King Maric sits at the head of the table, with his respective right and left hands sitting beside him, he stays silent while the council bicker among themselves in what action should be taken, with whom to side with, or if they should be involved in the first place. Maric gives a stern look to the rest of the council, he stands before them and speaks

“We were once in the position the High Elven people have found themselves in, with no place to go and with foreigners attempting to control our rightful lands. They supported our just cause and our fight for freedom and to reclaim our homeland. For this we pledged our support to their cause and I don’t intend to break that promise. Call the banners General Ocran, rally the nobles Lord Horen and Lord Briarwood rally the just to this cause. At dawn, we march on the Bronze city.”

The councillors all nod to the King, battle hardened from the rebellion and ready to help their allies in their time of need, they were ready to strike at the tyrant Phaedrus who himself declared the Renatians to be nothing more than scum. Within hours ravens from the tower begin swarm out of Angren all carrying the call to war with them, they spread across the Kingdom to rally the nobles and knights of the realm to march

Within the stone halls of the Owynswood keep, Caer Blodwen, a figure leans over a table. A woman leans upon him, tracing her hand across his back, resting her chin on his shoulder as she gazes upon the table with him.

The table is painted in an ornate fashion, a map of the realm depicted upon its polished oaken surface. A few fine silver figurines rest in various places across the map. The man slowly flicks a finger towards a figurine shaped like a tree, knocking it over. It thuds upon the wood, and the man smiles.

"Step two."

"Then you wish war with the Uruks, Urguan, and the free world. The high elves placed ethnic barriers simillar to the crow, and yet you support their policy."

"Is this a war if ideology, or convenience in pacts you made when you sold your dream for your ability to implement it?"

"There is no honour in this battle. High elves are not banished from their lands ethnically, yet you wish to support a race war? Are you aware of the results of high elven presence, that they would murder every child they deem inhuman despite all bearing loyalty to our creator?"

Lori Lori Ireheart would ask, in a private letter discussing the nature of the conflict and gathering information to present to the Thanes Council.

The First Enchanter would scoff,

"What nonsense.

The High Elven culture was never about this genocide nonesense the Wood Elven propaganda would have you believe. The High Elven populace found it fit to elect a conservative leader, who held the idea of purity all too close. You damn a culture because of a single one-sided monarch!

Even Phaedrus himself stated how he was in the wrong, seeking genocide because the High Elves played at such the idea! Truly, you're a fly falling into a web of ignorance, llir. I'd suggest educating yourself on such topics because making such broad claims."

'Red' fans through a large pile of paperwork, shoving a pile a field manuals onto the dirt-ridden floors before his desk, having forgotten the invitation to the matter. Eying the parchment over, he leans back in his seat, restraining audible groan and after a moment's passing he chucks the letter back into it's pile. Shaking his head, 'Red' gestures across the room to another officer of the Hounds, "Oi, young one, go and gather Godfrey. Yes you, Horen Boy, get off your arse and do something worthwhile. I've no idea what occurred in tha' gathering as I've missed it. He'll fill me in, seein' as I wasn't abou' an' such."

"Throughout the reign of Haelun'or, the high Elves claimed that they were fundamentally superior but simultaneously the saviours of elven kind. They demanded gratefulness and obedience from those they deemed lesser purely because they had allowed them to build outside their "blessed" walls. They shed Wood Elven and Dark Elven blood in the name of a foreign power, the Oren led by your apparent mortal foes, the Carrions.

And yet Renatus rushes to the aid of their oldest enemy's oldest and greatest ally."

In Vanderfell's blue moon inn, Quin speaks with a few members of the Black Eagle over a round of ale.

"I'll not raise a blade aiding those pasty heretics. That is not a word I use lightly. Heretic...to scorn all gods, despite overwhelming proof of their existence... it truly proves a race has no soul."

Verthaik ventures off from Orzammar to help Loghain as that is the portrait of king Maric, fight the fifth blight at Ostagar, as that is the picture he is shown. He then realizes it was all a farce and that it's just Loghain up to his old antics of power lust and not fighting the blight(undead) and instead on a throne that isn't his.

Then he realizes that it was all just a dream.

((Loving the creativity behind using Dragon Age. One of my favorite games. Can't wait to play Inquisition. Please use some of those pictures too. I would love to see it.))

Ser Brennen Roost sharpens his blade and speaks idly with his few bannermen, it was time for another war, but this time their blades would be along Renatian shields. And hopefully, out of this time of bloodshed and glory a new era would be forged from the ashes...

"The high elves arent 'Banished' From their land, they are free to come here and get homes just like the rest of us. Live among us as Equals!" Dwyn's brows furrow "Everyone is making us out to be tyrants who took over lands. We tried for years to gain more voice in Annil'sul, Elorna and Phaedrus did this all peacefully. When it came to taking the city it was under much deliberation and hesitance. The only ones we don't wish to live among is US the conservatives who would kill for the silver law."

"High elves are free to come and live in the city! Live among us, nominate for one of the positions on the council. Yet none come. They would rather raise blades then their own voices, as we tried. I'll never understand it- but I'll keep my ears open if those voices do come."
