There should really be an overhaul of the underlying issues not another system to create contention and the possiblity of it bieng used as a threat and potential dampener of RP... also the very idea these 'bad eggs' could be in the Antag rasies certain questions especailly if the reason these people are on the blacklist is becuase they are not giving other players fun villany RP, how are they be expected to be in the antag which primary aim is to create fun RP and events...

Blacklisting Rules

 

Blacklisted players cannot:

• Engage in banditry, burglary or theft
  • I.E. Don’t steal, whether from other players or from chests
• Partake in torture
• Commit murder; exceptions include:
  • Self-defense, but only if murder is the only way of defending yourself
  • Execution, IF it is the punishment for a breaking a justified law within a specified settlement AND the settlement’s leaders call for it (each individual case must be approved)
• Be involved with cults*
  • *Cults are defined as groups that partake in illegal activities to suit their own goals, which can range from murder and torture to involvement with the antag(s)
  • “Involvement” includes cult organization, membership, or association
• Be involved in the antagonist
  • This includes being an antagonist as well as being associated with the antagonist
• Be involved in raids
  • This involves organization of raids as well as actually partaking in them

Note: Unless an exception is explicitly stated, all reasons for doing one of the above actions are disallowed, even if those reasons appear seemingly logical and/or reasonable.

 

 

 

How are you going to stop them from engaging in large pvp events? They might just slip in with their friends who will not report them ( because they would much rather have more numbers) and since mc names are not shown on top of people. So it will not be an easy thing to monitor. 

 

I find it hard to believe that people who are put onto this list are people who would keep from doing these actions anyways, even if they are put onto this list.

This exact system worked perfectly on RS rp, though it tended to cause notorious new players and bad rpers to be shunned from RP groups because they were poor initially. Hopefully the community wont do that. Also it was in an RP DEFAULT environment.

Also I heard Lima the Sheckler wrote it for you, basing the ideas and principles off of a notorious wannabe German.

Naaa a compromise was made when I helped Menara submit the doc, they came to a vilany blacklist.

They may however after this make VA's to result in raid passes.

So it's a good idea in concept but I don't doubt people will just get alt accounts and do banditry on that while they wait for the blacklist on their main persona to end.

Not throwing out any ideas for them, but the only way this will work is if it's either Pure RP default like it used to be, or people having to make Raid VAs.

I know this from experience on RS rp. It was player enforced aswell, not staff. Lets hope they can keep up with this notion.
