KRUSAE ZWY KONGZEM

Issued by the

CROWN

On this 17th day of Tov and Yermey of 397ES

VA BIRODEO HERZENAV AG EDLERVIK

Be warned all denizens of the Attenlund, and liegemen of the House of Mondblume, for a ghost has begun haunting the halls of Castle Richtenburg.

In the late summer of 397ES, nobles and courtiers of the Kongzem assembled in Castle Richtenburg at the invitation of Lord Sigmar Mondblume, heir to the Barony. Towards the feast's end, a commotion was raised by Count Vladrik Kortrevich and Lady Margot Baruch, who claimed they had encountered a ghost in the Castle's library. Investigations carried out by other feast-goers - including King Sigismund III, Kaustantin Baruch, Eirik Baruch, Isabella Decaden, and Lord Sigmar himself - notions that the 'ghost' had been a mouse were dismissed when the party began to hear crazed voices. Once the ghost began to show signs of aggression, Lord Kaustantin ordered the Castle's inhabitants to evacuate.

In light of these events, the Crown does decree the following:

  • That Castle Richtenburg is haunted by a spirit of unknown origins and motives, though it appears volatile and dangerous. Initial reports indicate the ghost sounds similar to a spirit heard at the ruins of the Rubern during a BSK expedition.
  • That Castle Richtenburg is therefore to be abandoned until the matter is resolved.
  • That Lord Vladrik Kortrevich, Count of Jerovitz, has offered the hospitality of his keep to the House of Mondblume and residents of Castle Richtenburg until the ghost is exorcised.
  • That the Knight's Table is to formulate an expedition to Castle Richtenburg to learn more of the ghost, and, if possible, expel it from the keep.

IV JOVEO MAAN

His Royal Majesty SIGISMUND III by the Grace of Godan, King of Hanseti and Ruska, Grand Hetman of the Army, Prince of Bihar, Dules, Lahy, Muldav, Solvesborg, Slesvik and Ulgaard, Duke of Carnatia and Vanaheim, Margrave of Korstadt, Rothswald and Vasiland, Count of Alban, Alimar, Baranya, Graiswald, Karikhov, Karovia, Kaunas, Kavat, Kovachgrad, Kvasz, Markev, Nenzing, Torun, and Toruv, Viscount of Varna, Baron of Esenstadt, Kraken’s Watch, Kralta, Krepost, Lorentz, Rytsburg, Thurant, Venzia and Astfield, Lord of the Westfolk, Protector of the Highlanders, etcetera.

Sosina Amador has a conniption fit, rolling in her grave while pondering over the troublesome years when ghosts invaded her own manor of Mondstadt!  To survive all of that, only to die to... a bee sting.

Dame Tavisha Markov put on her reading glasses, having been UTTERLY OBLIVIOUS to any and everything related to this ghost! Almost as if extraplanar entities prevented her from interacting with such ectoplasmic being!

The Revenant in question, whose name remained unknown, wouldn't read this notice... or would it? No, no... it was haunting Ricthenburg... or was it?  Perhaps it'd be wise for the Haeseni to piece its story together.

Prinzenas Petra Emma, regent of House Mondblume frowns at the missive, wondering what the hell her kids had gotten into while she was away from the Keep of Richtenburg.

In the wilds of the Attenlund, a certain Hunter received a letter directly from the Crown. It was odd, as the peasant did not expect such a letter to ever be sent to him. However it all made much more sense as he read the contents, as the Knights of the Table, and naturally their squires, are sent to investigate the now haunted Barony of Richtenburg. For once in his life, Oleksandr showed a bit of emotion, and a very rare one at that: worry. Worry not for the mission, but for the woman he once, and still calls, the love of his life. The man was old and had neglected his duties as a squire, but this mission was now personal.

Amelia sat within a tree, reading the now missive that the king had written up. Even though she did not consistently live in Ritchenburg, she had caused this missive to be written out. "Ich feel bad, it was nicht das big of ein problem das Ich needed ein place to stay, let alone mein family." She sighed and folded it up, looking to the stars to pass the time. Once again she felt alone in this all.

From afar, the Duchess of Adria could only imagine what the Princess-Regent was going through. She too had her fair share of supernatural encounters thanks to her eldest daughter's interest in the subject. The middle-aged princess was certain she could attribute some, if not all, of her greying hairs to such odd occurrences.

Prinzenas Klara Elizaveta shivered unhappily after having a maid read the missive aloud to her, for she herself could not read such big words yet. The little prinzenas quickly hid in her mountain of plush toys as she recalled what the strange voice in the bowels of Richtenberg Castle had whispered in her ear. "Child... I used to take care of children..."

The Oracle slaps their knee with glee. They follow it up by incoherently whispering among themselves, which to a passerby must have been pretty uncomfortable.

Sadeeq of the Library lofts a brow as one of the safety missives passes into his view. "Thankfully.. they are not talking about me.. for I am not dangerous nor volatile." He sets the missive down and proceeds to wrap his ectoplasm around a light cup of water, using it to water the plants in the library. He then returns to sweeping, because he likes his sanctuary clean.
