Silent Snow Falls on a Moonlit Night

A singular shadow crawls over snowy mountain that raises their high peaks as monuments to solace;

and the winding stygian aura of malice that meanders down them as the Night descends upon the Elven forests

pauses for a moment, turning back to set its figurative gaze upon a silent Daughter of both Shadow and Frost.

"Come to me, Daughter - Your path is not lost."

And so Tek stepped forward, turning her broken gaze up to the sky and nodding.

She recalled her memories, starting with Embermoore's torturous prodding,

of let blood that rolled from sharpened blades,

of runs through the forests, hunts with Shades.

Tek paused for a moment upon the thought of Lorien, giving consideration to their once friendship,

and how she had left perhaps her first love malnourished and starving, she had chose kinship.

Tek had made her bed then when she embraced the frozen touch of family that brought down a slew of cravings: death and blood and meat.

Gabrielle was her first Mother, and her frosted embrace was both wholesome and sweet.

Tek thought of her love with Gwyn, and how her wife had been made to depart.

How that red-haired, firey woman had reached into Tek’s torso and melted her heart,

and how the pain crushed her like thousands of pounds.

In her sleep, Tek would hear the sounds

of her long lost wife, begging for freedom.

And Tek promised to return her, and establish a glowing Queendom.

A Harvester Scythe, shoved in her hands -

Made by Gazardiael to extinguish the lives of man.

Tek served the veil, and undid herself with strife,

and lived through an undoing and redoing of her life.

She was free for a while before a Shadow was born by the hand of her Father, who's screaming and torment began to swallow her whole

and the weight of blistering Ice wore down her white soul.

And as silent snow fell upon the glistening mountains, a singular moon rise high in the sky.

Tek spoke to the eternal night only one line that passed through her frozen and cold lips: “I weep, I seek sleep, and I am ready to die.”

Vhorr'kalan rested on his knees before an altar, his once wholesome figure now wracked with unease -- something was off, somebody had faded but alas he could not figure out who. He only knew that it was possibly a peasant someplace in the world or by a tinier chance a former ally but he could not grasp it. Unsure and riddled with doubt, his gaze moved skyward to fixate on the ever so distant moon yearning for his torment to end.
