epix37 62 Share Posted December 29, 2014 It was a sunny day in Athera. Mirko Vojovic, a proud man of Raev, skipped into the secluded, peaceful town of the Wood Elves after distributing free bread to strangers on the main road. He had been visiting this town since its establishment to see the progress of its construction, which he took an interest in as Minister of Construction of Akovia. However, this lad of Raevir descent was met with suspicion and fear from the elfskis because he spoke differently. Mere minutes after entering the town, Mirko was captured by armed guards and taken to prison on false charges of assault! The alleged victim entered the jail to identify his attacker from a lineup of three suspects including Mirko, but of course when he failed to do so, the immediate reaction of the guardsmen was to blame the Raevir! After begging and pleading with his captors for the opportunity to send for an alibi to vouch for him (something any just nation would instantly do), Mirko was finally granted his wish and sent for the gallant army of Akovia to free him from this elven oppression. At the end of the day no blood was spilt, but deep wounds were inflicted on the Raevir people as a whole. When little Vyacheslav of Karovia goes to sleep at night, he will know that all of Athera looks down on him and sees him as less than human. Svetlana the little ballerina cries every day because no one outside of her small town will ever value her dancing. As you can see, the effects of racial profiling toward the Raevir people are devastating. Next time you see a friendly man of Raev visiting your neighborhood, show him kindness and empathy instead of iron bars and the blade. Raevir lives matter.

WuHanXianShi14 0 Share Posted December 29, 2014 "Oh boo ******* hoo, an elf was attacked in town so we rounded up the people on the scene and questioned each of them fairly. They were all considered innocent until proven guilty and we even willingly let your Raevir boy call a witness who would supposedly be able to testify his innocence (which turned out to be your skygod forbidden raiding party)."

OhDeerLord 673 Share Posted December 29, 2014 Dwyn frowns as he sees the notice, shaking his head and speaking out "Leyulin doesn't have armed guards nor a prison, any people who would like to come to the town and look around for themselves will see that. We haven't even finished commissioning new armor for a guard force." He sighs at the propaganda, running a hand through his hair "We have /laws/ against singling out someone because of their race. We have laws to protect visitors to our home."

Jachnun 566 Share Posted December 29, 2014 Harald Vanir sits at the home of his Granpapej for steamed babalouche under the moon light. As they sit down and talk about babalouche a young man enters the room! The man screams "Is Mirko!" Artoym raises a brow screaming "Make of speak boy! Speak!" The man tears up saying "Is Mirko!" Harald drops his bowl of babalouche getting up saying, "What of Mirko!" The man begins to weep, "Elfski blamed him! A /Raevir/ man for murder! Was nie him!" They all gather up tearing and saying, "Raevir lives matter!" Harald leaves the house as the others still cry of the great betrayal they have recently suffered. He then mutters, "Elfski greatest ally betrayed us, jumped the bandwaggon of blaming Raevirs!" Then thunder and a terrible rain broke out. In the midst of the rain Harald screams, "RAEVIR LIVES MATTER!"
