  1. [!] A letter would be delivered by a courier to all notice boards in response to Father Basil Moroul. A Response to Falsities TO BASIL MOROUL, AND CONCERNED CITIZENS, The King and I, along with other members of our Council, have taken to reading the results of your investigation. While we were supportive of your most recent work where you mentioned that you found us to be a civil and welcoming folk, we feel that this new report has been concluded on unsubstantiated rumours that were fed to the Church by the Kingdom of Orenia’s government. You neglect to mention that Imperial State Army officers had, with no evidence, already accused us of kidnapping the High Pontiff with no apparent forethought on the truth involved. Not only did they accuse us of this, they had also managed to deceive the officers of the Haeseni Royal Army to rally their men against us as well. Luckily, the Kingdom of Haense were able to realise the error and pulled away their army. Knowing the prejudices of the Imperial leadership, there is no doubt that they would try accusing us for associating with terrorists again as they have done many times before. As someone who previously worked in the Imperial Ministry of Justice, I can say that I am knowledgeable on who the Resistance against Oren are as a group. On top of their destructive activities, they are also responsible for the death of countless innocents which I suppose is a reflection of the wartime barbarism that their nation takes part in. When the King’s Council was determining potential allies for the punitive war that we now find ourselves in, the Resistance against Oren was initially discussed in our meetings. When I brought up their atrocities and unpredictable nature to the rest of the King’s Council, who had previously not known about their activities, we were all swift to agree that we would have no part in colluding with them nor have any association to them. This is a sentiment that we all still agree to to this day. While we have been taking notice of any possible international terrorists and undercover hostile soldiers that enter our borders for quite some time, we have not discovered the presence of the Resistance Against Oren in our lands. Even though the Greyspine Convention, which we are eager to follow, does not have a clause of extraditing non-Norlandic citizens, we are more than willing to work alongside the Kingdom of Haense to capture and extradite any Resistance members in our territories on the condition that the members in question are individually responsible for participating in violence against the Canonist clergy and their places of worship rather than by association. We will not involve ourselves against individuals of the Resistance that conduct attacks on legitimate targets such as military infrastructure. We have no wish to intervene on rebellious Imperial citizens that have resentment for their barbaric government. It is quite frankly, not our problem. Father Basil Moroul, despite the disagreements you’ve had in the past with members of our government, you have shown yourself to be a credible individual dedicated to your faith. Do not let the Imperial government, with political prejudice in their hearts, deceive those in Horen’s camp. If I’ve properly retained my knowledge on Canonist literature, Oren’s government would be the modern Saul. To make it clear, the Kingdom of Norland condemns the members of the Resistance against Oren that target religious institutions and vulnerable individuals, including innocent women and children. We are not supporting, nor are we harbouring, the Resistance. Any who claim otherwise are spouting deceit in an attempt to vilify us. 2. "Spoken exactly how a true leader should in times like these." Arthas would state affirmingly before welcoming home the valiant soldiers that made the trek from Varhelm and Elysium to Oren's Bastille and back. "Iron from Ice, you all fought bravely!"
  3. Arthas II would smile the sun's smile at the priest's telling of Norlandic hospitality, "We're not as bad as we're made out to be. It's good to see that progress is being made to ensure that innocents aren't being harmed. However, it doesn't do true justice for the people who actually massacred Elysium.." he would state matter-of-factly.
  4. Anders Kortrevich would huff upon being shown the slanderous column by his cousin, "It seems that someone is disappointed that nobody approached them and needs to slander everyone to make up for it. They are likely not even Edlervik anyway.. given that they have not used the Sigmundic Calendar." He would continue a prayer to Godan as he signs the Lorraine in his unfurnished bedroom.
  5. sandk1ng, nothing more needs to be said
  6. "We can only hope that the Canonist Church acknowledges the atrocities committed in Elysium by the Orenian Kingdom and that those involved are punished in accordance to Canonist Law." Arthas pauses for a moment, wiping the tears off with the back of his hand as he cradles his sleeping child in his arms, sniffling, "Hopefully the Church are able to separate from the Imperial politics." He would lay his child down in his makeshift crib, scribing into his journal as a tear would drop to the corner of the page, "On the other hand, it's good to see that the Duke was able to escape unscathed enough to release the truth..."
  7. Arthas Ruric gives a thumbs up.
  8. Today I'm learning that people do not know how to use the section of the website that shows the staff members and what teams they're in

