As is currently canon, the Aengudaemonic beings all came into existence through the same manner. Why is it that Lyes would be so intrinsically tied to her realm and the dreams she create and only able to interact with the mortal plane this way, whereas the other Aengudaemons don't follow that rule? Why is she different?

But the Aspects aren't the original creators of the mortal that became the Tree Lord. The character you are roleplaying was not made by the Aspects, simply transformed by their influence.

The Lore Team's official stance on Fae is as follows: A 'Fae' is any creature that the Aspects created that is inherently magical. This means 'transformed' things like Tree Lords and even Dryads are not considered Fae, but things like Sprites are.

Your brand-new post details an argument, but from my understanding of Gladuos' post, the lot of you were under the impression for some time that they were indeed Fae. So I'm just trying to get to the bottom of why you all thought this. Anyways... I don't think they should be Fae. We'll confer as a team about this and get back to the thread.

I'm unsure why you ever assumed you were Fae, because I can't find a bit of lore that promotes that idea. Until I, myself, spotted a player with their race set that way I'd never even caught wind of the fact people believed Tree Lords were Fae. I hope this clarifies things though!

Now that I have you good and clickbaited, it's time to hang my hat and sadly announce the departure of Medeusculors from our canon lore. Originally introduced by a member of our Lore Team, we will now see it out the door after a recent vote where we almost unanimously decided it wasn't a piece of lore fit for the server and brought about far, far more problems than it solved, and that we would be shelving it indefinitely. All Medeusculors will no longer function in roleplay: they aren't wiped from anyone's memory or existence, the things just won't fire anymore. Thanks for the understanding, and have a happy day.

There's no 'nod' to arcane puppetry. In fact, as far as I'm aware, this was carefully crafted to avoid the glaring and prevalent issues with puppetry and the powergaming that's occurred with it in the past. To place yourself in the 'mind of an atronach' isn't a difficult feat. They're artificial. They have rather base functions. While it is said they develop a degree of free will, that is all within the relatively narrow context of their mental capabilities and how their """brains""" work isn't difficult to understand and is even a sort of pre-requisite to the higher tiers of atronach creation. This ability is limited entirely to telekinesis-made atronachs and is moreso a linking of the physical and mental through the willpower of the telekinetic and is by no means a stretch of the possibilities of telekinesis and atronachs.

I mean, I suppose that makes a degree of sense-- your biological parts and those organs degenerating into your new... wood-y sappy-ness over a period of time. If given a rational timeframe, that's something I'd agree with.

That would, in my opinion, be the best way to go about it. I'm just saying that moving forward a lot of wires are being crossed to a confusing point if soul-tree'd people can make babies.
