Helaine, Countess of Dover, pinched the crisp edges of the missive. A sly smirk soon arose from her painted lips. "Finally." The Doverian hummed, reading the contents carefully"May justice come swiftly... and may peace be brought to my household once more." - "I should reach out to Madelief." Soon thereafter, Helaine brushed her gown, venturing to the aviary with haste.

Lucien Ashford de Brionnes sharpened his blade, "Does this little kid not understand? Drusco will beat him and his hivemind ten times over, easily."  The schizophrenic murmured to himself, looking to his bastard, Andre. "Best this child like you did in the tournament, again." @terms

Cassius Mareno invests his son, Calias, with the command of the forces sworn to Myrine, as well as the fortifications of Trident's Peak.

"My son and heir: I bestow upon you mine own authority, so that redress and justice may be sought in the name of House Mareno."

Father Martin, upon receiving word of the not questionably named 'Druscan Question', side-eyes a gathering of Druscans and makes his leave. Seeing no point defending a worldly cause that isn't his own, he wasn't beholden to any noble of Drusco after all.

Captain Cornelius Fellowmere sharpened his cutlass, a passing messenger-gull delivering the missive to his hand. “So it begins...” mumbled the Baron of Codsburg, preparing to fight if necessary for the glory of the True Faith and GOD’s holy church.

"The coalitions begin; the fear we have drowned them in by the mere suggestion of oure command calls them to plot and weep together to a paltry offense. Now shall they reap an answer for why our motto heralds Blood for Ashford." The Lady Rosceline spit in conversation with her husband, her mouth sour on betrayal of Lecelina, whom she sought to sever now from all trace of blood relation.

"If Drusco cannot make pleasantries for their respect, we shall pound it into them as wounds until, at last, these foul wretches learn their place."

With that, she spun and exited, her blood rushing to behold the comfort of her chapel.

Conrad Keen, prince of the Ivori, keeps a copy of the Druscan Question pinned on the wall. The name of that heir leading him to pen a letter.

Something in the air stirs. That's for sure.

Adelaide Emmeline de Bruges read over the missive, an awry expression cascading upon her features, "Perhaps Julia and I's conversation held weight..""Though why is hath the Doverian Countess' name been mentioned, I presumed it'd been fixed perhaps I should reach out to inquire.." She mumbled, then ushering her Lady-in-wait to check on the children.

"Coalitions. Nice, long lists of signatures; this brings back old memories. Putting their Covenant studies to practice, I'd say." Aleksandr wore a gently amused smile on his aging face; reminded of his youth many decades ago now.

The confidante of the Archduchess, a lady named Julia, lingered within the courtyard of Castle Waldemer as word of that conflict's beginning arrived. As she expected, the blood of Ashford would remain loyal to that faith they had upheld for generations - a Church that had seen crowned the likes of Olivier de Savoie and Guy de Bar. Though now, she awaited the day when Roger and Rosceline's gamble might prove fruitful. For all she had earned thus far upon this war-torn land of Aevos she owed to them.

Elsewhere, a
Crow looked upon the conflict from afar. Though giving no word of support, she did pray that those who remained loyal to Sigismund's exalted memory would prevail. Such sentiments remained unspoken, however, and the efforts against the Mountain remained her foremost priority.
