Is basic human decency and at least attempting to give consistent rulings a good start then? Surely we can work out where the line in the sand should be drawn from the server's standards for player conduct and extrapolate to cover the added priveleges they have as staff.

Also, @Telanir Whatever comes of all these words, please make sure there are actual actions to follow up on the declarations of "we will make it great again I promise". If staff bias is an issue, remove the problem children. Same for OOC toxicity. If you wanna support RP and not clicks the tech upgrades should reflect that. Hell, stricter rules on nation/tile decisions needing to be made IRPly instead of in private discords would help alleviate the rampant political metagaming. Don't pander to the revolving door of leadership cliques, make the server better for the common player that doesn't have thousands of spare minas and evict pex. Oh and maybe set up some exclusivity between being staff with pex and being a realm PRO? Just... Actually do, instead of talk.

I already made my opinions known on the trend of the server to put ooc civ nation-tile PRO politics on a pedestal compared to literally Everything Else, and how the recent additions to PvP have exacerbated that issue. It's why I refuse to ever be Rex again. It's why I am currently taking a break from LotC. Roleplay has no consequences at the moment and all power to make decisions is held either OOCly, or through use of PvP plugin, or by staff. All three of these have been shown to hinder roleplay and allow for blatant bias to affect decision making. An earlier post mentioned people not willing to Leave LotC if they are unhappy... Well, they already have been! The screamers just drown out their voices. Earlier I said I was taking a small hiatus. With the recent events and decisions, or lack thereof, made by certain staff members I now genuinely believe it is for the best I leave the server behind for good. Kor'garr's story can be told elsewhere, in a place where people actually wish to weave a coherent story together as friends. Maybe that's BG3, maybe its a 5e campaign. Yet as the months have passed I find myself unwilling to even indirectly support the direction this server is taking where toxicity and discrimination are safeguarded and even encouraged, whether intentionally or not.

If a "fantasy" slur has OOC relevance or meaning it should not be used. Simple as. We have a literal universe of opportunity where make believe insults are concerned, so there is no reasonable excuse for RP characters to "by happenstance" utter phrases of IRL animosity and hatred. Be inventive and silly in coming up with something that can't be misconstrued with historical discrimination please.

Especially if the one who does so is at risk of natural PK (Tawkins users, for example) 2) What 'volumes' are required for the bell emotes? Some thoughts, after looking at the plugin! - I cannot wait for the update concerning Lapis, Redstone, Emeralds, Copper, Diamonds, etc; - The overreliance on netherite and leather is concerning and unbalanced - I would like to know if the node mines for currently unclaimed tiles will be created - Multiple people have been asking for an updated tile/resource map. - Arrow recipe is wack, maybe replace one iron with a stick?
