* - Tell me about your character. What race are they? What is their in-character job? What professions do you have on that persona?
Highlander, Retired Bootmaker. I've not selected any main professions as I feel that it's easier to not specialize in one, in turn limiting your options as to what you can craft etc.

* - Why did you choose the professions you chose? What made you pick it over all the rest, even those who don't have a ton of players already working on them? Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession?
I used leatherworking to create the boots, but as for that - that's about it.

* - How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week?
Around 3500. I don't really actively try to earn mina as I feel I can gather common things for myself, and 3.5k is enough reserve to buy any special items should I need them.

* - What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for?
I haven't spent money in quite a while, however the most common thing i'd be spending it on would be rent.

* - How often do you trade items for minas? If you're a crafter, approximately how many crafts do you sell?
When I was a bootmaker, I'd sell on average 4 pairs of boots each day - which could bring in up to 400 mina. Some days I'd make 1k mina just by roleplaying with people and making boots for them.

* - Have you ever seen a nexus item (read: non RP) that you've gone "That's a pretty good item. I'm going to spend minas to buy it."? If so, what has it  been?

In my opinion, not really. I don't feel the need to have weapons etc because I'm not such a big PVP player, and I can represent items other ways.

( Not sure if you wanted all characters or not? )

* - Tell me about your character. What race are they? What is their in-character job? What professions do you have on that persona?

Kalviin Ireheart is part owning in the Iron Honor in Urguan (Shop) part of the Legion and Clan Father of his clan and trades regularly in mining resources and tools. Professions are Miner/stonemason/blacksmith/enchanter

* - Why did you choose the professions you chose? What made you pick it over all the rest, even those who don't have a ton of players already working on them? Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession?

I picked them because they work with my racial (miner) and fit well with my roleplay. Plus I enjoy them.

* - How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week?

About 5000 or so and I have basically no currency on my characters other then Kalviin because I don't have a use for it. My income varies greatly, usually on the low end or non existent.

* - What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for?

I might splurge on magic items but mostly I gather everything I need myself therefore don't spend much money in general unless on property.

* - How often do you trade items for minas? If you're a crafter, approximately how many crafts do you sell?

I have sold hundreds of crafted items for small amounts of minas mostly, but on average a few per week maybe.

* - Have you ever seen a nexus item (read: non RP) that you've gone "That's a pretty good item. I'm going to spend minas to buy it."? If so, what has it been?

I am currently hunting this and I NEEEEED IT SO MUCH (Not specifically but just in general a bottemless drink)371b4825c44b3d441f2f10eb063862ca.png

Also some staves and other weaponry mostly... and maybe some jewellery.

* - Tell me about your character. What race are they? What is their in-character job? What professions do you have on that persona?

Dark Dwarf - Jewelcrafter (only active one I know of that lasted more than a week). Miner/Stonemason/Blacksmith/Tinker.

Also legion member, teaching fellow, etc.

* - Why did you choose the professions you chose? What made you pick it over all the rest, even those who don't have a ton of players already working on them? Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession?

You can't possibly do active jewelcrafting RP with another combination of professions. If I didn't have miner, I'd have no base resources. If I didn't have blacksmith, I wouldn't be able to craft gold / chain items to be renamed. If I didn't have tinker, I wouldn't have my overnight blaze rod crafts for gemcutting. And stonemason ... gemcutting.

* - How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week?

What a question lacking in taste! I've ~25,000 minae on my persona. Other persona has an irrelevant small amount of pocket money. Gain/week depends on how much time I contribute. When I was in a money-flurry to gather for charter I had a few days where I cashed out 2k-3k. But it's usually 300-400 minae a day.

* - What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for?

Charter - charter + possible war - I have enough money for anything.

* - How often do you trade items for minas? If you're a crafter, approximately how many crafts do you sell?

I have daily sales of weapons & repair. It varies a lot per day, I'd say around 20-30 unnamed, generic crafted items or stacks of resources a week. When I had time to dedicate and was doing roleplay crafts, I had 1-2 of that every day.

* - Have you ever seen a nexus item (read: non RP) that you've gone "That's a pretty good item. I'm going to spend minas to buy it."? If so, what has it  been?

Never in my life, or my character's life. In fact, I never spent any money on nexus so far, neither on materials nor on finished products. I have arranged repair/trade deals for some resources.

