  1. double alaskan bull worm leggooooooooooo

  2. *begins planning double worm end-of-map antag*
  3. Will you accept residents of Norseth'onn into the club?
  4. D&D Club is now visible so feel free to request access (**** me I hope this link works)

    1. DarkElfs

      DarkElfs

Does this club actually try to do dnd online or this just a group of dnd lovers?

Either way sounds fun to me though

  5. Don't like tinfoil hats? Wanna talk about stupid D&D **** instead? Well hit me up and I'll add you to D&D club, since I messed up and had it made private instead of closed so I have to manually invite every person.

  6. Go for it, though no promises that you will change the minds of the lore folks :P
  7. I know ****'s blowing up right now, but if you like D&D at all, I made a D&D club. Anyone can join as long as you're genuinely interested, even if you think I'm ****.

  8. Name of the club: D&D Club What type of club is it? (Public, Private): Private (I don't really plan to deny people, but if folks take the piss out of it, I'd like to be able to boot them) What is the theme of this club? (Politics, group, etc.): Games Why should this club be created? What is the purpose of this club? Does it add something not already fulfilled by an existing club?: To get LotCers who enjoy D&D together. It's fun ****. Who will moderate this club?: Me I guess. I'm also pretty okay with FMs doing it. Do you understand that failure to moderate your own club to their respective rules can result in FM interventions?: Yup, I am also fine with FM intervention. Are there any exemptions to the rules that you would like, if so why? (N/A if open club or none needed.): To be able to post slightly more mature stuff related to D&D if it ever gets relevant. Nothing 18+, but if someone links some art that's a bit scantily clad for D&D characters, or links an episode of critical role where folks go to a brothel or something, I'd rather that not get flagged.
  9. This lore will remain in pending for up to two weeks. After this time, if it is not ready for a secondary review, it will be denied. For one, several LT felt that Zer0's lore (currently not denied) is more robust, and better than this version of sprite lore. Regarding the addition of sprouts, these seem largely alright, though they could be clarified. Some would prefer sprites to be made ET creatures, though this is not something we will force, given that they already exist as player creatures.
  10. This lore will remain in pending, and you will be able to make edits for two weeks. If edits have not been made for a secondary review, then this lore will be denied. The mana silk should be edited, as metal doesn't have any special ability to be enchanted. Most don't feel that zephonim needs a form of disconnection, or that one even makes sense. Likewise, the debuffs for zephonim who practice non-withering magics seem needless, as they both don't get the non-withering, and get an additional penalty of hemophilia. Some felt the addition of broodmother was unnecessary, whilst others felt it was a good addition.
  11. This lore will remain in pending, and you will be able to make changes for the next two weeks. If changes are not made for a secondary review by then, this lore will be denied. There isn't any reason to introduce disconnection into this magic. Most also found it problematic to shift a magic currently widely known as being a dark magic, to being a neutral magic, and that previously when a rewrite was determined to be necessary, we felt the non-dark version ought to be removed rather than the dark version. Silencing without OOC consent should be for a shorter period of time, and permanent silencing should be able to be reverted with a minimum time they must fulfill (if someone gives OOC consent to be permanently silenced, but changes their mind, they must submit to the silencing for a minimum period, but not permanently). Also, draining 50% of passive mana was deemed an issue, as one could theoretically do this from literally anything, like rocks and frogs. Likewise, sensing other magics has been removed from all other magics, and shouldn't be present here. Redirecting should not allow for mana to be given to people. Admittedly, different LT had different issues with the lore, and thus it is plausible that the lore could pass with some but not all listed changes. It might be easiest to include a changelog if changes are made, so LT can see if their preferred balances are made or not.
  12. This lore will remain in pending, so you may make changes in the next two weeks. If it is not ready to be reviewed again at that time, it will be denied. There are contradictions between this piece and voidal horror lore. Likewise, it doesn't make sense for them to be immune to voidal magic when voidal horrors are susceptible to voidal magics. Likewise, players shouldn't be able to make them, or probably have them generally. They could make a good event creature, potentially. Work on the origins some more, we would suggest.
  13. This lore requires changes, and will remain pending for two weeks. If it does not receive necessary edits for a secondary review by then, it will be denied. We really like making ents ET only. That being said, entlings should be weakened. Also, there is an issue saying that lore holders would get control of existing ents in some way, as lore holders are merely knowledgeable representatives on pieces of lore, and do not hold any power over lore pieces. Some felt it a bit odd that ents would be player-made, ET-played creatures, something we had an issue with when a similar clause was included in a MArt. Some felt that making entlings autonomous was a problem, and that a proper balance would be removing their autonomy but shortening the summoning time.
  14. This lore has been denied. While not everyone was a huge fan of this lore, it is better suited for our Creature Index. Please submit it there instead.
  15. This lore has been denied. There were a fair few issues with this one. One of the big ones is that an apparition couldn't really overpower an Aengul. Likewise, the idea that lore could be written to confirm an ICly developed religion was seen to be problematic by some, especially when other attempts to do so for humans have been denied in the past. The magic also lacks proper limitations and seems a bit OP, and would need to be defined better across the board. Apparitions wouldn't realistically be capable of granting many if any of these powers listed. There aren't a whole lot of weaknesses, either. If I were to make a suggestion, I would rewrite this involving some opportunistic Aengul or Daemon (which you might have to introduce) utilizing the existing Norlandic religion to its own ends, pretending to be the All-Father for its own benefit. This, paired with a more balanced set of abilities, and the opportunity for this opportunistic deity to find others who might utilize its gifts as well, could potentially prove to be an acceptable piece of magic lore that still suits your needs.
  16. This lore has been denied. The taint wasn't well defined. The weaknesses were not defined. Some felt using dead flesh to create parasites and other things was problematic. Some felt it was bland and didn't offer much. It essentially seems like an afflicted rewrite with aspects of necromancy or dark shamanism added. Parts of the team are not averse to an afflicted rewrite, but not this one. Also, it seems to directly take something from the Berserk canon. http://evil.wikia.com/wiki/Behelit
  17. This lore has been denied. It was deemed problematic that elementalists could suddenly purge all spectrals, especially without any real reasoning for why that makes sense being given. Also, while this might just be odd wording, the lore seems to imply that all dark arts comes from the font. It's cryptically worded, and seems to intend to sneak in things. Likewise, an object like this could be submitted as a MArt.
  18. This lore has been denied. There are several issues present here. For one, the addition of healing has been seen as an issue. Dropping to tier one after a week of inactivity is also problematic. There are some other buffs seemingly snuck in as well, including T5s not needing a puppet to cast, letting Archons use it, etc. Multiple connections to a single puppet was also raised as an issue. All in all, the piece was a bit difficult to follow, somewhat inconsistent, and gave the magic too many abilities.
  19. This alreayd looks like it's going to prove to be a mistake, though I'll have fun with it in the meantime. Also, you gotta make it so the threads don't show up on the Latest Topics sidebar.
  20. Regarding people saying that it makes no sense to not let people join mid-RP fight, how the heck can you say that? Half an hour of RP fighting is probably enough actions for somewhere between ten and thirty seconds in real time. The idea would be that the fight would complete well before the characters who would otherwise join actually got there, were there not this weird, impossible-to-avoid disconnect between how quickly players can emote and how time passes. You're not seeing your close friend be attacked, you're not seeing your friend get attacked at all because the fight lasted a minute RPly and even though you're there mechanically, there's no reasonable justification for letting you join with that fact in mind.
  21. Server's back up, sorry about that.
