Because I want to help new players get onto the server and if possible help new players who are interested in the races I am involved with to find a place in the respective community. I have no interest in taking a human, elf or dwarf as my main (nothing against the people who are interested in those races) and I would like to continue trying to grow the smaller playerbases I am already involved in.

That is good, but how would it help your job as AT to be familiar with more than what you are comfortable with.

I see the benefit of this idea honestly, however i can't see it being forced upon staff. Truthfully, any staff member that wants to seem better to the community, learn/grow and do an effective job should try to interact with as many groups as possible and keep their roleplay diverse. I try to talk with various player groups and you really can learn a lot from the different perspectives on this server.

The devs are the only staff team that does there job and does small things to aid everyone. You guys are the prime definition of great people. Your team is diverse from rp to pvp players and each group. Why would I need to mention you?

The main races are the ones with staff because that's where the roleplay is and that is where the activity is, if you aren't happy for example, at the amount of halfling events there is, become an ET and do events for the halflings, make your own player base active, but I don't think calling for staff to play other characters is very wise when you say it is to help with biased problems (In the case of the GMs). If I was to for instance start doing Uruk events and play an uruk/olog/goblin all of a sudden and did events for them consistently, the dwarves along with everyone else would eventually call me biased towards the orcs. Basically what I am saying is.... Humans are creatures of habit, everyone will always have a main player race, and that will also call for others to call bias. If you're having problems not being heard within your player base and you can't get any events, than you can change that yourself. 

Having said this I shall be looking into playing another character, I would like to revisit the orcs as they were my first love, while also venturing into elven territory at some point also...

I think if the takeaway from this by staff members is that more effort needs to be made to reach out to communities that receive less attention and that branching out their own roleplay is important, you'll have more of a victory than if they actually go through with this. You're right, though, there are definitely problems.

I agree with this but im speaking as a player. now i dont think they should quit their main's but i do think you can re organize events by have a schedule like this for example Monday:(random race) tuesday: random race extra extra, and seeing there is many races and groups you can shuffle them monthly and for country who are low on players you could add them like twice (if there is room ofc) so they can get players to come live in their country or become citizens and what not. I AM NOT saying ditch this idea im just puting another idea out there(do note i just had this idea on the top of my head) But i do support this except the parts of removing your main again im not a staff but i think thats up to the staff if they want to, THEY did volunteer to do this.
