If Esfir had a refrigerator, she would pin her invitation to it with a heart shaped magnet. She had hardly been so excited about her own children’s wedding! With a delighted hum, she took to searching for the perfect gifts for her not-daughter Philippa and the groom!

Kareena would be preparing for the wedding with great care. She would do her best to try and be there for her daughter's big day and to prepare a wonderful gift.

With the invitation in her aging hands, Siegmunda of Velen sat at her desk. Her sharp eyes scanned the delicate script before a hushed gasp escaped her lips, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

 

Her niece. The daughter of her only brother, soon to be wed

 

"Joy overcomes me," she murmured, her tone filled with care. "Leufroy, how proud you would be." A pause then, she pondered. "May this union bring you boundless happiness and enduring prosperity, dear Philippa." So, she lifted herself from the desk and commanded a maid to plan for the wedding. This was something she wouldn't dare miss.
