The Socialist Union of Nordic States

In reaction to Finland's plea for aid, Karl sends an open letter to the SLAVIC UNION, specifically addressed to Ivan:

"I see now why you wanted the withdrawal of imaginary troops, you subjugating reincarnation of Stalin. Now you should withdraw your own troops before they are killed by the thousand at Finnish hand."

SUNS also begins sending medical supplies and GMO food, though the altered DNA is removed en masse to prevent replication, largely by Russians. No attempt to hide this is made.

As well as this, a letter is sent to the MEMBERS OF THE NAC, urging them to help in supporting the independence of Finland, as it is what the people of Finland clearly want. The IMPERIUM is also asked to send aid.

Additionally, the government and military had begun to notice the language and culture barrier. Karl makes it clear to the people that no dissolution of culture will occur. A new language for the Union is devised, which is mostly composed of Scandinavian as most of the population is, though incorporates some Baltic. It is named Norden, and begins being taught as a second language in all schools, and to all government and military personnel. Free courses are offered to the adult civilian population though it is not mandatory.

The Kingdom of Illyria and Dardania

After a year of hard, grueling work, the Albanian industry manages to rise up and onto its feet like no other, production rates going over 5000% of what they used to be before the Uzina factories and the mining camps were opened. Black smog vented through the chimneys of the Industrial District as everything from horseshoes to destroyer hulls was spit out of the smog filled district and pushed into the world trade. The Kingdom was doing amazingly compared to its previous state of ruin. . .but this last set of social and economic reforms would absolutely change this small, recently-industrialized faction into a power to be feared in the Mediterranean.

 

The reforms began suddenly. In the matter of a single year, the government's reforms on Ethnicity values shifted into full gear, instantly driving slavs, greeks, and other non-Albanian ethnicity out of the Kingdom lands, or forcing the members of these minorities to switch over to the Albanian ethnicity through the governments "Ethnic Amnesty" plans, in which one could "prove" their Albanian ethnicity by taking something similar to the American Citizenship test and giving a reason why they thought they were Albanian. Not switching over denied you of any social services, leaving you vulnerable to crime, damage, and disease.

 

Thanks to the newly moderated forms, no non-authorized immigrants flood the Kingdom borders anymore, which leads to a lower crime rate and much lower drug trafficking rate. With military bases and their Mburoja heat-source detection system surrounding the borders of Albania, trying to sneak over is suicide. Background checks are done on immigrants coming into the country, and they are asked to give an interview. This is an exception to certain METO ethnicities and Americans only, allowing absolutely no Greeks into the state and limited amounts of Serbian Slavs. 

 

This "Albanization" process is also taken into all schools in the Kingdom lands, which only teach in Albanian and force Albanian ideologies into the students' heads. From a little age, pupils are taught to ostracize Greek and Serbs for their past aggression and racism towards the Kingdom, and deny the legitimacy of all Macedonians. They are taught that Albania is stronger than all the countries around them, and that the safest place in Europe is Albania. Such clever deception is used that the teachers teaching the curriculum begin to believe their own lies at times, the truth forever obscured.

 

After the social reforms, come the economic ones. For one, goods speed through the newly made Kosovo highways as cars can easily get from one place to the other through the newly built Kosovan highway and tunnel system. This makes production much easier as valuable minerals can be shipped to the Albanian Industry at a much more rapid pace, resulting in an amazing cut in the time it takes to produce arms.

 

Yet, probably the most major change that has happened yet it the rapid Industrialization and Militarization of the rural areas of Albania, as enormous state-built semi-automated farms covering the entire southern half of Albania with the exception of a few places spit out enormous amounts of wheat, enough to feed about 5 times the entire populace of the Kingdom. This influx in food leads to more Soldiers being recruited and more population growth and happiness, because bread is in such large amount that stores give it out for free when they close for the day because they don't want it to spoil. 

 

Whats even more marvelous is that in response to the quicker movement of materials through Kosovo, the Macedonian industry Project Aleksander is completed a year earlier than expected. This leads to an enormous number of large, semi-automate state owned farms and a huge number of refineries for ores to be built all over Western Macedonia, effectively turning it into a Farming and Industry District. The food coming from this region is only used for military purposes and for trading, unlike the food growing in Albania which is used for everything.

