Woke up, and it donned on me that most cases of Admins stepping down, especially in recent times, have been a direct result of some scandal or integrity-destroying event that ultimately leads to their removal through Telanir and or an Admin-Vote. Now, I’m rather curious if there’s ever going to be a change on that, will the players ever have a say? Or will we just have to wait for another scandal or intervention for notably ineffective members of the Admin-Team to be removed? Is anyone interested in a community-vote on the matter, a democratic decision made not just by four – five individuals, but instead each member of the Admin’s respective staff team? Is there already such procedure in place? I feel like a topic on the forums may be just what we need.

I doubt you could keep any admins around if you just had to do thing to survive votes to remove you constantly. You have to do things that are unpopular for the good of the server and we would be just worried about PR and keeping people happy. Might sound cynical coming from an admin but must people don’t really understand if an admin is doing a good job or not and definitely most would vote to remove after every little bit of drama. LotC is also not a democratic community, but a minecraft server developed through volunteer cooperation by the staff and the server owner. None of us have to play at the end of the day and we choose how we engage with it.

the real villian here is flam. imagine if the admin incharge of oversight on the ST and LT had an active role in seeing things through? if flam had any professional integreity, he would’ve been actively working with the admins to ensure the issues that forced mystery and korvic to create a skunk-works operations just to get athera operational. telanir is one issue, but to see an admin who should work in the benefit of the players sit on his ivory throne, well, metaphors aside hes got a god complex and no desire to help out. someone thats fond of clinging onto a red-tag for the sake of it is far worst in every way then telanir could be

Anyone remember the player with the IGN of “Syndicate”? I am unsure if that was the full name, though I remember he was an Aegis player back in the day, and came back toward the end of Atlas only to leave once more.
Looking to get back in contact, as I lost his Discord some time ago. Cheers. -

Support the Event-Team, and in turn you support the following: Creative-Freedom, Proper Events, Proper Event-Builds, and an active Lead that won’t piss on the entire community by leaving it in the dark for literal months on end. -

What are you?

PSA: Admins shouldn't deliberately ignore players and other staff for months on end just because:
A) they don't want to associate with them,
B) they don't want to do their job.
It's wack, ya' know? Being in a position of power on a Minecraft server and then neglecting specifc parts of the community specifically based on your own personal agenda and bias. Wack. I can get if you're busy, but come on, we know who you are and just you're ignoring us most of the time, abbil.

Maybe an unpopular opinion: Staff shouldn't let their own personal vendetta and bias influence roleplay and development- specifically who can and can't participate in specific positions of mineman 'power.'

Now, go out, into the world, and kill every city in all the realms. This is the will of the Aspects.