* - Why did you choose the professions you chose? What made you pick it over all the rest, even those who don't have a ton of players already working on them? Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession?

Blacksmith because when he was young he apprenticed under his grandfather who was a smith. And breeder it just seemed fun and needed leather for armor.

3.8k

* - What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for?

I check auction houses for cool stuff every so often. And if I ever need something I'll try to find it and buy it. Ex: Few days ago I needed bookshelves so just oddities like that

* - How often do you trade items for minas? If you're a crafter, approximately how many crafts do you sell?

Sold a few horses, I sell ingots and ore to some people, and made a few sets of armor for people.

Interesting Survey

* - Tell me about your character. What race are they? What is their in-character job? What professions do you have on that persona?

My primary character is Eliza. She's a High Elf scholar. The professions I use on her are Miner, Lumberjack, and eventually Enchanter.

* - Why did you choose the professions you chose? What made you pick it over all the rest, even those who don't have a ton of players already working on them? Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession?

I chose the gathering professions so I can go out and collect things to decorate my house with. It allows me to get some basic furniture at the least, so I have a roleplay healthy enviroment to invite people to. Enchanter (when I get the bonus profession slot), will be a minor source of income down the road. Of these, Lumberjack matches the least with my character but that doesn't really matter to me. Material gathering will always be ooc in my eyes.

* - How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week?

I have one thousand minas as of today. That is strictly from voting. In a week I'll get maybe three hundred or so? I vote fairly irregularly.

* - What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for?

The go-to items I always have to buy for my character are iron swords and gold swords. This ensures I can enjoy combat/conflict rp if and when it comes around. I may buy other decorative blocks for furnishing a house(i.e. glass panes, iron fences, etc). I save up mostly for skins, and I'll always want another skin so it's something I'll keep saving up for.

* - How often do you trade items for minas? If you're a crafter, approximately how many crafts do you sell?

I will rarely trade anything for minas until I have an enchanting set up going. By that point, it is usually much later in the map when enchantments don't usually sell as well.

* - Have you ever seen a nexus item (read: non RP) that you've gone "That's a pretty good item. I'm going to spend minas to buy it."? If so, what has it  been?

I don't believe so.

Ingredients, random things, usually large minae investments into charters, new business, etc.

Once - twice per week, in very bulky amounts, random items.

Tell me about your character. What race are they? What is their in-character job? What professions do you have on that persona?

Lilach Everupt, Helf, none and none. Aldon Curler-Acosta, Elf, none and none. If either of my personas had a job, I doubt I'd be spending time grinding. Only the few bits of experience I get once in a while.

Why did you choose the professions you chose? What made you pick it over all the rest, even those who don't have a ton of players already working on them? Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession?

N/A. For the sake of the question, though, the OOC professions will probably match the IC one.

How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week?

As much as I save up from voting, which is approx. 500 in total.

What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for?

Mostly essential items like saddles, swords, and such.
I don't save up for many things. Sometimes a thing that costs a bit over my average coin storage; mostly rp items, though.

How often do you trade items for minas? If you're a crafter, approximately how many crafts do you sell?

I don't, and none.

Have you ever seen a nexus item (read: non RP) that you've gone "That's a pretty good item. I'm going to spend minas to buy it."? If so, what has it  been?

The item for roast chicken (Tier-two chicken item, not sure if I got the item name right) made me stop and awe. It had a nice description, and I'm hoping to see more of these.

* - Tell me about your character. What race are they? What is their in-character job? What professions do you have on that persona?

Iaria Elervathar - A High Elf seamstress and librarian. I focus my professions mainly on farming and alchemy.

* - Why did you choose the professions you chose? What made you pick it over all the rest, even those who don't have a ton of players already working on them? Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession?

I have never made use of alchemy in RP yet, aside from the idle tea brewing that my character occasionally does. As a farmer, Iaria can easily obtain and craft blank tomes for her library. It’s somewhat necessary for her to do.

* - How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week?

She earns approximately 1600 minas per week, if I happen to skin efficiently and quick. Right now she has a a total of.. 7k?

* - What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for?

Last I’ve spent my money on LC. I don’t really use minas all that much, apart from maybe art commissions and the alike.

* - How often do you trade items for minas? If you're a crafter, approximately how many crafts do you sell?

I only trade minas if the consumer can afford it. The Tailor’s Guild will pay for my skins anyway if I place them on my PMC.