 

The industrialization of the Oil Fields in the south of Albania also happens. After 4 years of hard work, proper oil drills are set up and barrels upon barrels of oil are spit out. Instantly, exports boom at such a large percent that the Albanian government decides to lower taxes. State owned industries and corporations dominate the Albanian economical face. Albania itself greatly benefits as it now does not have to rely on other countries for energy, and can have a better source of energy than the slow, inefficient Hydroelectric plants.

 

The state begins making unprecedentedly large amounts of money compared to its last annual income as the Internal Economy scheme works, villagers getting Albanian-Only accepted money which are in no way tied to the economy of the country. Since most of the enterprises that the villagers work for are state owned, the villagers practically work for a useless money anywhere outside rural Albania, while the state gets bloated with the fruits of their labor.

 

60,000 soldiers of a lower quality, equipped with old uniforms, a Kevlar vest, old helmets, some eye wear, and outdated assault rifles (AK-47s or AK-74s for the most part) are produced in response to the economic growth, their training becoming much faster than expected. They are given two months of training opposed to the usual six month intense training course, and are thrown out onto ships to go fight the Caliphate. These forces are sure better than the Caliphate terrorists, but they are an army not worthy of praise. They are mocked by their more elite brethren in arms, getting called "shtatanjak" which means a child born too early. This is an accurate description of them for sure. 

 

20,000 well equipped soldiers are recruited this year. This round of soldiers heads south to man the Greek border (40,000 soldiers, 10 frigates,30 t-90 tanks, 120 humvees, and 60 pieces of artillery in total now). It will be the last round of 20,000 to be seen from the kingdom, as the new program now spits out twice that amount in the same amount of time. Along with this, a large fleet of 50 shenyang j-6 fighterbombers, 30 f-4s, and 20 f-5s (100 planes) ground themselves in the Landing Strips of Vlora and Saranda in the south of Albania near the Greek border. 

 

The Kingdom of Illyria and Dardania is, for the first time in history, back on its feet. Through fascist-seeming schemes and nationalism, they manage to secure enough money for the future of their country. Through a series of semi-criminal schemes, the Parliament assures a bright future for Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, and even possibly Epirus if it shall be granted to them by Greece.

1. Due to the influx of resources and money, twice the annual amount of soldiers is being spit out. 40,000 well equipped soldiers are being made per usual training period. (Per 2 turns, recurring)

 

2. With the Kosovo roads finally constructed, building resources and minerals are channeled into Albania quicker, shortening the wait time for new political action

3. Albanian arms experts begin experimenting on a new sort of gun which is as easy to produce as the Kalashnikov series but is more reliable and effective. These new types of guns will be issued to the Albanian army and use a wide variety of ammunition, so that they are not bound to only a special type of bullet. They would be named the SHP-28. (2 turns)

4. 60,000 infantry troops are sent to the caliphate to fight against it, with an escort of 7 Corvettes, 2 Destroyers (The Mbret Agron and Ismail Qemali). 12 f-15s and 10 f-5s are sent to escort the force. A fleet of about 20 Transports make up the bulk of the assailing force, carrying 20 Bell Oh-58 Kiowas and 10 Chinook helicopters. On board are also 320 humvees and 120 peices of artillery. They are to land in Libya soon. (2 turns). 

 

Dipolmacy:

 

Greece is asked again for their forfeit of the Epirus region, as a newly formed Albanian Army builds up in southern Albania, right above the region. The army claims that Greek militants have been seen near its borders and are simply trying to send a message. If Greece does not respond soon ( a turn's time) Albania will make sure that these rogue militants in Epirus are dealt with by stationing the army there as "peacekeepers".

The Oceanic Imperium

The sun beats down from on high as the flag of the Imperium is lifted over Riyadh, flapping constantly in the strong desert winds. There was no ceremony in it. Elsewhere there would be shows of power, public executions, brutal demonstrations of the change in leadership. Not here. The men who had taken the city were badai troopers, and they were trained to do their job, nothing more. Order is kept flawlessly, and within days the influence of this new node of the war effort is felt farther away than would normally be predicted: the badai corps holds itself to a higher standard, and this detachment seeks out any significant insurgent bases in the area and eliminates them. Working from a soon-solidifying base of operations in Riyadh, they systematically wrest control of the desert from the enemy.

