Gemini 1639 Share Posted February 29 Issued as of 14th of Snow's Maiden 170 SA Dear Celia'nor, In the realms of Aevos, both the mundane and the extraordinary, encompassing mortals and immortals alike, we refrain from entangling ourselves in political disputes. Our purpose is not to engage in the trivialities of political discord, but rather to uphold balance— balance in all things. When creation prevails excessively, destruction must inevitably follow, and when destruction overshadows, creation must rise. Our observations span epochs, predating even the destruction of Almaris. We bore witness to the Haelunorian coup d'état and the subsequent attempt at genocide, prompting necessary intervention. Similarly, we observed the internal struggles of Celia'nor, witnessing the equilibrium achieved through internal forces, leading to both destruction and creation. Yet, it is now apparent that the leaders of Celia'nor are embarking on another pursuit of dominance and destruction without demonstrating the necessary creation to maintain balance. Therefore, we issue the following ultimatum: Adhere to the principles of equivalent exchange to ensure the equilibrium of these realms. Cease pointless hostilities, for there shall be no unilateral conquest by any race, as we are all equals. Should you seek to conquer, it is imperative to reciprocate with creation. Destruction must be accompanied by a corresponding act of creation. We impose no specific timeframe, but compliance is expected. Failure to comply will prompt action, as we cannot permit your existence to undermine the delicate balance we strive to uphold. Signed, No one Spoiler [!] A piece of mundane parchment, copies scattered across the realms of Aevos.

Havsbris_ 467 Share Posted February 29 “Genocide. We were all born Haelun’orians, children of el cihi, who attempted to assert our right to a fair and democratic election by the people for the people. And those unsavory of Ni’Leya and the Bronze band that Haelun’or even now disparages led the charge against the people. This is the insanity those people bred.” The elfess noted to the missive.

Onnensr 600 Share Posted February 29 Father Nerium squinted at the parchment, puzzled by the false assumption that destruction cannot inherently be creative, nor can creation be inherently destructive. Conquest may bring wealth, prosperity, and peace. Isolation may bring culture, unity, and stability. Neither is necessarily always wrong. These Eshtael-adjacent ramblings were evidently the work of someone - or, as unlikely as it is, group - who thought themselves the supreme intellect over world politics, and that they knew the exact balances for these things. Where were these absolute geniuses when there was an enormous hole in the sky? Or when Mori sacked the city? Seemed fairly unbalanced, he thought.

Samler 1048 Share Posted February 29 Standard in the tavern of Haelun'or, the ancient elf shook his head lightly as he read the missive out loud to his trusty companion Abbu the mute bodyguard, upon finishing it he took only a few moments to declear. "The writer is an elf but not a Haelun'orian. Or mayhaps a darkspawn, attempting to goad Starland. None the less, I think this missive may do more damage than good." He commented out to Abbu and any other Haelun'orian which might be listening on the Maheral's take on the missive.
