Ser Audo peered over the missive with a knowing, passing glance. His lone aqua gaze biefly narrowed, the glow dimming beneath his helmet. Politely folding the paper, he tucked it below the plate of his gauntlet. "Ag it shall be done - let us be rid of this Cold Plague of The Deciever. Ea'll niet have ea lauvas' life be of waste." The growl echoed quietly from his helmet. Stepping his way along, his sabatons crunched through the thickening snow as he made his way to his study. "Krusae zwy Kongzem." He solemnly chimed to himself, cast in a faint puff of breathy mist.

Walter Weiss was sat in his deputy palatine's office. He diligently worked to send missives and requisition forms to the appropriate arborists, whilst also placing an order for a new shipment of ferric axes. He looked out of the boarded window of the palace to gaze into the storm that continuously besieged the royal city.

 

He lifted his current stack of papers to a thick journal that bore the symbol of his house. He opened it, and continued to make plans for the city as the flames of the hearth flickered beside him.
