Fliers are sent across the realm to Vailor's Major cities.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________

On the 22nd of the Deep Cold, 1543, the 8 year old Almas "Allie" Yar was rescued from House Kharadeen due to the bravery of and the many sacrifices made by The White Riders of the Hallowlands who lead The Qalasheen Spring. We take a moment to pay homage to the many men who died during the distraction made for Almas' grandfather Tigrisdyr to extract her from the Kharadeen Palace.

After these events I, Nafis Yar, hereby release Irsia Kharadeen from Ard Ghorrock so that she may be reunited with her children. To Arlen Kharadeen, this is not for your sake. You and your father before you have claimed to be Holy Men, messengers of Allah. The Voice of Allah. You have used the title 'Caliph' since your departure from Aesterwald to Deus Proditor to gather the Qalasheen Clans like cattle. Under the false shroud of neutrality, which was what our nation was built upon, Faiz Kharadeen secretly planned to one day make us into a Jihadist Army to aid his personal endeavors. And now he whispers into your ear Arlen. While your loyalty to your father is commendable and only natural, he and the rest of the Qalasheen are cut from different strains of Cactus Green. Faiz Kharadeen is the cheap kind of Cactus Green that gives you an upset stomach for half the high it was worth while the Qalasheen who have fought to preserve their people and their freedom from the conflicts of outsiders are from 'the dankest of greens'.

While listening to your father, Arlen Kharadeen, you have kidnapped a little girl with no business in the realm of these politics, killed multiple Qalasheen youths either via strangling or by the blade and have embedded the Qalasheen deeper into a war between Orenians and Urguanites.

Today I make the goals of the Insurgency clear to all of those across Vailor.

  • The Insurgency seeks the independence of Khalestine and the rest of Vandoria's former vassals from the ridiculous nation of Vanderguan. Many of the Lords and Ladies of Vandoria have been played by Faiz Kharadeen as he has painted Oren and John I as the boogieman simply to rally an army to fight on behalf of his half-men friends who he claims to owe a debt to for Aesterwald.
  • The Insurgency seeks the execution of Faiz Kharadeen for his crimes against The Qalasheen people, The Vander people and the Realm of Vandoria from Khalestine to Hallowvale as a whole.
  • The Insurgency seeks the neutrality of Khalestine and the rest of Vandoria's former vassals from this conflict between Vanderguan and Oren.
  • The Insurgency seeks Khalestine out to not protect the Dunamian Thugs at the heart of former Vandoria and the rest of former Vandorian vassals who continue their involvement in the war.

In return for these demands, The Insurgency promises the following.

  • The Insurgency promises to cease all hostilities in Al-Wakhrah and the rest of Khalestine, which by definition shall include Al-Wakhrah and the desert stretching out East.
  • The Insurgency promises to mediate talks between the Caliphate of Khalestine and the Holy Empire of Oren keeping in mind the wish for House Kharadeen and the civilians of Khalestine to remain independent in exchange for their neutrality.

On Faiz Kharadeen

The former Caliph, one who I once called a father, has gone senile with age. He has rounded up the Qalasheen like cattle in preparation for a day he could jihad Oren. He cares not for the well being of Qalasheen, Vanders or the people of Vandoria as a whole. He cares about his personal friends in Urguan. With that said, this is Faiz Kharadeen's honorable fight. It is not OUR fight. And it is dishonorable for Faiz Kharadeen to drag us into a war we want nothing part of. The Qalasheen cherished the days when all walks of life would come to Al-Dirahk back in Deus Proditor to browse the bazaars. Business was incredible and the Jharar, Kaneen and al-Rhadid clans flourished from it. But Faiz has put others before his people and war is at our doorstep because of this man.

For his plotting against the former High Dictator Frederick Rovin II descendant of Voron 'The Hammer' Rovin and his needless lust to destroy Oren, fellow sons of Horen, The Insurgency has deemed it a necessity to cease the old man's life for a better tomorrow.

On Malik Kharadeen

The death of Malik Kharadeen was an unfortunate one. One that I knew nothing about. After I had released Irsia Kharadeen, I sent a falcon to Al-Wakhrah to deliver something to you.

Spoiler

The following is a letter directed entirely to just Arlen Kharadeen. The hand writing would be that of Malik Kharadeen's. It is a neat scroll closed with a red ribbon.

