Thales: Racial Bonuses

This is why I liked vanilla minecraft battles. Fair and square unless some bullshite trap is set up

So much this. Why not remove PVP buffs entirely?

If your race is so reliant on pvp buffs then the humans are in sad shape. You guys are still unstoppable in most raids, and especially in warclaims when everyone and their mother come to pvp. I also highly doubt humans would change races because they didn't get a pvp racial buff, that would greatly imply that they only play humans for pvp, which they don't.

It's easy to say that from your position but I guarantee if it were happening to your race you'd be saying the same thing.

Cruz, it did happen to our race. Orcs had a very low population and humans had a huge population.

I think debuffs should be removed like I said earlier and Navin had said. It wouldn't make sense for someone who learned how to do something over time to still have a debuff for that skill. So in my opinion debuffs for skills should be removed and just keep general buffs that are accepted by all to be allowed. Also is quoting messed up in the forums? Tried doing it for what someone said here but wasn't working.

Wait, are we discussing sitting hunchbacked for three hours in a video game raid? Oh wait, I mistook this for World of Warcraft.

I would like to ask that the Patriotism buff be extended to damage against players, companionship extends to fighting anything one would imagine.

Likewise, I know this is slightly off-topic but has the Leatherworking non-level bug been fixed?

Profession: Farmer (+30%), Chef (+30%)

+30% Fisher

+20% Lumberjack

What's the difference between the first +30 and the bottom +30?

Q: What do you mean by profession?

A: A race's profession can be leveled to maximum tier

Profession: Stonemason (+30%)
+20% Blacksmith
+20% Lumberjack
+20% Leatherworker
+ Adrenaline Rush: Active Temporary Speed Boost

What? Since when were Darkies good at smithing and stone masonry?

They live in caves, or at least the majority, and use stone supports to keep up artificial underground structures. This makes stoneworking a staple of any dark elven economy.

These all look pretty balanced. Halflings got buffs to farming and fishing, which is enjoyed, thanks.

Also, looking at some things, like Ologs and their extra health, it'll be nice to see how armies and fighting takes place, and how battles are balanced

I've had to live with the fact that not everyone wants to RP a big green beast and that pvp default defines RP. This means that even though an Olog could quite literally 1 shot a human in RP, 3 humans could still take out 5 ologs. Whether we have a pvp buff or not, I'd still play.. Because I have been playing without a pvp buff for the longest time. There will never be a 50 orc vs 50 human battle. We'll always be outnumbered, and you'll always have numbers. The races differ in strengths, the human strength is numbers not that they hit harder when there are 50 of them beside eachother.

If I would complain about anything, it would be that elves have no drawbacks! =P

Dwarves are slow, Orcs have hunger and only a bit of extra damage when they have little health, and humans are the norm. Elves have no drawbacks =P

One more thing I should add for dwarves.

Dwarves get magic resistance, but the draw back is that they cannot use magic, unless they're Ironguts.

You're all forgetting that humans are not suppose to be the "masters" of combat or the masters of anything. Humans are simply a race who are evenly balanced with every concept, but not being able to master combat like Orcs, or magic like Elves.

Never really heard the Lore reasoning for why it's like that, but yeah they're generally considered to have a small resistance to magic.
