Ramza frowns to this news. "He was such a great man... different from the rest... I do hope the Creator has good plans for him... he will always be remembered... no person deserves this..." he sighs as he continues to clean his tavern. "Time to start boarding the house...." he finishes, making his way home to prepare.

News of the king's death and the ensuing chaos spreading throughout elven lands eventually reaches the quiet shade of the grove where Elorna meditates in peace. Her brow furrows as she looks around the grove silently, thinking on the events that led to her moving her family out of Cerulin. "The Aspects work in mysterious ways..." she murmurs, giving silent thanks to her gods for the seeming misfortune that led her to a safer haven.

Meanwhile Gabrielle sheds her elven-style clothes in favor of her older, Orenian dresses. "Back t' bein' a 'valah'ker'," she hums to herself with a chuckle.

*Grim'aeldus flees the Great Library as it is consumed in bright flames, several large sacks are thrown over his shoulder bearing a myriad of geometric shapes pressing out against the fabric. He moves out and around to the front of his home were a few more sacks are strewn about the lawn.

"If all else is consumed in fire, these books shall not be among them."

*Grim quickly moves the many books rescued from the fire into his basement before coming up top once more. He runs through the city and see's a massive force attempting to penetrate the front gates to the city. With time running out, Grim'aeldus Uradir finds as many High Elven brothers and sisters as possible and ushers them safely out of the city before the hordes of disgruntled Humans bear down upon the sacred grounds and defile its greatness with their ignorance and grief.

"Kaean'leh thilln chul'okarae."

*He locks his doors shut, barricades the the entry way and awaits the legion of destruction that he can hear tearing through his beloved city.