Just a bit to the south, 3000 more badai troopers, together with a full division of the imperial army, are pushing west to the tip of Yemen. With Riyadh gone, the Islamic fighters had lost an important supply and reinforcement line, and were on their own, relying on the few fighters who ventured out from the area around Mecca.

In the east, resistance to the imperial advance has all but vanished as Caliphate fighters either hide or pull back to try to drive out the western invasion of Iran. As such, armored divisions race ahead, crossing into Iran from the north and pushing across the country in a race for Esfahan. The bulk of the army is more cautious, securing smaller towns and cities in a wider area. Several divisions even cross into Afghanistan, where there are still several bastions of jihadi influence.

However, even with all this happening, the world's eyes are still fixed on Tehran. The city is by now completely surrounded and under heavy bombardment, but holding out. The Caliph is believed not to have fled, and in fact reports say that he is urging every man, woman and child in the city to fight to the death to protect him, and by extension the notion of unified Islam. The assault soon begins, with imperial kiamat tanks leading the charge...

In the core territory of the Imperium, reconstruction is believed to be almost complete. With a stable power grid just now established across all parts of the empire, shipping and trade now once again flourishing, and new industrial zones staffed by drones beginning to come online, it doesn't seem foolish--just for a moment--to hope that there is a bright future ahead for the country.

It's a viewpoint that the oppressive, state-run propaganda-driven media doesn't hesitate to shove down the throats of all the brainwashed citizens of the empire. After almost five years of a "state of emergency," executive power is everything. For all the "clean energy" and "efficient use of land" that had been discussed and put into action, it was all toward one purpose: power.

King Asrul Kapur, the reasonable, educated, but always forceful man who had united his country and brought it to power was no more. That man had died the day his homeland was razed in nuclear fire. In his place was The Emperor. There was no justice in the world, no sense of common humanity. The many nations of Earth would never stop squabbling amongst themselves until someone could unite them. The Emperor was determined to be that man. Deals would be struck, alliances would be made and broken, but always with the same goal in sight: one world, one government. Peace through Power.

But of course, the vision could wait. For now he had a christening to get to.

SUNS is sent a response, explaining that the Imperium's resources are fully strained at the moment with massive construction efforts on top of a million troops in the field. However, the nation publicly supports the Finnish side of the conflict.

The Greater Argentine Federation - War preparation post

In the Argentina homeland a political chaos ensues following the ridiculous demands of the reminding USAN states. People petition and protest for and against combat and defense, attack or negotiations, yet the one man who really matters is firm and determined. Presidente Peròn would not demolish what he had built. 

 

Immediately, a plan is laid out. The country needed to prepare; defense would be the only plausible strategic option. The defense and military spending is dramatically increased and TAM-II, Sol-1 and Pòn-11 factories work overtime and pump out record-breaking amounts of hardware by the day, being supplied to the growing army. Currently at a mere 350,000 frontline personnel deployed along the Northern borders, an additional 400,000 reserves are called in and begin new training with the various equipment and methods of the Argentine army while another 400,000 reserves are put on standby and ready to be called in. A goal of 500 Sol-1s, 1,000 TAM-IIs and a Pòn-11 carbine rifle to be used by every Argentine soldier is near and new pilots and drivers are also hand picked from amongst the Argentine ranks. Meanwhile along the country's borders to the North, a massive fortification program ensues, deploying all available workers, engineers and architects, even some soldiers to construct bunkers, forts, artillery positions and basic airstrips. Supply lines are lined with guard posts and strategically laid to be harder to attack and to be advantageous for defensive guerrilla harassment. ((2 pages for all preparations, some of the heavier border constructions take 3))

 

The only problem was that the nation had little time to prepare. The USAN members needed to be stalled. A large company of hand-picked diplomats and ambassadors organize a meeting with the other nation leaders and begin a long process of negotiations and false promises, using the extremely over-complicated Southern American bureaucratic system to slow the negotiations down and find loopholes in potential agreements. They declare Argentina is willing to come to a solution ceding land yet what land will be ceded is very vague and requires further negotiations, thus further dragging out the inevitable conflict. Whenever the opposition's representatives threaten with war, they are duly reminded that Argentina is engaged in a defensive alliance with Indonesia which is still valid and thus declaring war on Argentina would mean declaring war on the Oceanic Imperium. 

