Happy New Year! The post is up!

Change of plans! The New Years update will be posted at midnight 0 GMT, 4 and a half hours from now!

Continuation from last status update - Step 3: Finalize changes with the GM team. Check. Step 4: Prepare public announcement post. In process!

Yes, the server crashed. Yes, I am trying to bring it back online. However, it seems to be in an endless loop of "The server is restarting..." (I tried to "restart" it after it crashed). In addition to this, Tythus, Telanir, and Sporadic are all offline. We may be waiting for a while.

Something hopefully greatly beneficial to the server is on its way once I receive all of the admin responses. :)

The dynamap now has a tab at the top of the webpage.

College preparation is done. I'm free!

I think some people just need to put a little more trust in the staff. I don't say that lightly, though, as I know how hard that may be. However, we are watching to see how our changes roll out. Things are never smooth to start off, but we will know more when they have been in affect for a couple of weeks (at least). We don't make decisions and then force you to endure them forever -- if they suck, we will adjust that decision or revert it completely. Don't worry guys!

A productive GM meeting is on the horizon.

Can someone PM me valid reasons as to why the main antagonist may suck, and how to improve them? We changed up our approach drastically today and I don't see what went wrong. We've done the same before and were praised for it.

I will be returning to full activity starting tomorrow. Glad to be back. :)

Truth statement of the year: I haven't banned a player from the server for slightly over 9 months. Proof that there are other ways to teach naughty players a lesson without removing them from Lord of the Craft.

Antag magic is beautiful. :)

Just for the record, the antagonist side did not use any buffs, enchants, or effects. If anything, the "good" side had buffs (brews). I'm simply tired of hearing from people that the antagonist used buffs.