* - Have you ever seen a nexus item (read: non RP) that you've gone "That's a pretty good item. I'm going to spend minas to buy it."? If so, what has it  been?

Nope, never.

Tell me about your character. What race are they? What is their in-character job? What professions do you have on that persona?

My Orc works as a merchant of sorts, selling a large assortment of wares including leather, farming products, ingots, and narcotics. My High Elf does not really work right now, she is more of a vagrant who just wanders (a contributing factor to this, though, is I don't play her that much anymore). My Orc is a masterful miner, veteran farmer, and adept leatherworker. my High Elf is a veteran breeder and adequate chef.

 - Why did you choose the professions you chose? What made you pick it over all the rest, even those who don't have a ton of players already working on them? Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession?

I chose most of my professions based more on needs right now. On my Orc, I went with miner mainly in order to help supply the Orcish community, however I chose farmer for several reasons, most importantly because he is very interested in botany and also because he planned to become very invested in the narcotics business. My other character, I chose those professions based on jobs I recently had. I tend to switch around professions on that persona a lot due to her tending to work in a very large amount of different fields and is very adaptive.

- How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week?

I do not put a very large emphasis on money due to the fact that I tend to not buy a whole lot of things. On my Orc I currently have 143 minas, and on my High Elf I have 38 minas. I do not gain many minas, partially due to my own failures as a merchant but mainly due to my focus on other things.

* - What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for?

I typically spend my money on my Elf on alcohol, and not a whole lot else. I am currently saving up on my Orc for a couple things. First, to pay for my college tuition. Second, to buy a monster hunting license. And third, to buy a stall or shop somewhere.

* - How often do you trade items for minas? If you're a crafter, approximately how many crafts do you sell?

I sell items for minas occasionally, but not particularly often.

* - Have you ever seen a nexus item (read: non RP) that you've gone "That's a pretty good item. I'm going to spend minas to buy it."? If so, what has it  been?

Nothing really comes to mind. Usually I buy items just out of need for them rather than looking for quality, instead opting for whatever seems to be the cheapest or a good middle ground between price and quality.

* - Tell me about your character. What race are they? What is their in-character job? What professions do you have on that persona?

Human Farfolk. Officer of a guild. Chef main (tinker bonus, everything else to fair)

* - Why did you choose the professions you chose? What made you pick it over all the rest, even those who don't have a ton of players already working on them? Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession?
I originally chose chef because the wiki at the time said that Farfolk got bonuses on them (I'm told this was inaccurate), but I stuck with it because it's interesting RP. And it does match the roleplay profession as well and I will frequently RP my professions (even my non-set ones).

* - How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week?
Around 2000? I don't think my other personas have minas. I get maybe 200 or so since I've stopped voting when the key wipe happened.

* - What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for?
Taxes, settlement things like minespawns and soon a quick travel charter. Occasionally building or crafting materials if it's expedient. I'm not saving for anything in particular at the moment. There's nothing I want that I'm too poor for right now since we're pretty comfortable in our current spot.

* - How often do you trade items for minas? If you're a crafter, approximately how many crafts do you sell?
I usually prefer to trade items for other items, though I do co-own an autoshop right now. None of my crafts are in this autoshop, funnily enough. I only trade my crafts when I'm approached in RP for them.

* - Have you ever seen a nexus item (read: non RP) that you've gone "That's a pretty good item. I'm going to spend minas to buy it."? If so, what has it  been?

Recipes, PvP gear, cheap crafting materials.

* - Tell me about your character. What race are they? What is their in-character job? What professions do you have on that persona?

Wood elf. Stonemason, chef, woodworker and lumberjack professions. He is a sculptur and a lumberjack IC.

* - Why did you choose the professions you chose? What made you pick it over all the rest, even those who don't have a ton of players already working on them? Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession?

Lumberjack I choose mostly because of the MC work, and I liked fruit a lot. I actually created a lot of my character because of that profession. Woodworker came with the race, it really just used to help me with building (not so much anymore). Stonemason I choose for my character because of development. He started gem crafting in roleplay, and then I started the profession. Afterwards he went into sculpture which I represent with unique items that I make with my VIP, but I still represent a lot of what he does with the profession. Chef I added because he cooks, also matching what he does IC.

* - How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week?

