The Peoples Republic

As news reports come in from all over the globe, the Emperor of China listens patiently in his throne room. His first several months of leadership had gone off well, and already marked improvements were beginning to show. Yet all was not well in his realm. The Maoist rebels to the west constantly poked and prodded at his cities, causing the deaths of countless innocent civilians all for the name of their idiotic idealogy. To the East, dissent was rising as reports came in of a military coup in Japan. That troubled the Emperor greatly, and he knew he must take a harldline stance with any would be usurpers of his rightful throne. He would deal with the problems in Japan as well. All across the globe, nations fought and sqaubled, attempting to wrestle dominance from each other. Yet China would stay neutrla in all these issues, and rise above the rest. Or so Mai Li assured his people.

Diplomacy:

China strongly condems the acitions of the Congrestionalist rebels that have risen in Japan. The conutry will be sending in peacekeeping forces to maintain order within the troubled nation, and put into place the rightful Japanese government in. The trade pact from Sweden is accepted with open arms, but a military defense treaty must be denied due to issues stemming primairly from logistics. A mutual defense pact is declared between the countries of India, China, and Japan. The defense pact is labeled the Eastern Bloc. The actions taken by Italy against Spain are as strongly condemned as those of the Japanese rebels. Heavy sanctions are put into place over Italy, attempting to hurt their economy. (Mod Plox. Say wether this affects their economy at all and if so by how much.)All nations currently allied with China are encouraged to fo the same.

Economy:

Chinese economy continues to improve on a steadily increasing trend. Trade pacts have been established with severla nations all across the world and the national currency of China has seen an overall increase of six percent since the Tang Dynasty was declared and Emperor Mai Li came into power.

Infrastructure:

Roads continue to be built all along Chinese territory, increasing the speed of which transportation may occur. The moderinization of China is at full force. Despite these leaping bounds of modern technology however, a few factions located in the more remote/rural areas of China have protested to this, what they call, enroachment of their traditional way of life. For now the the Chinese cabinet has made no official response to these wild accusations, though everyone is weary of the potential of mild unrest.

Military:

The Chinese Military mobilizes into action. Upon hearing of the militaristic coup in Japan, forces from China immedieatly move into action. The Peoples Liberation Marine army is dispatched, with a starting force of 100,000 highly trained Infantry heading towards China, along with a contingency of 250 Tanks, and 500 AFV's.These are to be transported immedieatly to be transported to Kyoto, where the shattered Japanese Imperial Family holds its command post. The troops will be escorted by a single Aircraft Carrier, 10 Destroyers, and 5 Submarines. In accompany to this, 150,000 Inantry, 1,000 Tanks, 2,500 AFV's, and 50 Helicopters are dispatched towards the western border between China and India to garrison the surrounding cities and stifle any Maoist activity that might begin to rise up due to the actions taken in Japan.

The New Chancellor General Rodrigo Souza gets news of the Italian attack. He orders all forces to mobilize to the spanish border. He sends an Ultimatum to Spain.

We then adresses the people, it is brodcasted on the internet and appears on the news. 

 

"People of Portugal, we stand united by the grace of God, but we /MUST/ not let the Italian's march onto Iberia! We must protect ourselves and our Brethern across the border! Unite Lusitanians March against the Italians! They must not reach our borders! FOR PORTUGAL, FOR IBERIA!"

They send a Message to the Italian president.

They move these forces to the border, unlookers can see them training daily, playing the national anthem every sun set and sun rise.

 

Economicly they continue building more infrastructure. They build mines, industry and more agricultural infrastructure.

Republic of Poland

 

Poland, an post-communist country that was considered to have high-income and heathiest growing country within the EU to only fallen into the gapping hole of Euro drop fall. A re-election was hailed for this year to elect a new president, President Tyminski. To able to keep the flow of money stable once more, they need to invest in trading and merchanting Poland. So advisement for Toruism to visit the country with a new changing currency solution under way so when foreigners visit it is quick and simple.

 

The Russia uniting puts the President in worry, to ensure safety of his people and his country. He declared more troops to be send to the Poland-Russia borders, a couple of more troops were send to borders and high alert to tell if they see any increase military sightings from Russia.

The Russian Federation

 

Today was a big day for Russia. With the Soviet Remembrance day passed and the great unification of powers formalized, it was time for the Federation finish what was started. After leaving a delegate in Britain and finishing the deals with Ireland, Putin was returning to Moscow to perhaps sign one of the most important executive orders in Russian history.

