  1. Queen Sofia of Hyspia had these new tomes delivered to her daughters nursery, in which she sat by her crib, words hummed out as she read the newly created tales to the baby Isabel.
  2. The Queen Sofia read over the new Edict, and she felt her heart swell with delight. She was a firm believer of all being equal, and her gaze slipped over the sweet baby Isabel within her crib as the child slept soundly, a palm settling over her stomach once more with a quiet hum. "Don't ever let anyone tell tu who tu are, mi Isabella, tu are equal always, mi Hija." She settled a kiss against her childs forehead, before moving to find her husband to give him a kiss as well!
  3. Queen Sofia found that her sweet daughter, sweet being relative as she's been screaming the ears off of nannies and maids alike all through the night, seemed to have a fascination with Horses! She belatedly wondered if this had to do with her husbands shenanigans at the debut the Saints day prior, in which her step-son Stefan rode in on his father donned in a horse costume. Sofia, though, tried her best to wipe that very image from her mind.
  4. Via Weiss is proud of her fiancee! Though, she wonders what he inspects. The windows, maybe?
  5. I loved each and every moment of that, and the women's movement part is powerful as heck, man!
  6. Bren, or Dell as she knows him was certainly right! Via botched the recipe even with clearly written instructions. Something bubbled, and smoked, dark plumes drifting up from the pot as somehow the tomato basil soup turned a sickly green.
  7. Via Weiss, local combat medic, approves this message!

  9. A certain Lady Arabella who has been enjoying visiting those of this culture finds herself wishing for Vaelaris Moules when she was on her latest travels. The delicately grilled food, that smoky flavor with a citrus tang.. She sighed, head bowing. She really must visit again soon.
  10. A certain Lady Viktoria is pleased her fashion is up to date within that of the Vaskan Steppe. Ribboned hair, bright colored dresses and otherwise! As the missive went out, though, she immediately went to find her mother. "Mamej, can y get a new dress? To symbolize moy fashion!"
  11. The heavily pregnant Queen Sofia stepped foot within their new capital, the city of Valdev. She took in each sight, the high peaks of the basilica and the sweet scented gardens of the palace and felt tears well. A new home. At last.
  12. The Queen Sofia took in these varying artworks with a degree of loss and homesickness. She thinks back to her families lands of Hyspia, and the short time she spent living with her husband in the Morrivi palace before the Mori had taken over. All sweet, and all yet bitter.
  13. Sofia took in her husbands painting, but she could take no joy in the blessedly created image for she was on her third cup of ginger tea that day. The nausea would not let up, and she felt her mind turn increasingly towards throwing someone out a window if they asked her one more question! Whatever was the matter? Only time would tell!
  14. A certain Arabella Charlotte thought of the people she came across in her travels across that of Failor. Strange, certainly, for they knew nothing of the average appearance, let alone even the political climate as of late. A dimpled quirked in her smile, as she prepared to visit once more.
  15. A certain Queen Sofia of Hyspia remembers distinctly being promised the first invite within that of Savoy, and wonders why such a promise has not been kept..
  16. The Queen Sofia of Hyspia is delighted at the recently released collection, having been working with the Baroness closely in this matter. Each piece was certainly gorgeous and worthy of a publication of its own!
  17. Very happy to see this and a very happy Pride!
  18. Spoiler alert! He was wrong. The instructions are soon given to the very appreciative Weiss, who grinned and got to work. Plumes of black smoke escaped the cooking area, and the scent of something gone horribly wrong soon fills the camp.
  19. Upon reading a newly published cookbook, a certain Queen rumored to be in an awful mood lately and sequestering herself within Swan Keep is heard to be demanding a cucumber salad drizzled in brown sauce.
  20. The Queen Sofia looks forward to the upcoming wedding, marking the date upon her calendar! She hoped aboveall else the union would prove fruitful for the duo!
  21. The Queen Sofia thought of the shooting star that was seen. A vibrant blue, coasting across the night sky as it blinked past, there and then gone just as fast. El Zafiro. It was fitting. Not only for its colors, but for its meaning. A good omen. A symbol of power, strength, but also of kindness and wise judgement. The stars have yet to lead her astray, and so she took that omen, and her horoscope to heart as she planned out her day.
  22. The Queen Sofia read over the recent bout of interviews, taking note of the one had Custodian partook in and reminiscing as she read the interview her sister had responded to next. How she loved Veronica dearly, holding her close to her heart and in mind.
  23. A Guide to the Marsana Veil Issued by The Barony of Marsana On the 17th of Godfrey's Triumph in the Year of Our Lord, 58 B.A Introduction The veil is a staple fashion within that of Balian, a piece of fabric draped over a woman's head providing a form of shade, circulation and something aesthetic alike in her wardrobe. The Marsana veil is much like it in nature, with the vibrant colors most often shown in Balian but it has its key differences; such as how it's worn, how it looks and otherwise. On Embroidery A trend started initially by the Baroness of Marsana, Mariya, the blind woman had spent much time getting used to the feel and shape of fabrics, needles and such in order to form a hobby. It took time and practice, but soon veils with intricate embroidery only gotten from hours upon hours of work were produced for her daughters to don. If you ask her how she does it, she’d simply smile and say it’s much like the braille her husband has made. The embroidery, though, is nothing simple. It holds symbolism, whether by Marsana flowers that are depicted, water-based creatures such as the Hammerheads Sharks of the Ruthern household or even a mix of the two, such as jellyfish amongst the coral reefs. Each embroidered piece is one-of-a-kind, vibrant and tells a story of its own. On Colors Marsana veils keep to a mix of Raevir and Balian fashion alike, in which you can see a mixture of colors taking place. Whether it is a light gray veil, with intricate and colorful embroidery of black, grays and reds - a crimson red veil with lighter colored embroidery to contrast it - or that of a pastel veil, blues or pinks with golden or deep colored embroidery that makes the modest piece pop, giving it a bit of a pop, or some flare. On Fabrics The fabrics used are that of silk and cotton for the main body and tulle and lace for the detailing's. This by no means is the only thing that may be used, it is simply what is seen by the majority. Silk in particular is useful for its lightweight nature, its ability to regulate temperature and wick moisture, which keeps you dry and comfortable in the heat. As to cotton, it is lightweight, breathable and goes as far as to soak up moisture and allow you to stay cool as heat escapes. Each fabric has its own use, and it must be kept in mind when choosing your veil, as the weight due to the fabric, the embroidery and otherwise can change a multitude of things as to one's outfit. An example of a Marsana Veil. On Donning Your Marsana Veil Here are the following steps as to donning your very on Marsana veil, for those without someone to do it for them; One, you take the veil in question, and drape it rectangularly over your head, with one side longer than the other. Two, pin up both sides of the veil just under your hair, tucking those sections away. Three, flip the longer end of your veil behind your opposite shoulder. Four, flip the same end back to the front of your other shoulder. And then you are done, having donned your Marsana veil! Signed, HIS LORDSHIP, Gaius Rosius var Ruthern, Baron of Marsana, Amiratus of the Kingdom of Balian, Lord Seneschal of the Crown and Chief Minister of the Duana HER LADYSHIP, Mariya Elizabeth Ruthern, Baroness of Marsana
  24. The Queen Sofia read over the interview, quiet as a painted nail hovered just over the words, trailing along as she thought to the interview had just earlier. Senor Jonathan certainly worked fast, a boon certainly for the courts! She had to appreciate his work, and the idea on interviews, giving people something to do and to read as a past time - and giving mayhaps hope in turn, hope of a prosperous future, for all.
