Considering I see many people RPly executed for dumb reasons. Like if I went into the Raevir and had a conversation about the creator and one of the zealots there took somthing the wrong way and I was executed for being a heretic. On a year old character. It wouldn't feel too well. All in all Perma death shouldn't be forced. It should be the players decision. And a good rper will know the right time when their character should die. But they shouldn't be forced into it.

I quite like the idea. Of an lotc ghost busters :P I personally feel there should be another holy type of magic on the server. The statement of "It is just War cleric magic reskinned" isn't quite true considering they are different and you can't really have much of a difference in holy magic. Considering it basically all does the same thing... But I do think there should be another magic for it. I like the idea so I will give a +1.. Though perhaps making the aura/energy a darker color? Would be interesting to see a holy magic with a darker shaded color, it would break the stereotype of Dark=Evil which isn't quite true. Though regardless that is simply an idea. Keep up the good work Piercing.

Essentially for about 5 months now after being sent into 2 rifts and then observing harbingers use their magic to form rifts my character has been studying and researching it and forming plans as to how it can be achieved. I just wanted to know in the post if it is possible. The step by step he has made for this first attempt is Essentially meditating first And clearing his mind just focusing on what he is creating no other thoughts. Then to picture an area he knows well and can tell the area from the sights, smells and noises of the area into a extremely vivid thought. Then projecting the thought in this case it is a mountain peek next to the peek he is currently atop of which he has a visual and has been studying for a few months ICly. Then after picturing the image he forms a type of door or rift which is a type of shortcut to the area and another door would open up elsewhere from where this one is set. His first idea was drawing a location on a piece of paper then drawing another on the other side of the paper. Then scrunching it up so the distance is cut down from ten feet which is the distance the ohter peak is. To 1 foot away which would mean appearing on the other side of the peak. And this is essentially what the rift he theorized would do by compacting a large sum of his mana and projecting it towards the point of interest infront of him But this is all theory. I just wanted to know if it was possible. -Sidenote just wanted to say that what he is doing would be very extensive and a large sum of his mana is being used to the point of possible fainting or very bad exhaustion. And he has no intention of using the rift or walking inside. He simply is using it as a first test to kick off his series of testing later on by refining the idea of it fails. And to see what actually happens by doing this. But he has been studying for a long while ICly, and takes a lot of my time OOCly though this is the first time he is actually doing the finished process he came up with.))

Why?

Looks cool. Though why not go as far to say that in their normal forms they are physically weak? Due to the constant change in muscle. They are commonly weakened in their normal forms and cannot preform hard labor. Similiar to a mages body. This would be a good con. To keep them balanced.
