Looks great! I love the names. One piece of feedback I would give is to not have  forests on each side of a mountain range due to the Rain Shadow effect, basically it means that mountains usually get rain on one side and block it from reaching the other causing a more desert area. That being said, you might have your own fantasy environment which would explain your map. Keep on mapping :D

If you mean an actual map I think Haense used to have people who made cute custom ones. Unsure if they still do or if the person still even plays. Twitter might be a good place to look for artists tho

If you mean artistic maps, I've recently started doing top downs and isometrics for D&D campaigns.

Enforce a system where you only have a certain amount of lives. If you die too much, both in pvp and crp, you must pk. Stops people from being heroic real quick

Honestly if you don't push it and don't do silly things your characters barely die. Like, none of my characters ever died - besides those I actively sent into their own death.

But that's because my characters value their own life and don't raise the sword thinking they can win alone against two people. No smart person would take up a fight against an enemy without outnumbering them in a world where frost witches, powerful mages, undead and other kinds of creature commonly run around.

You've always been in Hnor right? Its definitely been far more of a cesspool in the past for human nations. 2012-2014 you would have people literally show up at each other's houses after doxxing them. One person was stalked onto a train to have their picture taken by another lotcer. People would ddos each other even up until 2018-2019 when the booting sites were taken down or w/e happened. Hnor might not have been exposed to it but the server has been in a far far worse state than it is right now. Actual death threats, pizzas sent to houses, would not be surprised if people were swatted. 

OOC schemes have anyways been the backbone of human rp, though I cannot speak for elven or other rp.

I always come back to Haelun'or, but I've been around since Aegis, was with Courland for a few years too. I agree with what you're saying, but the spirit of the server has changed. That kinda stuff went on back then but never really affected the larger server, whereas now, all of this "I don't like your community, I'm going to destroy them" shit is mainstream.

Twi's big mistake was that she never tried to take over Haelun'or RP'ly, it was always just "Give me what I want or die". She never RP'd with us outside of that. She went about it the completely wrong way and aligned herself with the wrong people.

Also, everyone has OOC aims and schemes. The difference between what Twi did and your average OOC plotter is that Twi was hellbent on destroying the Haelun'orian community, as was Kiwi, as was Ryan, and this - is what the staff appears to have taken issue with.

Well, I'd like to see Nor'asath crumble, doesn't mean I will act on it in RP. It's just gonna happen eventually anyway. (Atleast with the current 'leadership')

I dunno if this is widely known or not, but I remember when I was on WT some pastes would be far more complex and time consuming than others. We even had to take the entire server down to do some. Perhaps the difference is in that? I am not sure, of course, but try to be understanding to the staff. It's a tough job.

@DisheartenedAbsolutely, my only gripe is that we've had a warclaim declared on us whilst actively being in one, essentially stun-locking us, whilst at the same time being told that we could paste our new build in, only now to be told that we're not allowed to. It's the lack of consistency that bothers me.

@TrueProfessor or when proof of someone being racist or an unironic stalker IRL is found it is sometimes swept under the rug while someone saying something slightly mean is given two warning points.

@camocat9Therein lies the upside to Elves. When you get bored, shelf them, come back when you have fresh ideas or whatever. I never would have played my character all this time straight without breaks; it's the fact I can fall back on an extensively developed character when I encounter some kind of roadblock.
