Varuk Frostbeard

As he ran through the forest, various Dwarves ran by him as well. Suddenly they found themselves at an opening, and a large hill. As he looked up, he spotted a large group of Dwarven Loyalists, their hateful jeers angering him. Wiping some sweat from his chest, he charged up the hill, his blade swinging left and right.

"URAAAAA!"

The clash of steel echoes throughout the Dwarven Lands as Dwed fights Dwed, brother against brother, Frostbeard against Frostbeard. The last bugged him the most, but he threw the thought back as he pressed on. Suddenly he found himself facing a Dwedmar legend; Dwain Irongut and next to him, some Darkie. A rage that he had never known drove him forward as he lunged at the experienced Dwed.

"Arrgh!"

Varuk fell to the ground, as his eyes clouded with a mixture of rage and sadness. Dwain quickly left the dead body, as he moved on to continue battle elsewhere. For some time Varuk just lay there, blood pouring out of his cut body. As he thought about his life, he saw happiness and success and sadness, and many things. In the distance he heard his father cowardly fleeing into the ocean while Elven Warriors skipped after him! As Dwedmar bodies fell left and right, Varuk looked up at the bright sun and chuckled slightly to himself.

"Ha-Ha!"

A nearby Loyalist, hearing this chuckle, quickly ran over and plunged his blade into Varuk's head. Ending him and his line.

It's been a blast guys. It really has. Even though I have not always seen eye to eye with some of you, I still loved every moment of my time as Varuk Frostbeard. While some grains of salt may have been spilt near the end, I will always remember my time among the Dwarves fondly. I'd like to thank Kralek for bringing me into the Dwarves and giving me a Clan, and for the Dwarven Community that gladly accepted me and what I had to offer to it. I'd also like to thank all who where ever Frostbeards. Even though some of us split near the end, I think in the end, none of us really hated each other. We just had different ideas. Stay Frosty my friends!

Torick stands at the top of the hill, his greatsword Drengram pinned into the earth as he leaned on it, surveying the carnage.

"'o wan'ed t'is? Is teh crown re'l'eh wort' al' o' t'is..."

He says to himself, face tightening.

He looks across the bodies and notes all the members of his kin and slowly shakes his head. His eyes snap to many, but among them his eyes lay to rest on one for a longer period of time than most others.

"Varuk..."

He says under his breath while closing his eyes tightly and lowering his head.

"T'is neh beh w'ot weh wan'ed. T'is nay beh w'ot aneh Dwawf wants..."

He wanders across the bloodied battlefield, closing the eyes of his still kinsmen with a misty look in his eyes before taking Drengram in his hand and starting back for the city...

He takes one final look back at those fallen, and he gently whispers something under his breath.

"Narvak oz Azwyrtrumm... Brothahs..."
