    I can't figure out how to convert a steve skin to an alex skin. Why do they have separate templates? qq Could anyone help?

      Alex is missing a pixel in the arm, instead of 4x4 it's 3x3. it can't be converted, only manually removing a pixel section I believe.

    I haven't been able to figure out how the alex skins work. Could someone help convert a skin for me?

      A steve skin can become an alex skin when you upload the skin at minecraft.net click alex player model and it will do it automatically, I can walk you through it if you need.
