligently, and show eagerness to learn, reinforcing mutual respect. This reciprocal dynamic contributes to the mentor's satisfaction, fostering a positive mentorship atmosphere. In essence, wardship demands active engagement and commitment from both parties, with wards playing a pivotal role in sustaining this venerable tradition. TYPES OF WARDS The term "ward" encompasses a diverse array of roles, constituting an umbrella term that spans various ways individuals can serve under someone. Examples include Ladies-In-Waiting, Maids of Honor, Assistants to Council Members, and more. Maids of Honor serve the Queen, while Ladies-In-Waiting serve the other lady royals. Despite the distinct nature of each role, common expectations persist across all wards. Whether one is in a traditional or administrative capacity, the fundamental principles of being proactive, supportive, and embodying the virtues of their mentor remain consistent. The universality of these expectations underscores the overarching commitment required from individuals serving in any wardship role, emphasising the enduring and versatile nature of the concept.
