Arteh 1837 Share Posted July 11, 2015 The Rex lays in his bed, a cool wind blows through the excruciating desert heat. Two Kheshig stand guard firmly, and dutiful, outside the room of the Rex. Vrogak'Gorkil, a tall, powerful and proud figure, now sickly and ill. Laying in his bed, envisioning the spirits calling upon him, beside him stands Targoth Phaedrus'Yar, Wargoth Malog'Yar and Wargoth Shreck'Lak. All dear and close friends of Vrogak'Gorkil. The Rex's Iron Crown sits upon a table as a grunt in pain is heard throughout the chamber. Sweating profusely, with his skin turning slightly paler by the hour, Vrogak'Gorkil was dying. Behind the Wargoths and the Targoth stood a young cub, unaware of what was happening, grips firmly at the knee of Malog'Yar. This cub was Vrogash'Gorkil, son of Vrogak'Gorkil. The Rex's slaves beated the drums slightly as the Rex indicated to Phaedrus to bring his Cub closer. Vrogash'Gorkil, quietly stepped forward, looking at his Father in such a position for the first time in his life. Vrogak'Gorkil looked at his son for a brief moment, examining him with an attentive gaze for the last time. Vrogak'Gorkil moved his arm feably and grabbed the cub by the back of the head, pulling him closer to tell him something in his last moments. "Prutekt da Irun Uzg" The barely understandable words were muttered through the mouth of the dying Rex. The Cub looked at his father slightly, his eyes showing slight emotions, he looked up to Phaedrus'Yar who was staring at Vrogak'Gorkil. The beating of drums slowly extinguished, as did the life that was left in Vrogak'Gorkil. The Iron Crown laid rested on the table, as the eyes of Vrogak'Gorkil slowly shut. The Rex had passed away.

CosmicWhaleShark 2488 Share Posted July 11, 2015 Phaedrus releases a low sigh, looking around at those gathered for a few moments. He finally settles his gaze on Vrogash, simply giving him a quiet nod. Afterwards he turns around, moving to exit the chamber, and points toward one of the drumming slaves. "Bring me parchment." Catarrh 720 Share Posted July 11, 2015 Wargoth Malog'Yar lets out a heavy sigh through his nostrils, as he lights a bowl of various herbs and cactus green. After a minute or so, a strong-smelling smoke of dull, greyish-green rises from the bowl. He lowers the bowl over the corpse of the great Iron Rex, and begins wafting the smoke down on him as he waves the bowl slowly over the body. All the while, he chants in the Old Blah in a slow, solemn, mournful tone, "Kor, frum vadokanob, udahok frum Vrogakob Botu-Mub. Vrogak, Rex-Jarn, rrau nadar ztarguzhu. Vrogak, Rex-Jarn, rrau Krugzha." Malog then sets the bowl near the feet of the body, and rests Vrogak's axe atop his still chest. He offers the young cub a firm nod, and begins plans for the Rex's burial.
bumblefina 2766 Share Posted July 11, 2015 Kiri'Gorkil stands against the wall of the chamber, watching as her life mate and Rex passes with a silent, woeful gaze. Her eyes rest on her son, then on the men around the bed. She is unneeded, unnecessary, and unwanted here any longer. She turns, taking a few silent steps from the room, heading out of the palace and through the massive gates of the city. She begins her trek out into the hot desert on foot, the Uzg fading from view behind her. [[ Kiri will now be inactive. ]]

Faunherer 44 Share Posted July 11, 2015 Bahadir kneels beside the pool of lava, pouring the jars of blood in one at a time in memory of his ancestors. He reaches the last bottle and uncorks it, staring into the blistering heat below. "You lived an honorable life here in the mortal realm. The ancestors will be blessed to have you among their ranks. Goodbye Vrogak'Gorkil, the Iron Rex." The blood from the jar drizzles down into the molten rock, sizzling as it makes contact. The metallic scent of iron pervades as the steam from the blood ascends into the night sky.

the 1 bow 1112 Share Posted July 12, 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IroaLAbltxg The Braduk clan leaves their city under construction, with their leader Kahn at their head. The entirety of the clan marches, not on their rhinos however, on foot. They do not carry their rhino banners, the Braduks hold the banners of the Iron Uzg high up in the air as they storm through the desert to Laz-Dur. They move to the foot of the steps to the Rex palace, where they see numerous Keshig still on guard, each with somber looks on their faces. Vrogak was a friend to the Braduk clan, and had been for generations. Kahn lamented over his death but did not break, for Iron was strong. and Kahn was of the Iron Uzg. Crowding the area, all the Braduks drew their weapons, and Kahn drew the large seven foot broad sword he had given Vrogak they day he swore loyalty to him. A goblin came, doused it in oil, then lit in on fire. Kahn stabbed the tremendous blade into the sand, before raising his fist, and chanting; "VROGAK! VROGAK! VROGAK!" The rest of the Braduk clan did aswell, before long, all the orcs in the area joined in, the sound of the Iron Rex's name carrying through the desert and splitting the sky. Vrogak'Gorkil, hero of the Warnation, father of the Iron Uzg, brother to all uruk-kind had passed on to Krug, but his legacy remained behind.
Malgonious 2758 Share Posted July 13, 2015 Malgunus'Raguk, sweat beading off his forehead from the illness he was enduring as well, looked out his blargh's window, towards the Capital. He knew of the events that had befallen his Rex.. a single tear left Malgunus' eye, closing them to hide the weakness away from his protectors guarding his room. He began a recollection of his time under the banners of Vrogak, all positive, all glorious, filled with pride and honor.