 

Other more secret diplomatic envoys cross the pacific by plane to meet with Oceanic government representatives, asking for help in either troops or technology for the coming war, especially showing interest in borrowing some of the infamous and widely-feared Kiamat tanks for morale boosts. Morale is an issue in the Argentine army as is natural facing a numerically superior foe on a large front. If none of this could be possible, Oceanic army engineers and officers for training and construction could also be sent over. The diplomats are hellbent on pressing out some sort of aid from the Imperium in this time of dire need.

-Italy sends troops to claim the Eastern borders of Greece, telling them the only

way they'll survive the Albanian persecution and invasion is joining under them. This will give them full autonomy but be counted under their regions

-Albania is warned to stop its persecution, and instead treat its subjects properly. Otherwise their Macedonian territory will be reclaimed

-However they are urged to continue their efforts against Greece's provinces

Third Mexican Empire

 

A heir is born! The Empress has recently given birth to a healthy baby boy named after his ancestor, Agustin. Citizens celebrate nationwide and parades are held in Mexico City. Mexico had been in a much more favourable position than it had been merely half a decade ago, the administration had gradually become efficient and effective. it boasted a standing force and reserve numbering over 1 million, rivaling that of the Argentinians. With the elites being supplied with advanced American weapons and equipment such as the Viper Shades and Charlie Rays (unsure about the latter, Brad will have to clarify).

 

With the crisis in Latin America, Mexico has begun to mass-produce Viper Shades and Charlie Rays with hopes of arming every soldier in the military with them. Though most were still retraining in Mexico City (1 more page left). Some of the American Tanks and Jets are disassembled to acquire blueprints of them in hopes of making more in the future, rural factories begin producing them along with the equipment (3-4 pages for everything?).

 

Mexican emissaries are sent to Argentina offering to help them against the USAN if their countries are partitioned between both of them. Mexico will get Colombia, Venezuela and Brazil, Argentina will have Peru and Ecuador.

 

The retrained units, numbering roughly 300'000 with many more being trained in the Capital, are stationed in Panama with a multitude of tanks and jets stationed in the nearby military base. Among that are the 50'000 elite troops sent before to stabilize the region.

The United States of America

 

Americans cheer as more North American territory is annexed to the NAC. Even with the abnormal amount of casualties that were sustained, the war was successful, and soon American bombers begin to Napalm the country's jungles - a system not used since the Vietnam war. After using incendiary devices to push the guerrillas out, heavy fire machine and tank gunners finally manage to wipe out a huge sum of guerrilla fighters. Leaving the countries to Mexico, American troops withdraw into the United States. Since highly-advanced Mexican troops will be left there to defend the area, the stability of the country shouldn't be put into question,

 

 

The Wolf-Tank and the CR-117 were highly effective in a war combat situation. Seeing this as a victory, these are mass-produced and given to NAC units in order to form a stronger North America. The high sense of American, Canadian, and Mexican nationalism seem to spread like wildfire, and soon all three countries feel superior to the world. More and more Americans join the military, and officer schools open up. The United States once again, like in WWII, seems to become an industrial war-machine. And as the North America is entirely part of the NAC, this nationalistic pride sustains.

 

 

The famed American and Imperium Super-Carriers are finally complete, and are the largest navy ships, and maybe even the most powerful too. The Imperium one makes its way into Imperium land int he Pacific. Filled with hundreds upon hundreds of drone planes, the planned American course is changed. Instead of heading into the Pacific Islands, it docks in the Pacific side of the Panama Canal. That way, it'll be able to sail between oceans, if necessary. The hull of the ship reads the U.S.S Sherman, and an American flag next to it. The American flag and a NAC flag is raised on it, designed by a Canadian artist.

 

 

 

The withdrawn American troops from Mexico along with fresh ones, are sent into Florida instead and begin a massive campaign of Central American islands. Canada joins the United States and contributes about 1,000 troops, and Mexico is urged to participate and send in Elite units, as they need to gain experience:

From Key West, Fl - American troops would invade the Bahamas first, as they are the closest and barely have an army. After capturing the Bahamas and supplying their troops, they would launch Naval attacks on the Eastern half of Cuba and bombard military depots, oil rigs, and supply lines. If Mexico joined, they would be urged to invade the other half - the western side, and together they would take Cuba - splitting the country in half, East and West.

