Emilio Varoche smiled the sun's smile, his arms outstretched for the words of his King, "Words of wisdom and unity, I hope we can come to an agreement within the Garmont."

Tristan Adelin de Rennes turns to his brother Jean @LithiumSedai, who had specially visited to show him the missive, he said, 'There once was a dream, my brother, that was the Heartlands. I truly hope that King Edmund did not die for peace just for us now to see it squandered by the very people who fought for it.'

Bon'Ox grins as well - not wanting to be out done by others around him smiling & smirking. This will be an interesting meeting - though, it's probably for the best if he doesn't take part in it..

John began to write to his Brother, Charles II:

To my Brother,

My joy knows no bounds now that your intervention has taken place. The peoples of Enswerp, the Marna Brigade, and your fellow Aaunish men have stood in defense of this Confederation and its ideals. The very ideals that our own father advocated for.

I shall stand, as your brother and vassal. May GOD help us decide the most righeous conclusion, for unity comes above all.

Sincerely,

John Valentinus

Konstantin Leon, the Grand Speaker of the Garmont Assembly read on the post by the King. "My first Garmont Assembly to hold and all the King asks us to discuss is a 'resolution on the future of our nation'. Very vague, King Charles, bitte." Konstantin muttered, before thinking to himself. "I hope the representatives come with bills prepared, otherwise I don't imagine a free-for-all will be a good form of communication."

Johanna paced back and forth upon the ship's deck, the rhythmic creaking of the boards underfoot accompanying her thoughts. She read the missive with a growing smile, then paused, letting the parchment drop to her side as she gazed towards the approaching mainland. "May GOD and our King guide us back to unity in the Heartlands."

The Countess-consort of Warsovia, Catherine, read the missive within the walls of Podkamień. "Very wise words, my friend," she said with a satisfied nod as she regarded Charles' missive.

Aurel von Theonus looked between the terms for the confederation's split, already negotiated and agreed to between the two representatives, and the document announcing the confederation specifically focusing on the exit clause laid out in the document.

"Our split is nearly here. There is one more thing to accomplish."

Theodore Elwood would breathe a sigh of relief as he saw that King Charles the Second had made an official statement. Reading over a copy of the post, though, the Deputy Speaker would grow tense. "I am sure that the King is moving for peace here." he mutters to an unimportant nephew. "But I truly fear that brigands who already fought without his blessing will continue to wreak havoc on the Heartlands despite this call for a session of the Garmont." he'd say solemnly. Still, the man would rise from his seat and go to grab his things. He'd hug his kin goodbye before readying his steed.

"I must return to Vallagne. I am still an elected voice of the Petran province, and I shall not hide away in the countryside if the Garmont does truly come to assembly. Goodbye to you all for now. May GOD bless us in these trying times." he'd call with a sad smile before turning and riding back for Faubourg.

"Perhaps, if there were no Kings, and the people reigned in their own right, there could be an united confederation?" the Petran Karl Ludwig von Wittenbach mused before the Royal Missive. There was much thought to spare, and being prone to political intrigue, he would spend much a minute figuring out who to actually stand for, and how to proceed with the turmoil that had unfortunately struck his home.

Sir Karol Walewski let out a bark of laughter upon reading the missive. “He says this while Aaunic brigands prop up a pretender king. Condemn the damn Brigade of Marna and grant us the independence we have the right to assert, per the constitution.” He would then begin preparing for what would certainly be a spirited Garmont session.