"Adil, you were once my brother, now you have turned into an enemy of the state? I challenge you to a duel of honor. You versus I, only one man walks away and he will walk away. -Malik Kharadeen"

Your brother's death is the product of a duel of honor and the letter I have sent you is what he sent Adil. I will bring to light the circumstances not shown in this letter. Malik was in an affair with Rajiya al-Shamrani, a woman who Adil was courting. While I wish nothing bad had come to Malik, it was his pride and eyes for another man's woman that pushed him down the path that lead to the Sultan's death.

A Final Note

I have no interests claiming Khalestine's throne for myself, Arlen Kharadeen. While I see you as no real religious leader of the Qali, I am far from the title of Caliph myself. It is my personal belief that such a title should be abolished, or for the meaning behind it to change to humble the leader of the Qalasheen to that of any mortal man. Should you wish me out of Khalestine, pay heed to our demands and I will never return. However, if you ignore the demands of the insurgency, I vow that I will take the throne from you. And after speaking to a man just last Khali day, he told me I have gotten this far through my pure will and faith in God. And if the escape of Sahárfajhari and I meant anything when you and your men assaulted our forward compound, I believe God was on our side. And still is.

See reason,

Nafis Yar.

Neci on her travels at gathering posters and locations to place posters of her own would spot one of these posters, glad that business like this wasn't being held in private courts that people always seemed to magically know. Reading through the note Neci would mutter to herself.

"Damnnnnnnnnnn, Forefathers bless Nafis and Arlen both, Nafis to end this senseless conflict and Arlen to get some sense."

Irsia would read one of the many fliers, giving a small nod of approval. "Faiz has gone delirious with age. He is living in a past life. Arlen must see this, and take neutrality, if he ever wishes for peace. His Father's death would not be a major loss. He's been around for centuries ago if seems."

Denis gives a smile at the news, hopeful that the Caliphate will soon return to a state of peace.

"May Arlen see reasoning behind these words and hopefully not the toxic words his father spreads before him.." Tigrisdyr exhales, looking to Little Almas. Happy to bring her home from the horrible ordeal. "I did what I thought was right, capturing a little girl like that. Who their damned mind would do that to a poor child anyway." He would sit down in a chair slowly sliding down it. He would be shaking his head thinking of how the Kharadeens are child snatchers of the night. "They will now be forever known as the evil child snatchers that roam the night stealing the naughty children when they sleep." He then slowly drifts asleep, with a small smile on his face as he saved his little granddaughter.

Ser Aymer endeavors a simplistic smile to the document, his bagged eyes weary from the long hostilities.

"If Vanderguan fights so vehemently for 'freedom', then what is the nature of these people?" Publius muses to himself, shaking his head.

"They are becoming what they fight, only not looking so intimidating in the youth of their aggression. I pray that this all ends soon, so we may soon see damage undone, allowing seeds to be sewn and see the fruits of our labour, rather than destruction for our toils."

The war-torn Amir would read the news with a faint smile.
"Nafis, my dear rafiqi." he would murmur quietly.
"We may be enemies, however, you are fighting the most honourable fight.
The struggle for peace."

He would walk upon the walls of Al-Wakrah, looking at the Ghorrock Mountain Range.

"Make the right choice and we will do the same."

"Bismillah, let there be peace."

"He had no place in this war, these words hold some truth." Uttered Sarrion as he looked over the parchment.

Enepay watched Irsia be escorted out of Ard Ghorrock from the castle battlements. The lonely shepherd let out a pensive sigh, perhaps Arlen would see sense and pull out of this war. He just wanted his flock back.

Neero hears news of the released captive, sighing in relief. "Even though this war is hard to know who is right and wrong.. Both captives returned to their home and safe.. Is the best news news.. Only one would think what could be going in their minds.. We all strive for peace.. Shall the Caliph make the best choice and end this fued.. Revenge will cause more pain and suffering.. We should not continue this endless cycle of war.. " he mutters as he walks through the streets, patrolling the city. "We must unite not fade away.. I still remember the days Nafis and Faiz stood side by side in Hallowvale.. They seemed as family.. This should not stagger their relationship.. Of family.."

He wanders more around the city, seeming as he talks to himself.

"We need to stop the white man before they make us all slaves, ya here? Those of us different colored folk need to stop this before it continues, before we become just like the Elves who think they can fight, before we become like the Halflings and lose our homes because someone else deemed it so. Don't bow down now Caliphate, you're falling into a trap, a trap only brain dead 'supposed believers of god' walk into.", cries Durack