      Thank you Crevel, I appreciate you being a man of reason

  9. The problem with the Picrew avatar makers is that if you try making a guy, they will always look feminine to some extent. It's a decent website, but you can tell that it's primarily for feminine characters.
  10. Try making this if you have the spare time over the next month or so. I've had the same head (babyfaced af) for my Norland skin since it was first created and I've been switching out the uniforms with ones I get RPly or find on PMC. It'd be nice to have a new skin, outfit and head, as he almost starts to age into his 60s. You can get creative about what he looks like below the thighs.
  11. ((No hate below, bloody good song though mate! I remember first hearing it in Bridge to Terabithia.. sad but good movie.)) The delusioned but earnest Sir Charles Galbraith would find that the contents of the Ministry of Justice bunk had been rendered empty yet chooses to speak to the empty room regardless. If the Solicitor-General comes out of his delusion and investigates the bunk, he would ascertain that the bunk has not been lived in for longer than a Father's week. Perhaps Mister Edvardsson-Ruric had already handed in his resignation before moving his things out.. an investigation for another time perhaps. @sergisala
  12. Summoning of the Norlandic Citizenry Issued 2nd of Malin’s Welcome, Year 21 of the Second Age TO THE CLANS, CITIZENS OF NORLAND, AND ALLIES, It is more than fair to say that our Kingdom has been wronged in the past, and continues to be wronged in the present by foreign forces. Our, not only fair but reasonable, attempts at seeking reparations and an apology for the damages have gone unanswered. Therefore, the Throne summons all citizens of the Kingdom to Varhelm’s Palace to hear the direction that the nation will be taking in the coming years. We also humbly request that our allies in the Iron Accord and Krugmar are also present. Our direction is as important to our friends just as much as it is to our citizens. Just because someone is a girl and semi-attractive, it doesn't mean you need to simp over them. Prostitution and fetish roleplay classify as ERP and are both strictly against the rules. Furthermore, they are expected to learn that when they read the rules before they start playing or right after. Defending someone who participates in that sort of roleplay puts you on the same level as the same people you mock for ERP. Most, if not all, of the people defending her were simping over her in the Orenian Ministry of Justice discord before she was banned anyway so it's pretty yikes. I'm prepared to get blacklisted from the MoJ discord now.

      @DrakeHaze.
      I wouldn't say that I'm on the side of sexism. I'm on the side of the rules. There's no problem with someone being in the adult entertainment industry OOC, but if they break the roleplay rules regarding sexual content they're going to be punished accordingly the same as anyone else. If people want to simp, all power to them. Simps become a problem when the person they worship breaks rules and the simps rally in their support which in this case is spreading misinformation and setting up strawman arguments like players in the adult industry being targeted.

  16. The short, Grigory Grubb, clad in his vest with buttons, would put forth his proposal in writing. He strikes a witty smile at the parchment, his feet freshly washed in the Bramblebury Bath House, and his breath smelling of mint. "Well.. Mistah Sperkeh Barrowlord Biggun... prob'leh wit' ter poin'y ears as well. I go' qui' a range of apples t'at ye would fin' very yummeh. I am willin' to negot'ate fer yer spookeh relic t'at I can mehk fewd wit'." Completing his letter, he would stick it to the side of a snail using sticky honey before sending it off with his arms crossed in satisfaction. If the snail somehow found its mark with no instruction, Grigory Grubb would be the happiest man that holds the height of a young human child.
  17. The Rænrland Decree Issued 19th of the Amber Cold, Year 20 of the Second Age TO THE CLANS AND CITIZENS OF NORLAND, It is with great pleasure that the Kingdom of Norland announces an expansion of its official borders. From this day forward, the Kingdom of Norland shall assert its direct rule over the mountains and green lands to our south, encompassing the southernmost banks of Lake Eada, the Rænr Mountains and waterways to its south and east along the shores of the newly-named Lake Hakon. The Borders of the Kingdom of Norland, as of the Year 20 SA By decree of the Crown, these lands shall henceforth be known as the Rænrland. Further, in the interest of developing these lands for the benefit of the Kingdom, the King shall be extending the opportunity to acquire holdings in these new territories, firstly to the recognized Clans of the Kingdom and then, eventually, to other enterprising citizens at a later date.