 

In the meanwhile, troops would be also sent to American-owned Puerto Rico and then they would invade the Dominican Republic. The two fronts would meet up and storm Haiti, as well as the Turks and Caicos Islands. Bombers and Wolf Tanks would be deployed to decrease Guerrilla warfare pressure. Finally, if all of that was successful, Trinidad and Tobago would be taken under NAC occupation.

 

 

 

Plans for the Super-Carrier are offered to France. Although METO has a no-share policy on technology, Baker hopes this will be a sign of good-will. To increase relations with both METO and Russia, both are offered a stake in the planned Mars mission program to put a human onto the moon. The U.S decides to stay not to get in with conflicts in Europe. A package of 10 billion dollars is sent to Albania, as long as it does not invade that area of Greece, as it would provoke a conflict with Italy. President Baker prepares a trip to Finland, and asks both Russian and Nordic (Finland and NU) leaders to meet him there, to discuss its future.

Mexico Reaction Post

Out of the 50'000 elite units stationed in Mexico's southern territories, 5'000 are diverted to the American invasion plan in hopes that they gain experience for the upcoming war with USAN, if Argentina accepts proposals. USA is also notified about Mexico's intentions in Latin America. The USA are also asked for the blueprints to their weapons as to significantly speed up their mass-manufacture in Mexican factories.

Russia

President Ivan looks over the ALBANIAN letter and rubs his chin. America and Russia had never been on better terms since their alliance and to prove such, he decides to put some resources into the mission for Mars. What is space travel without Russia after all?

However, the casualties in Finland were high. He knew time was at an essence and decides to move his troops in an attempt to keep Finland isolated from the world by sending ships along the western and northern coasts as well as anti air craft and tanks along the east. Their only way out would be west into Sweden should the blockade hold. Any ships and boats that attempt to move into Finland would be taken and shot down if needed.

A letter is sent to the leader of FINLAND.

"To the President of Finland,

I will admit your fighting force has impressed me greatly. Many of your men have died honorably, and it is something I admire. Due to this, I offer you this chance of survival. Join the Union, and all of our troops shall leave your country to rule as you please. Join our economic success and become the greatest of Nordic states. No one has come to help you in this time of need, and eventually we will take your homes. I offer you something greater to make of your people so war is not needed.

Greater German Empire

 

It was high noon when Supreme Chancellor Hans Wulfgang stood outside of the Reichstag, projecting a speech to the German 3rd and 2nd armies. It was a tremendous sight to see, being projecting on live national TV and the likes. Roughly 20,000 civilians crowded the streets of Berlin, trying to ****** a glimpse of the Armed Forces. Overhead, the Luftwaffe performed amazing stunts and flyovers. However, they all flew off as Wulfgang entered the stage. In both a message to the people of Greater Germany, and Russia, he said this:

 

"Today is a joyous day. A day of celebration, a day of unity.

 

Today is the day to test if our allies really are so. War is very possible, in fact it is on our doorstep. Besides Poland and Hungary, we are on the front lines - and we fight a possible enemy, who, has been our enemy for some time now. Even if you hadn't read, even if you hadn't watched or heard rumors, even if you had been living under a rock you should know Russia is no fit ally for the Fatherland. Russia is and never will be an ally to Germany, as long as it continues its greedy ways. Since my election, I have seen this day coming; the day an ultimatum is delivered to the Red Bear:

 

Ivan - remove your troops from Finland within the year, ((1 page)) or have it considered a full frontal declaration of war against Germany, and her METO allies. Should you pull back your men, a long lasting alliance can be forged between our countries, leaving long-lasting peace in Europe. Continue your little winter war, and the METO war machine will beat you into submission. Do not think this is not a fair choice: one country, or long lasting peace?"

 

With that, the two German armies in front of him begin to roll out eastwards - the tank divisions shaking the earth in their wake. In truth, little over a tenth of the men and vehicles from both armies could be fit in the square - the rest already waiting on the Eastern border. Wulfgang's hands shook... He may have just been the third German leader to cause a world war.

 

The Imperium and NAC are asked to not intervene in the war, as METO is doing naught but protecting innocent people's sovereign independence.

The Oceanic Imperium

A shot rings out in the central square of Tehran, and the shouting crowd at its edges goes quiet. It was merely the sidearm of the tall, stern man at the center, pointed into the air, but now everyone there was silent and attentive.

