      Just finished up a farseer spirit walk and am now talking to an arcanist about the mental stability of mages. It's out there man, just need to know where to look, explore other places aside from what you're used to - you will notice the differences, I assure you.

    People should refrain from making applications with the old ''Shady people killed my parents'' cliche. Infact, they shouldn't mention their parents but simply where they came from. Furthermore, they should try to make a peasent character with a normal profession instead of the bandit and thief cliches we see all the time. We should be harsher on applicants overall.

      Meh I did that with one of my characters because I started her as a 5 year old orphan (there was no one to play her parents). Once a new person is actually on the server and sees how cliche it is they'd probably refrain from using that backstory on future chars. But I can relate to someone not knowing what to expect and just trying to make a character and get their feet wet on the server.

      IDK if people don't realize this, but peasant characters aren't played generally because they aren't as interesting to play as 'edgy' characters. And it isn't as black and white as peasant normal vs edgy. There are varying degrees of both.
