_mady07 1106 Share Posted October 17, 2023 Quinceanera Gran Princesa Ramona’s Coming of Age La Corte de Girasol[E.S. 449, 1946] Preludio At the coming of Gran Princesa Ramona’s fifteenth name day, the courts find it within reason to host a Quinceanera for the young viceroyal. Including two days of events: Itinerario [!] A picture commissioned in display of the illustrious flower of Hyspia. The city's markets will be open to the public to sell goods for the two days of events. Spoiler Contact _mady07 about opening a shop for the weekend A Game of Pearls In the Game of Pearls, throughout the two-day event, those who consider themselves as potential Suitors for the Crown Princess Ramona may present themselves with a pearl gift to make their intentions known. Discretion is encouraged in this endeavor as if they are to be accepted, they must speak with the Viceroy, Cesar II afterward. Day One - [Friday, 10-20 @5:30pm EST] The Bull Fight - A few chosen people will battle the bull, followed by the heiress herself who will take on The Great Toro in a fight to prove her worth of the title of Crown Princess. The Investment - If the princess is to survive, an Investiture will take place. It is during this time in which family, friends and the citizens of Hyspia and beyond may present gifts and witness the official granting of the title of ‘Crown Princess’ given to the Princess Ramona. Day Two - [Saturday - 10-21 Once court lets out (Around 5pm EST] The Feast - A feast celebrating Hyspia and its great city of La Dorada. The night will be feasted in memory; be it the bull or a burial. Just before the food is served, the Viceroy will take the Princess on her first steps around the room. Shortly after, drinks and dishes will be given and followed with a gift-giving from the princess who will start the ritual of passing out fifteen flowers of her choosing to the people who have most attributed to who she is today. The Ball - A ball of many colors is to be held immediately following this feast, all colors except for the color blue may be adorned by guests. During this grand event, the Princess will share a dance with her parents and then the floor will be allowed to the guests once more. Bards are called from across Aevos to perform for such a joyous day. Towards the end of the event, a Pinata will be hung to soon meet its demise. At the end of the night, the princess will give a speech to thank her guests and the people of Hyspia. Guests are expected to dress in any color under the sky excluding blue unless they are of the Hyspian military. The color blue is only for the Princess to wear. Gifts will be appreciated, yet not required.
