Hey guys! We're interested in the more economic/profession side of the server's gameplay. I've got a few questions for you to answer. Your input will help shape the next few updates that pertain to minas and the economy.

* - Tell me about your character. What race are they? What is their in-character job? What professions do you have on that persona? Frida Harwyn is a Highlander Human. She is currently unemployed, but wishes to become a medicae. Chef. 

 

* - Why did you choose the professions you chose? What made you pick it over all the rest, even those who don't have a ton of players already working on them? Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession?  Frida learned to cook from her mother, and has been good ever since. Frida loves to cook, she's loved it since she was little. No I do not believe cook and medicae relate ahaha.

 

* - How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week? Currently 40 because she bought a few new dresses (Skins). Honestly depends on voting keys. 

 

* - What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for? At the tavern or paying a tailor. A horse.

Proffesions:Blacksmithing.

Why I chose it: Because, with the orcs' warring lifestyle, armor and weapons is what they need.

What made me pick it over the rest: Awesome roleplay whilst blacksmithing.

Do your professions match your character's in-character profession? Yep, especially with being the chieftain of Clan Raguk

Not much.

The orc's community evolves around trade, not minas.

 Orcs usually give items to whoever asks.

The nation didn't have a stonemason so I switched skills for the better of the nation. My persona's rp started to warp around stone masoning over time.

 Couple hundred, not sure, depends on how much I actively try and trade. 

* - What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for?
I like to buy RP items from the auction house, I save up for absolutely random crap, I'd like to save up for a larger library and or estate in Sutica.

 Weapons are minas while most other stuff can be resources. Most of the stonemason crafts I do are for others weapons, building materials, or nation supplies.

Daemon Swords have always been cool and as someone that enjoys restaurant rp, the food and drink's are awesome.

I chose fisher because the grappling hook seem pretty nice, and I like to gamble, so Caskets are pretty fun, and then I just cook the fish so I have food.

* - What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for? I stash my hoarde of goodies, and save them so I can look at it in my multiple full armor chests. I do not seek to buy any items really.

 

* - How often do you trade items for minas? If you're a crafter, approximately how many crafts do you sell? None, Minas are far less valuable than other goods like enchanted gear.

Wood Elf, and he does a little bit of everything. Particularly, he builds boats and other engineering stuff. I use my racial and don't pick any other so I can get them all to adequate.

My character's professions match him in RP. He is meant to be a jack of all trades with a focus in woodworking, fletching, and carpentry.

600, 600, and probably ~4-6 hundred through voting

I spend money on things I need and that will further my RP. When possible, I gather materials myself so that I don't have to spend any minas.

Whenever I can sell for a good price. I'm sure that will increase very soon.

Mostly PVP stuff. If commodities count then them obviously. I'm not sure what else to say here.

My character, Omar Grimmer'Lak, is a 98-year-old male Goblin with muscular dystrophy. He doesn't really have an in-character job because I'm an OOCer, but RPly he is known as a tinker. My racial professions are tinker and miner. My bonus profession is Breeder. I got lazy so now I'm only leveling tinker.

I chose the professions I chose because they are enjoyable. I picked them over all the rest because tinker is a racial profession, and those get like 30% bonus experience and they currently cap at 30mil xp. My profession does match my character's RP/IC profession.

 

* - How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week?

I have 2900 minas on that persona. 2900 minas total. I gain as many minas per week as voting allows me to gain.

I don't spend my minas. I save up for the purpose of saving up. There is nothing that I want to buy but don't have enough for. I want to get some free land from somewhere to make farms, and I am not willing to pay for it.

On rare occasions I sell horses and tinker-related junk. I rarely sell crafts, I enjoy saving up chests full of materials.

No, I don't spend minas.

Fishing is the only profession I have.

What professions do you have on that persona?: My character Sylen is a Human, his job is a bunch of stuff but mostly being an Architect, builder, and a soldier. His Professions are Miner, Enchanter, Leatherworker, Woodworker, Farmer, Stonemason, Chef... etc.

Why did you choose the professions you chose? What made you pick it over all the rest, even those who don't have a ton of players already working on them? Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession?: I chose these professions because I enjoy being a jack-of-all-trades and being able to do pretty much any job needed at anytime. They do match his roleplay professions because he's always doing a bit of everything.

How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week?: I have zero minas and I make less than 100 a week because voting only gives me items, even when I redeem just 2 keys. Why don't we have mobs spawning that drop minas when killed like back in the old days? I want to earn my wealth by hunting monsters.

What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for?: I contribute my money to my group so we can save up and be able to afford things like a charter, LC, and paying for siege engines we'll need to defend ourselves with. I would like to buy a charter and LC for a sky island city, but no one will let that happen.

How often do you trade items for minas? If you're a crafter, approximately how many crafts do you sell?: I never sell anything I make because it's all needed by my group.

Have you ever seen a nexus item (read: non RP) that you've gone "That's a pretty good item. I'm going to spend minas to buy it."? If so, what has it  been?: Once in the last map when I saw an OP bow in the CT auction house so I bought it.

Human, quartermaster for a brigade in the Imperial Legion. Enchanting, leatherworking and blacksmithing.

I picked alchemy first because I thought it would be interesting to try it for the first time, and a monks gotta make ale.

It fits his rp persona pretty well actually! Since he's traveling here and there.