 

A man lies, bloodied and bruised, at the general's feet. He tries to rise, but a swift, harsh kick in the ribs stops him and sends him rolling a foot away. The crowd surges forward, to be met by a line of imperial soldiers who brutally knock them back.

 

The fighting had been brutal, with the defenders refusign to retreat, always fighting to the end. In the end though, they had been overwhelmed, unable to push back against the wrath of the Emperor.

 

The general takes a deep breath, and begins to speak in Indonesian, a translator by his side.

"Ibn al-Mumaar, your arrogance has led you to this day. To declare yourself a Caliph was insult enough to the world, but the world endured it. But to attempt to impose your will on the rest of the world, to hold hostage rightful lands of the Imperium...these crimes must have required unimaginable hubris.

 

And so, Ibn al-Mumaar, in the name of His Majesty, King of Indonesia and Emperor of the Oceanic Imperium, I sentence you to die."

 

The crowd protests again as he roughly grabs the false caliph by the hair, and brings his sidearm up once again to press against the back of the man's skull. A small smile crosses his lips as he pulls the trigger, sending the man's brains splattering across the ground. And that is all the ceremony that the former Islamic leader gets. His body is hoisted up on the town center, to rot in the desert sun.

 

The image is broadcasted all around the world, and the fighters still in Iraq are sent daily broadcasts telling them to lay down their arms. This war had been an excellent show of imperial power, even when it was weakened, but now, with reconstruction finally coming to completion, Oceania was weak no longer.

 

As the lights go on in hundreds of massive underground farms, reconstruction is finally deemed complete, and the Oceanic Imperium takes its place as the foremost power of the world. Its population surpassed all other competitors by leaps and bounds. It could outproduce any country in the world. Its army was disciplined, experienced, and technologically advanced enough to take on any fighting force on the planet. A new age was dawning, and it would be the Imperium at its forefront. Recruitment begins once again for the army, while forges again begin to crank out war machines.

 

The capstone is put on the imperial palace, a huge pyramid that is now the largest man made structure by volume and height. It reaches high enough that its tip is often in clouds, and the fact that it can do so is testament to how wide it is. The centers of almost all the various ministries can be housed inside, while the top levels are reserved for the Emperor himself.

 

The CMR, now a massive, well-funded institution, sets its engineers to work on a variety of projects, starting with a modernizing of the infantry.

 

Standard-issue lightweight body armor is in the works, designed to protect the head and torso against bullets or shrapnel while still allowing all the mobility that is necessary for Imperial tactics. More impressive, however, are the designs for the soon to be standard issue firearm. A lightweight, rapid-firing carbine, it will fire superheated slugs rather than standard bullets. While this means a shorter range, it provides armor-piercing capabilities and makes getting hit by one of these weapons far more destructive.

 

A new dropship is also being designed, intended to transport troops to a location and provide air support. In addition to standard air-to-ground weaponry, it will be equipped with anti-missile systems such as flares and a radio scrambling device, and will be able to quickly move in all directions to evade threats and chase quarry.

When the Argentinian representative arrives in Indonesia, he is greeted by the sight of one of the Imperium's massive troop transports, which now flies the Argentinian flag. He is told that the imperial government was already preparing to send aid. Inside the ship are no less than 500 Overlord drones and five Kiamat tanks. More substantial aid, in the form of actual manpower, may be sent if the fight doesn't go well.

 

A new fleet sets sail from the Darwin shipyard, with a second battlecruiser in the lead, named the INS Maelstrom. With it are no less than 30 missile destroyers and 20 submarines. This fleet joins with the INS Nemesis and stands by for the moment.

 

With the caliph dead, imperial forces in the Middle East focus on securing the areas surrounding their outposts. Yemen is soon completely occupied, while the badai troopers in Riyadh stop short of taking Mecca. Iran and Afghanistan continue to offer resistance, but are soon subjugated as well. Iraq remains defiant, and imperial forces in Basrah focus on pushing the jihadis away from the city. It remains to be seen what will happen next.

The Greater Argentine Federation - Reaction post

As the massive troop transport sets sail for Buenos Aires, much gratitude is expressed by the representative on behalf of the Federation and Presidente Peròn, the latter organizing a 2-week-visit to inspect the new Indonesian lands and wonders and to personally meet with the Emperor for the first time.

