Oh, and in todays' forecast, we see Unwillingly certainly spreading around screenshots in very good faith, certainly not trying to run a smear campaign. 🤯Followed by a mob of bitter people asking the person who logistically runs the plugins, fixes issues, and puts near full time hours to make sure you get a smooth experience, to step down. I can't roll my eyes enough at you people. Too immersed in the mineman politics to use common sense.

He was not meant to be forced into the position he was put into, Maheral was meant to be a role that strictly taught culture for the high elves and provided insight and wisdom when needed. Unfortunately, to meet outrageous demands and a, quite frankly, ret***ed casus belli because the person in charge was meant to be on hiatus, he had to step in because something had to be done.

Personally, I think it is a good idea for the staff team not to be allowed leadership positions without their team's admin permission. As many, not in very good faith, seek moderation or staff team permissions specifically for that. Despite popular belief, if you hold some position of OOC power, you are more likely to be looked upon favorably in RP because people will expect something out of you. If you are ST, you will get positions and otherwise in exchange for running events or making relics or MArts for the nation. If you are CT, you might get positions because you funnel new players directly to said nation. And come on, really, moderation? There are very, very few mods who I believe could actually be unbias in situations, and more often than not, either as an undertone or verbally, people want a specific mod who they may be friends with or know because they believe they will provide a favorable outcome for them.

tldr; I agree with the changes made and think mob mentality is ****ing stupid.

>Staff encourages you to report Metaplay as per the rules they set up

>Angry when someone reports blatant metaplay

Chat we are now victim blaming someone who had to worry about being banned for 3 months over roleplay (as happened in the past) and getting angry that people are upset with the perpetrator not just over the rule break but also because they suck at their job

you’re insufferable

The inherent anger and stupidity you'd need in order to slander someone else like this, especially on entirely false grounds, is pretty insane. Let's be nice to people, shall we? Please remind yourself - you're on a Minecraft Roleplay Server. It's not like someone's killed your mother.

the man broke the rules he literally wrote not long after requesting everyone to report metaplay and making a huge deal about nation leaders doing backoom dealings, with the added caveat that he wanted to add his ability as maker of the rules to change the outcome of this situation to be more beneficial to him. dude literally said "i can't rp this if i don't know the ooc outcome" then tried to give himself an offer literally no other nation has ever had access to specifically because he's the person in charge of regions and can do that. it is blatant and absurd metaplay and pex abuse from the person who, as you say, literally runs the server.

him being a "cultural guide" doesn't mean he didn't act as leadership. haelun'or's culture or order of command doesn't trump the server's rules and i don't know why you're appealing to them. also the outrageous demands are just exactly what haelun'or willingly gave to numendil when they thought they were going to get the special treatment kowa tried to get out of unwillingly lmao. what absolutely unsurmountable demands.

also why are you so angry lmao. youre in the bizarre position of agreeing that this needed to be done while also saying that reporting it is inherently bad faith. he is the man who runs metaplay bans. how do you propose they were meant to report him to himself, if not consulting other people? it was a conflict of interest. see; this post.

functionally i don't think anything in haelun'or is going to change, though. he's going to be "taking steps" to step down, who knows how long that'll take. and, as a continued conflict of interest, he is still tech admin, and a lot of the leadership of haelun'or remains tech team. he is still their boss in a system that, to many players, just seems like an admin nation for the tech team to have to themselves and do whatever they want with with no consequence, especially since the current leadership of haelun'or is explicitly allowed to continue being leadership, since they're the only members of the tech team that ARN'T required to step down. funny how that works, isn't it?

how foolish of me to think haelun'or might have a slight tech team bias.

i wonder what could've possibly given me that idea lmao. how could i possibly imagine haelun'or and tech team might somehow be interconnected...

I am a hnor player(albeit not as active) and I may have some issues with some caurost stuff but Unwillingly is not in the wrong here and she had all the rights to share these screenshots. Nor I think Hnor's playerbase is at fault. I am pretty sure this is just llir's poor decision making and no one else should be blamed. Definetely there was a lot of hnor bias regardless of whatever is said.

Um actually anyone can be a demi djinn . It's a very open CA with plenty of users. It's player accessible means

A very open CA? Really? The only very open CA is other CA's I think as I've been here on this map.

I've seen mostly Vampire, Musin, Kha, Hou-Zi, Ghost/Specter, Pale knights, Undead (there are different kinds), werevolf (even if still rare if I guess correct), automatons, and Atronach appear, as well as demons, but demi djinn, not really. I've not even heard about them ic and of what I know about them OOC is that mostly staff becomes one. I've been offered to become a vampire but not taken that, a few other common ones too, but nothing rare but that's okay.
