  1. Only happens when you're from the Barnett bloodline
  2. The Merchant Sloop is seen on the docks of the ruined settlement of Vaelya. The bandits themselves hauling supplies and their remaining cannons onto the deck of the ship. A few men are seen with sigils of the Blade and Star on their shoulders, jeers and remarks made against one another as they assemble on the ship. The flames of the ruins of Vaelya are snuffed, its innards littered in cannonshots and the horrors that came from the various groups that attempted to dislodge them. The ship is spotted sailing towards Freeport. The land of the Free and Questionable. Those that had heard of the group's own plight would now know that their sights are set on the Cloud-Splitter of the South. The Accursed Drake. [BOUNTY COMPLETED]
  3. If this isn't the Resource and War System Overwrite expansion I'll be mad.
  4. think the real issue w/ conflict on this server is the people who preach dynamism are normally those who refuse anything bad to happen to them by any ooc means possible.

@Burnsider See, I don't really believe in playing to lose because a lot of people are negative energy even if you do lose. I don't, however, usually kill the person I'm in conflict with anymore unless they're doing something *really* dumb or being a skyrim bandit npc where you beat them down and they cower then try to backstab or w/e. I think its more fun for both sides if you let them live, maybe take a finger or something at most, unless they're some serial killer or w/e where it doesn't make sense to let them live.

  6. - WARNING - Heavy Firepower has been spotted with these 'Brigands'. They seem to be in possession of two Vaelyian Lead Belchers. The sounds of these horrific machines of war have stained the battlefields to groups that have come past. Small, marked graves now litter the sides of the city as bandits lay their dead to rest. Any attempts at negotiations with this group will most likely be met with resistance from the constant aggressions. They have bunkered down and become a force to be reckoned with.
  7. Currently impossible to make personal nodes at the very moment. It requires heavy dev attention and with that, botany nodes will have people get a stack a day individually, where we could be producing 40 stacks herbs a day by a nation that wants to go around doing that. There's alot of bad things about personal nodes, so it's really us trying to decide where to go from here.
  8. we were about to monopolise it for solely ST items but here you are ruining our staff hoard and giving it to the masses
  9. looking for dwarf/orenian et-st interested in applying for the st

  10. Heed heed, all ambitious adventurers. Our company has been scouting out the areas of Vaelya to clean up the rubble left by the settlement that collapsed upon the shores. Their marble towers crumble and we wish to excavate these ruins to benefit our own enterprises. The lovely materials left in this town would be a benefit for us to be able to deal with, but these squatters have been seen picking off our caravans and otherwise occupying the abandoned village. We are looking for those who are not of the faint of heart to drive them out of this area, violence is encouraged but you can do whatever you wish to ensure that they leave. Upon a clear visible evacuation of the area, we will reward those who do this with 100 mina for their troubles. They are violent, ill-equipped and seemingly barbaric. So caution is advised. They have enough numbers to rival small forces, so if you are planning to enact the justice necessary upon them, be prepared and do not have a queasy stomach. We await the completion of this contract, for Almaris. For the Greater Good. - Reginald P. Antsworthy, Excavator Extraodinaire, Head of the Almarian Masonry and Construction Guild (The AMC) Bounty - Objective - Remove the Bandit Threat by any means possible Location - The ruins of Vaelya Reward - 100 Minas upon a successful removal of the threats in the camp Difficulty - Medium. Forces will struggle if not prepared and not planned. These foes know how to fight dirty and will drag them down with you if you corner them like rats.
  11. just a normal ca as it has been for the past 5 years. You'll probably need to hire a Bitcoin Skinner to get you a Kha skin. Or the dude that kinda leads them can help @chaosgamer_
  12. seeing "ill give you atronach forging for infernal alchemy" mages be elitist makes me feel something different

  17. why would players stay if we can't even get our "lead" admin to stay for more than a week active lol We've got a long journey if we want to pull ourselves out of the dark recesses of the inevitable slow burn and decline of LotC
  18. stars aint that deep tho technically does this mean this magic is siphoning aengudaemonic energy since the stars are realms and the remnants of past aengudaemons?????
  19. this makes us look extremely unfunny please take this down or I'll dmca your builds under Tythus LTD.
  20. This lore has been denied. Contact me personally on discord @ joel#4235 to discuss the outcome of this.
  21. concept isnt too bad, its execution is something that has it struggle to stand up as a piece on its lonesome. i'll get back to you about this stuff when we start tackling aengudaemonica and rewriting/organising the pantheon
  22. yeah duh it wasn't because of anything else at all
  23. This is complete Barnett Slander and I will not stand for such defamation. To really answer and address why we shelf. It's really a big thing on perspective and having things set up for the future. In the perspective of those higher up, if they see that we have four different open CA races that contribute a grand total of "5" players to the server, they will see any future CA's as invalid and will ensure that they are not able to be implemented. All because what is the point of adding more if the current ones have absolutely no playtime or impact on the server. It really makes any future creatures start with a massive disadvantage in getting implemented because they see that such a substantial effort to implement these CA's yields little to no value to the community as a whole. (Snelves were removed because it was a decision that should've been reverted years ago + origins that made no sense and ppl don't care about. And people still RP as snelves because not much has changed except them not being Wyvurn mutants).
  24. This is a post I knew that was coming and really didn't want to acknowledge it. Talking between each other and screaming how we'd both quit was really just a veiled attempt to keep contact with you. I appreciate you as being essentially one of my first 'RP' mentors in the White Rose and LotC as a whole. You and Paul essentially created my enjoyment of roleplay and crafted me into the roleplayer and writer that I am today. I still remember that 15 year old me was annoying the **** out of you to try and learn how to blacksmith under Arkus before I got gacked and team-killed over some drama. (Was when I first learned to PK too lol) Working with you has been a great experience for me and the team as a whole. You bring the fun in documentation and the ability to let people flourish on their own creative pursuits no matter what. We have very stark differences when it comes to a majority of things but we overall agree with the same goal for this server, its just a shame that we never both got to step up and really drive that goal home together before everything blew over. You owe me a nice dinner and I owe you a good night out when you come back down to Melbourne, the hilarity of knowing that you could've potentially served me food once makes me laugh and reminisce on a variety of things. Mainly my hatred for Heero and what I believed he did to corrupt my poor rolemodel back in the day. Overall I really hope we stay in touch no matter what, even without this server I hope to play games occasionally and keep you updated with everything. Okay, now I need to actually answer this thread with some questions. 1. If you could change the thematic direction of Paladins, what would your 'perfect' version look like? 2. What do you regret about the Setherien Eventline? 3. Your favourite cut of meat and why? (To cook AND to eat) 4. If you could alter one 'event' or big moment in LotC's history (RP wise), what would you change?
