Humanity lay in troubling times as most cities remain in a constant state of alertness, their eyes fixated upon the roads for any sight of highwaymen. Though the majority do not forget mass or their faith, the constant attacks from pagan raevirs have distracted them. During these troubling times, creatures of the occult and demonic have been able to worm their way into our cities through disguises. Some have gained the trust of our fellow man through deceptive tactics, other hide in armours. It is come to the attention of the Archdiocese of Rhodesia that Karyssmov Faroe and his demonic creations have taken up sanctuary on the borderlands, here they entrap men and women for meals and experiments. This report will contain detailed descriptions and information pertaining to these demons, I would advise reading the previous report on Karyssmov written by Archbishop Humpfrey which will be pinned below.

VALLIS SOLIS

 

Vallis Solis is the settlement far south of the Imperial City of Helena, located on the border regions of Arcas. It contains farms, small cottages, locked caves and a large keep. This Keep contains a large hall to which bears a quartz throne, similar to the one shown in the first report written by Humpfrey. Above this throne sits a large banner, the sigil of the Sentinels, the blue plated armour fellows who helped us leave Atlas, to which I will delve into later in this report. Whilst scouting this settlement I saw plenty of these Sentinels alongside golems, demonic entity and Karyssmov himself, however he is now red with horns. There were hidden compartments in this fortress which are have heavy locks to prevent access, there was also a cave in this settlement which contained another pool of blood. I looked around for a little while before being spotted by one of his demons and subsequently chased out of the town and down the river alongside their settlement. The cave I mentioned has now been boarded up as if it had never existed. I fear this settlement will be much like Arberrang, a base to which they conduct their occult ceremonies, gorging themselves on the flesh of men and recruiting more to their cause, all under the guise of an innocent settlement. Below are several sketches from informants and my own expeditions.

 

 

Below are sketches drawn from a scouting mission when the fortress was still in the early stages of construction, this is when I saw Karyssmov and the Sentinels who feigned neutrality.

DEMONIC CREATIONS

 

It is well known that demonic creatures are a great threat to the stability of mankind, their existence an affront to GOD himself. Demons can take all kinds of forms to infiltrate our cities to sow dissent and doubt, they may appear as a red bird-like creature with giant winds or  they might appear with horns. As seen in the past, Iblees took the form of man to lead Horen into greed by offering him riches and gold, so it is imperative that we cast out the demons and their creators from our society. Throughout this investigation it has been confirmed that Karyssmov was granted the ability to turn mortal human beings into demons, he can even curse unborn children to be born like himself.

 

He has been granted this ability by Iblees himself, as who else could he gain such evil power from? These demons are called ‘Naztherak’ and ‘Inferi’. Naztherak are gargantuan creatures who have immense physical power, able to hovering high above the ground from their winds and breath fire which corrupts the flesh on your very bones. They take upon many different forms and colours. Some people believe exemptions should be made to demons because ‘they are good’. I rebuke this claim as no demon is good, they are inherently bad due to their very nature. It is in the nature of a demon to feast on the flesh of men and to create chaos. They should not be allowed to gain a foothold in our grand Empire for they will always be bad and evil, created through vile sin as servants of Iblees himself. Below is a drawing of a Naztherak spotted on the main road of Belvitz in Atlas.

INFILTRATING HUMANITY

 

We all know demons exist and use a variety of disguises in order to infiltrate our cities or gain sympathy. For far too long have they been profiting on our pity and blind eyes. It has come to my attention that Karyssmov and his demons adorn a variety of different armours in order to get into cities and lure people out to feast upon. They own several stalls throughout Atlas which they use to fund their demonic activities, one of which is in Adria which now faces eviction. I urge all of humanity and respective nation owners, if you know any individual pictured or named in this report, evict any and all property they own. To knowingly allow demons to take the hard earned mina and goods from our people is a great sin to which condemns your soul to the void, for you aid Iblees himself.

 

It has come to my attention that Karyssmov and his associates run a alcohol company named ‘Faroevian Drinks’. I believe this company supplies various taverns throughout Atlas with beverages and the like. Even more worrisome, I have unearthed a disturbing truth regarding a tavern within our own Empire. The tavern in Adria which is ran by Lithren, somebody who Karyssmov cursed at birth, receives these drinks from this company. Lithren does not pay for the drinks from the company, instead she recieves them for free! This should bring great concern to the populace of Adria for they have drank drinks provided by a demon for free. Who knows what poison or demonic rituals he has performed with them. I urge people to not drink from this tavern until Lithren destroys all alcohol stocks and finds another supplier. Anybody found to be in business with the Faroevian Drinks company would face the punishment of funding demonic activities.

