The Signatories agree to respect and acknowledge each other's laws, culture, as well as religion when inside each other's jurisdiction in their respective lands. They both recognize that citizens and occupants are subject to the laws in effect during visitation. The Signatories hereby agree that free passage of civilians between each other nations is to be granted. Article II: Defense The Signatories agree that no military action will be taken against any of their listed counterparts by any of their forces; this includes vassals and all endorsed factions under their jurisdiction. The Signatories will enforce a partnership between their domains and will not incite conflict among themselves or their allied forces. The Signatories pledge that they are willing to aid each other militarily if they are threatened. Should the nature of a conflict - in this case whether it is defensive or offensive - come into question or be unclear according to the assent’s agreed definition, both Signatories pledge to hold a summit in order to deliberate on a decision. They pledge to adhere to the consensus. Article III: Trade The Signatories shall be given privileged exchange of resources, goods, and economic commodities amongst their nations. The Signatories shall promise one another a tax-free stall to sell their wares. The Signatories pledge to take part in cultural exchanges between the nations’ citizens in order to broaden understanding in both domains. Texts, scrolls, knowledge, and scholars may be traded in such exchanges. The Signatories agree that Grand King Sigrun ‘Undeadslayer’ Stonehammer shall be granted free beverages of choice upon any visit to the Principality of Celia’nor. And the Principality of Celia’nor shall give The Grand Kingdom of Urguan two-hundred mina. Article IV: Darkspawn The Signatories agree to share their knowledge of any and all Darkspawn they may confront. They promise to lend any and all available resources to assist them in their fight against Darkspawn. They pledge to work together in the pursuit of this mutual goal. Article V: Duration This pact shall be in effect for twelve Saint’s Weeks. After the duration expires, the Signatories may reconvene to renew or renegotiate a new treaty. Both parties agree that if the pact is violated, then both parties shall host an immediate meeting together to attempt to resolve the issue. Due to the lack of initiative and commitment present in the modern clergy, the Grand King Sigrun ‘Undeadslayer’ Stonehammer recently removed the office of High Prophet, rendering it null and avoid, thus decentralizing the clergy and leaving authority within the small sects and cults that reside within the Grand Kingdom of Urguan All Dwedmar who possess an interest in the holy body and the Brathmordakin are therefore asked to gather as one in a formal meeting within the capital of Urguan to discuss the future of the clergy itself and what can be done to combat the decline in membership and faith within Urguan, and restore this holy institution to its former glory as the bastion of Dwarven faith. Through this meeting and the results that follow, may Urguan march ahead into an era of piety and reverence brought on by renewed vigor and faith. In an act of wisdom and a desire for peace, Grand King Sigrun ‘Undeadslayer’ Stonehammer offered the Vikelan leadership the opportunity to pay a moderate sum of 848 mina’s to the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, in order to rectify this distasteful action by the Vikela leadership. However, this generous offer was refused. Therefore the Obsidian throne puts forth these renewed demands to the Kingdom of Vikela Demands The Kingdom of Vikela shall remove itself entirely from the Highlands The Kingdom of Vikela shall not move within proximity to the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. This Proximity shall be determined by the Grand Kingdom of Urguan upon selection of land. The Kingdom of Vikela shall pay a sum of 1,000 mina’s to rectify this dishonorable act towards the Grand Kingdom of Urguan If the Kingdom of Vikela fails to meet these demands or does not respond in one stone-day, the Grand Kingdom of Urguan shall unleash the full might of its war machine to expel the Kingdom of Vikela from its claimed land. The dwarven faith is as old as our beards, having been given in prophecy to our progenitor himself; Urguan Silverbeard. Yemekar the Godsmith, the Brathmordakin and their paragons predate almost every other faith of descendants. Yet despite this prestigious pedigree, it has never had the high administrative force associated with organized religion (as found in the Church of the Cross and the Keepers of the Flame). Most recently in Urguani culture, we have had a growth of faith with the restoration of the Fourth Grand Kingdom. This growth was not however led by a single unifying force, but rather by elders from across the board fostering their own traditions across multiple different sects. In most recent years especially it has reached its zenith; and we witness nearly one in five clans claiming to have their own cult separate from the average dogma. There have been far more religious leaders of Urguan who have existed as part of cults and sects than there have been any dedicated to a unifying dogma. They have had participation in either the Hefrumm Seers, the Mountain Seers, the Rhun Oathed, the Cult of the Mask, or the Cult of Kjellos. Sometimes when I wake up in the morning, I wonder if I might start a new religious cult by accident. Therefore the office of the High Prophet shall be declared null and void, and da Kirkja Dverga shall become a council of all religious leaders of the dwarves to be presided over by the office of the Obsidian Throne.
