      I suggest leveling any sand hills that are a block or two in height. It will still look natural, as long as you don't hit sandstone

    So a lot of my newly placed furnaces refuse to work. just taking the coal but not cooking the cobble

      Make sure to stay close, an you have Three stacked on top of each other. any higher and they eat the coal like candy.