THE SENTINELS

 

Throughout this investigation, the same people were continuously cropping up as people of importance in relation to Karyssmov. Not much is known about them however they were first seen after we passed through the door at Last Hope and into the icey maze. They constructed us a ship in their dock and helped the Emperor defeat the Red Vaeyl in their fortress. However it can be revealed at long last, these people are in fact supporters or demons of Karyssmov in disguise to hide from identification. I have spent much of my time scouting and spying on Vallis Solis and have found these individuals helping Karyssmov and his servants construct their settlement, now perhaps I could mistake this for them being neutral and helping people rebuild their  home. It can in fact be revealed that this is far from the case. Demons cannot survive without flesh or descendants to gorge themselves on, nor can they create more without us, that is why they let us use their boat.

 

Karyssmov himself has put on this armour to infiltrate Adria to speak with a being who he cursed at birth. Other people in this uniform have been found buying stalls in various settlements throughout Atlas in order to fund their demonic activities. These individuals are shown above in the drawing, helping him construct the fortress to which they will conduct their foul deeds within. They have also been seen in another set of armour, in order to worm their way into our society to tear us apart and feed on our exposed flesh. These individuals should be considered dangerous and kill on sight due to their very nature. The armour hides their identity thus they should be considered amongst Karyssmovs demonic creations until proven otherwise. They are regardless associates of his and assist him in his foul deeds.

THE OPINION OF THE ASCENDED

 

During one of my interviews with a source, Elvira Naromis was named as a relative of Karyssmov, naturally I traveled to Sutica in order to speak with her and alert the Ascended that he was active yet again. However I was dumbstruck to discover she had already known this, they knew his location, his fellow demons, everything that I have listed here yet failed to alert anybody. Not only did they fail to alert anybody, they failed to do anything either. She claimed Karyssmov is on a path of redemption and attempted to make excuses for the sins of his past, which he has not yet atoned for. She claimed it is no longer the job of the Ascended to defend the descendant races from dark mages, unnatural beings and devilry, instead it was their task to prevent world-end events. However history has shown us, organisations based on this purpose never succeed as no aengul or daemon can alter the path GOD has set for us. I rebuke all claims that demons can atone for their sins or turn to a path of piety and righteousness. Demons are inherently evil by nature, it is in their very blood. They thrive off creating chaos and praying off the sick and vulnerable. The only way they thrive is by tricking us into feeling pity where none should be felt. It saddens me greatly to see the Ascended turn a blind eye to these vile demons who threaten our stability and existence. The Ascended have outlived their purpose and if they are caught in defence of these vile demons, should be considered associates and punished accordingly. There are rumours also circulating that members of the Ascended were spotted feasting in a tavern alongside a known Frost Witch.

Alas, as I continue to investigate Vallis Solis, I happened upon a house besides their fortress. After having forced entry into this house I explored and found an underground library with large storage capability. As I continued to explore I found my way upstairs to find two vacant rooms and one taken by a woman named ‘Eris’.I continued to look around and I was truly shocked to find Elvira had the master bedroom of this house! Truly it is a sad day when the Ascended are shacked up with demons, co-existing with creatures of which they are supposed to destroy. The Ascended are hereby found to be in league with Karyssmov and his demons and should be punished accordingly. I urge the Emperor to banish all members of Elvira’s order from the Empire for they have shown they favour demons over mortals. I also urge the leaders of Sutica to cast out these people before they bring danger to their city.

CONCLUSION

 

To conclude, demonic entities roam among us. There are many unfortunate people who have been cursed by demonic powers. I urge all of the realm to cast out all those listed above, for they dangerous to the Empire's stability. (Alright so first and foremost, it was a good read. But as stated by a lot of the other core-Naz’therak players, try ur best to keep a majority of their deeper terminology out of it- it’s alittle immersion breaking.)

A man wonders how the Archbishop was capable of taking such high-fidelity photographs of individuals walking around in a city in the wilderness. He wonders, if those are not photographs, how they’d be admissible evidence – surely he could draw something similar, but utterly fictitious!