With the Oceanic aid guaranteed and on it's way, the Mexican offer is firmly refused, stating that it should stay in Central America and leave South America to Southern Americans.

Preparations continue at impressive speed in military training camps and on construction sites along the border as the people of Federation holds their breath, awaiting the war that will mark the future of their continent for decades to come.

The Kingdom of Illyria and Dardania

The Albanian government heeds the Italian warnings, and removes legal persecution on minorities living in Albanian lands, but the damage has already been done. Even though legal prosecution is over, Slavs and Greeks are constantly oppressed by the people, and little is done to stop this oppression. Perhaps the Albanian Police are too busy with the conflicts going on in the south. Nonetheless, the Government gives back few possessions seized from these peoples as their documented proof is insufficient to prove past ownership of land, especially in Macedonia where the old ownership documents are owned by the Italian government now. The school curriculum is eased a bit on the anti-Macedonian racism but it continues to condemn the Macedonians as oppressors of the Albanian people in the past.

 

After receiving 10 billion dollars from America, Albania holds off its military campaign and instead focuses on its current territories. Greek-Albanians are reminded that Italy has been a forceful government in the past and will be one in the future. Food and supplies are sent to the Epirus region, but only to known Albanian residents, branded with Made in Albania and bearing propaganda messages on their packaging. Rumors of arms and bullets being circulated through to the Albanians in Greece begin to circle, but why would Albania ever do that, when they could simply march on Greece and get it all over with? In the end, these are just rumors, like the concentration camps in Turkey...filthy, stinking rumors. . .right?

 

Meanwhile, back in the homeland, the country swells in profit as money comes pouring in through the state owned enterprises, as well as the extra bonus of american money which is all poured into, you guessed it, more industry and military. New factories are put into construction all over the newly acquired lands of Macedonia and the old lands of Kosovo. These factories will be chiefly military in purpose and will aim to produce massive amounts of equipment to bolster the Albanian Army even further. 

 

Military bases are also funded to be built all across Macedonia, and the Mburoja system and wall is to be built around that territory. With a much more efficient industry and an already existent system of roads, this process will be significantly easier than it was for Albania and Kosovo, as Macedonia is a nice flatland for the most part. These military bases will ensure a protection from possible invasion.

Military recruitment begins in Macedonia, as the populace there is drafted into the Army and Labor Force in order to bolster Albanian power. In order to persuade those who would rather join the Labor Force the Albanian government offers social welfare and relief from taxes plans to soldiers in the Army. The longer you serve, the more advantages you get from the Albanian state. This leads to a decently sized amount of people joining the army each year. 

 

In response to the American monetary help, the Albanian recycling of Shenyang j-6 parts into Shenyang j-16s is sped up greatly, as the program is aspired to finish the following year, spitting out 100 brand new fighterbombers as effective as a Lockheed-Martin F22. Originally of Chinese Make, the blueprints were gained before the suicide of China, luckily. These planes will be used to maintain peace all across Albania and stop any possible foreign threats. In total, 300 planes will make up the reformed Albanian Air and Logistics Brigade, with 1/3 being composed of these deadly machines.

New reasearch projects are also initiated en masse, in order to Albanize the entire Military of Albania. New plane concepts are though of and new tank concepts are drawn up. More efficient weapons and battle-armor are imagined as well as more efficient explosives. As always, rumors are bound to circulate that Albania plans on making chemical weapons. This time, the General Supreme himself interjects and announces that all Albanian Chemical Weapons were destroyed by NATO and there is no plan to make more of them.

6. A new jet concept is envisioned by the Albanian Mlitary: An easily produce, stealth fighterbomber that it meant to be easily replaceable and easily made. It is to be called Shqiponja-class (4 turns).

7. A new Destroyer concept is envisioned by the Albanian military: An efficient destroyer with a wave-piercing tumblehome hull like the Zumwalt-class american destroyers. These destroyers are meant to have a small radar signature and to be quick. The destroyer class would be named Shpata-class. (4 turns).

DIPLOMACY:

 

1. A letter is sent to all METO members and the Slavic Union and America urging for the inclusion of all territories listed below. The reason being is that these were the lands originally in the ethnic Albanian state, and are populated by Albanians who have been oppressed over the years. A petition is called for, and in return Albania promises on the sake of serious sanctions to not attempt any more expanding if these territories are granted to it.
