Grand King Hodir Doomforge delivers his plea to Athera, and terms to Oren.

This stone day has been a glorious one, my kin and our mighty allies have overcome incredible odds, a sound and decisive victory has been granted to Urguan’s children. I’d like to make it clear that the Dwedmar have no desire to continue this pointless war, for Oren is the aggressor and we are fighting for our dear survival. We reach out to every Nord lord, Elf, Orc, stray Dwarf, Human house, or vassal, to join us in our cause in order to restore Yemekar’s balance if our reasonable terms are not met.

Our terms are the following.

  • Surrender any remaining Oren holds in the North and return them to their rightful owners.
  • Call the retreat of any and all forces belonging to Oren from their influence in the North.
  • If the Kingdom of Aesterwald is to reform and claim their rightful place in Athera, they shall be left in peace and will not be subject to Oren's tyranny.
  • The absolution of the Human - High Elven alliance in place for an allied neutrality.
  • A personal and sincere apology from King Andrik Vydra.

Oren will receive two stone days in order to respond appropriately to the terms of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan.

-Grand King Hodir Doomforge

*Thoromir crosses his arms frowning "Oren is the only rightful owner of the north lands, dwarven support of rebel factions does not grant them claim to any northern lands."

"Do the bortu have amnesia? Forgetting to bring explosives and siege equipment does not warrant a crushing defeat. Do they forget all the times we have absolutely destroyed them? As in always?"

Franz reads over the terms and raises a brow. "They will obligated to send us terms after one victory? It saddens me that they look onward so narrowly."

"No they denied that because they needed a place to set their beards on fire, and didn't want any siege to take place with weapons or explosives, friend." Paul corrects, before heading with his good friend Thryn to lunch

"You call it a Plea, but then demand? I knew Dwarves were beyond overconfident at times, but this is just ridiculous. I haven't really fought anything in centuries, yet even now I still know you don't win a /defensive/ battle, and then try to demand of the enemy. I'm afraid for their Nation if they put someone like this on the Throne." Kaun says after reading over a copy of the letter, sitting under a tree drinking a nice cup of tea.

A response is sent.

"Oren has no desire for this conflict. But the crimes of the false state of Aesterwald against our people ring fresh in our minds. The North shall NEVER again be a state that claims sovereignty as an independent nation. Oren will NEVER relinquish hold of any of our reclaimed human colonies. And I, Andrik of the House Vydra, protector of the Reformed Kingdom of Oren, will NEVER give in to peace terms as deplorable as these. There shall be no negotiations, no parlay, and no mercy until I have accomplished what I swore to do.

Mark my words, Dwarf King. The North shall be under the dominion of Humanity, and until the day that Hiebenhall and Hanseti are in our hands there shall never be peace. "

Lord Korrektor Edward Winter II rolls in his grave at the proposal of the recreation of the Waldenian state at the behest of the dwarves.

Ser Edgar Sparrow shakes his head no very fast, and draws a smiley face on small pebble, ties it to the leg of an Adrian pigeon, and sends it southward to Urguan.

Charles lets out a slow grunt, his fingers drawing across his young and tired face as his head would avert to Hiebenhall... then to Hanseti...

"I can't say I really care if the dwarves live here, but I hate them... so I do."