About 500 minas on that persona, and I don't have any more minas on the other personas. Per week, on a good week, maybe 200 minas. On normal weeks, nothing. It has to do with the time I spent actively trying to sell items to players. If I don't try to sell stuff, I normally don't sell. Sometimes a player or two appear saying they saw a sign and want a figurine, and that's about it.

* - What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for?

I spend the minas on food essentials mostly, since I don't pvp, armor and weapons are useless to me. I do enjoy unique items though, and when I find some I like, I buy them. The only thing I would spend more minas on would be builders. I am not a great builder, but I do like well built places. Decoration of my house would be one thing to spend my minas on. I mostly use autoshops to buy items I need. If I have enough fruit to make a stack of pies, I will buy eggs and wheat and sugarcanes so that I can create the stack. If I need iron for buckets for example, I buy them.

* - How often do you trade items for minas? If you're a crafter, approximately how many crafts do you sell?

Less than once a week, but I usually sell unique items that I create with /edit. I do work for the town as well, but that I do for free. I make a lot of food sometimes, just because I like the food items, then place them in the free food chest. I make a few staves as well for weapons in town. I hardly ever use stonemasonry, there's just not many uses for it if you're not a builder.

* - Have you ever seen a nexus item (read: non RP) that you've gone "That's a pretty good item. I'm going to spend minas to buy it."? If so, what has it  been?

Potions and Enchantments. Why? Because the enchantments I use (mostly durability) are very useful with diamond axes, making them extremelly efficient with trees. Potions because I like potions, they also fit with rp things at the time I buy them. Even if I go "Great sword/armor" I won't buy it for two reasons, it's expensive, and I won't have any use for it. Building materials I buy when cheap, not because they are good. Same with iron and stuff.

* - Tell me about your character. What race are they? What is their in-character job? What professions do you have on that persona? Just an elf. Doesn't have a specific in-character job, just does whatever he can get money from or people need him to do. My professions are: Leatherworker (#1, baby), Chef, Farmer and Breeder.

* - Why did you choose the professions you chose? What made you pick it over all the rest, even those who don't have a ton of players already working on them? Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession? To be honest, most of my professions just stem from how they relate to each other. Breeder works with Chef and Leatherworker. Farmer works with Chef and Breeder. I don't really have an in-character profession, though I do frequently RP cooking or leatherworking.

* - How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week? 124 mina on the main, dunno about my other personas since I haven't played them in a while. Gain really depends on whether I trade a lot that week, or the results of my votes.

* - What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for? Usually just random RP items and materials for leatherworking. Though I bought a 70x70 plot which I'm saving up for getting expanded to 100x100.

* - How often do you trade items for minas? If you're a crafter, approximately how many crafts do you sell? People loving buying stacks of leather armour if they're a blacksmith. I could probably also sell a bit of food.

* - Have you ever seen a nexus item (read: non RP) that you've gone "That's a pretty good item. I'm going to spend minas to buy it."? If so, what has it  been? Nope.

Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession? I thought they would be interesting professions to play(besides miner) and that they would match my character's personality.

* - How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week? On average I make almost nothing in a week, on rare occasions do I get Minas.

Professional Racoon Masturbator

Orc, works, in a certain way as a hunter, but he used to work as an enslaver and on the trading of furs and skins. Currently, I have fishing and I work as Johannesburg's kingpin with drug trading.

* - Why did you choose the professions you chose? What made you pick it over all the rest, even those who don't have a ton of players already working on them? Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession?

I was the first aengulic leatherworker...! I've picked it because there was no one else that was really high, and I discovered a way to grind 110k exp a day on leatherworking, efficiently acquiring 1.000.000 in a week.

My profession, of course, matches my character, considering he's a hunter.

* - How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week?
200, 500, can get up to 1000 if I have the will. I've got 1500 on a single day by selling dead dogs, #TimeIsMoney

* - What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for?
I like to spend my money onto resources in order to make more money. Currently, I'm trying to get money to buy plot upgrades for my faction, and that pretty much answers the last one, heh.

* - How often do you trade items for minas? If you're a crafter, approximately how many crafts do you sell?
When I trade, I always go for the minas. When I used to craft, I could sell up to 20 studded leather per deal, and lightweight armor could've been a really good business.

* - Have you ever seen a nexus item (read: non RP) that you've gone "That's a pretty good item. I'm going to spend minas to buy it."? If so, what has it  been?
