Agreed. Spawn should be designed to ferry people off to the various RP hubs, not make people want to stay and primarily RP there. Although, I think this is still a step in the right direction

Okay so while this isn't great if you're complaining about the admin shops they worked really well last map, there's no way to get minas, and iron is like 2 Minas per ingot. Don't be silly.

 

but yes it would be cool if we just had something less RP friendly. Spawn RP is cancer and I am quite certain it does nothing to help player retention. You don't join an RP server to see mass L-OOC and meme RP.

I appreciate the hard work of the staff and those involved in the creation of this place. The build is awesome, thanks to Ang and others for their contribution to how it looks. But creating the same exact problem that occurred last map when the server in a poll during the map transition agreed they did not want a cloud temple that centered itself upon rp'ing there it's admittedly frustrating to see that completely ignored.  While I again appreciate the hard work of you guys for doing this, and from the perspective of somebody who's been a leader of a community for two years: all you're doing is harming the activity of every single Nation/Independent state on this server by creating a place that promotes rp (notably with zero consequence due to CT rules) by bringing players there, instead of directing them to respective player bases.

I honestly love how man this people are against this. I love the idea, and I love the Administration. I didn't take those pictures for nothing, and I haven't offered my help when theyve needed it when it comes to pictures for nothing. They're great people, and under a lot of **** because of the blacklist. Maybe show the people that keep your PREMIUM ROLEPLAY EXPERIENCE functioning a little respect instead of spewing insults and **** endlessly from your mouth over every move they make to make the sevrer better. They could legit shut down the server at any time and you'd lose your premium rp. Thank you for reading and please save your triggered replies for pms.

I thought we were heading in the right direction with Axios when we didn't have a real Cloud Temple.

 

The idea of condensing is nice and should be followed, but on a map level. If you can lessen the travel times between each settlement then there's literally no need for a CT.

 

Either way it's here now and I'm sure it looks great. However, the team really need to get on board with what the community is asking for.

 

Can we not have a weekly thread and poll where the GMs can ask what we want,  propose their current ideas and let us decide what we think will be best?

 

After all, if the community decide then they can't complain if it doesn't work. Makes both of our lives easier and lessens the divide between staff and player.

Honestly. I believe the best cloud temple we had was on Asulon. It was perfect and portrayed the monks as deity beings of Resurrection and had a good vibe and feel towards it. Yes it was big but it was worth it. No stalls where setup and had an adventure inside. Though people did RP in it- people also RP'd around cities. 

 

Going back to this Aegis style build sets the server back and only "vet players" will know what this stands for and it isn't nostalgic very much and can hurt the servers build. It works good in the sunless sanctum due to it having different blocks / materials which makes it rotten and old looking. Here however it does not.

We had a similar just much smaller version of this temple in Vailor, really. Not the big one that vanished, but another, smaller one we were granted after it vanished.

I am unfamiliar with map names past Anthos. I am a  terrible person I know. Though was this the temp map marble and emerald monk city in the mountains?

 

If so, that small temple was lovely.

I joined early vailor so I have no clue what that is about but it was pretty much a small sandstone temple with the water and lava sorta' feature with steps that lead underground to sleeping bunks and a small library/meeting room. It looked similar to the one coming tomorrow just about half the size or so.