 

 

With the president of the Belarussian republic, the Crimean republic and the Estonian republic. Putin signed a treaty that would change the Baltic scene forever. To begin with, Estonia capitulated after no allies came to aid. With no superpower to stop Russia from her annexation, a damaged army through artillery and the slow movement occupying city for city with mediocre success, it was better to sign a contract with the devil.  Estonia would join the Russian Federation, which costed Russia over 25 billion due to artillery and bombardment. Insane compared to Chechnya, where it only costed 11. Expected costs to repair Estonia would be 37 Billion.

 

Belarus and Crimea however, signed to militarize their borders and adopt the Russian currency. The Stock market made a quick dip of 14% due to this, as their economies were off much worse than the Russians. But it is expected to recover quickly, they hope. These Russian republics signed to fund the effort to blockade and sanction Lithuania and Latvia, normally something republics under the federation would present in the Russian Duma first.

 

The victory over Estonia, although igniting sincere controversy in Russian society whether it was just or worth it and causing heavier political protests from activists, was celebrated heavily in the Kremlin. Russia for Russians!

 

 

The economy in the other republics that signed however, went into freefall. The switch to the Russian currency and the costs of militarization caused outrage among the inhabitants of these Republics.  Petitions against this military policy started to arise, but it was clear that these states needed Russia as a strong foundation to leech off.. After all, what else did they have?

 

 

Highly explosive inter-continental missiles where pointed at Sweden, Poland , Lithuania & Latvia. To Poland, the non-aggression pact was signed with the insurance that these missiles will not be launched at any cost. The three remaining states, had to play their cards carefully now.

 

 

Several Tupolev Tu-160's are deployed and restored to help with the Iberian war effort against Spain. They would refuel at Serbia, and then go straight to the front. However, two of the 15 deployed aircraft received wrong orders and purpose from the high command. Under the dictate from the Kremlin, an 'accident' would happen to several Italian destroyers already battling against the Spanish fleet. A formal apology is being drafted as the planes leave from Crimea.

 

The IMU is performing excellently so far. With the American's in turmoil and the European states trying to compete with their shamble economies, Russia's risky flooding of investments and shareholding in major companies was pricy but rewarding. The agricultural market was primarily dominated by Russia, telecommunications was next on the Russian agenda. Though, the government is surprised why the demand for LADA's is so low in Europe.

 

Duma speaker Sergey Naryskhin assured the world, that everything is alright.

The Russians start funding the Japanese opposition forces, supplying them with various weaponry and contractors that will help them against the empire. The government bribes individuals in the Japanese media, convincing several newspapers and broadcasters to vouch for the opposition through fabricated, but convinceable facts of the 'terrors made by the Japanese government". Military retreats from the annexed territories, and is stationed in the Southern borders after the formation of the Eastern-Bloc. Russia decreases agricultural exports to BLOC countries, in the hope to hurt India's already lacking agricultural infrastructure bad. This is not reported nor official, however.

 

With NASA's and European space budgets to their access, the Russians start developing an IMU space station. However, Italian funds are not used and advised to be used for their economy. Details and its functionality will be discussed with IMU members, but the committee is established.

~Switzerland~

 

The Economic President signs all trade agreements with foreign countries whom offer it: Italia and Poland.

 

The Defense President takes a few days to reply to the Training Agreement, but reluctantly agrees: if, they accept a Declaration of Non-Aggression.

 

The Foreign President then calls for Vladimir Putin, rather distraught over the recent arrest, which news slowly climbed the chain of command. The President demands to know why the reporter was arrested and that they be released into Swiss care, any reasonable crime committed with proof, would be repaired. 

 

 

In other news, the nation has become rather self reliant on food and earthly materials. Smaller jobs such as farming and mining and all in that aspect rather quickly lowers the unemployment rate as people scatter to the jobs. 

 

To each of the Nation's that accepted Switzerland's offer of financial aid: Armed transports are sent to each capitol with 10 billion $(US equivalent), in order to help stabilize their economy. With each shipment is a man who informs the receivers "This is to be used to repair economic damages, not for the government's play money, please respect this."

 

Along with Switzerland's recent interactions on the airwaves, the Media sets out to create a network across Europe that portrays large news the Swiss hear of the World, bringing any major acts to the eyes of the public.

The United States of America

 

California wasn't a Republic for long. Although it had officially declared independence, there was still a large population of Americans throughout the continental state that believed that California's new government was more oppressive than the United States and was an ploy by the Confederates to encourage more nations to secede, just so they could have the power to themselves. President Collier knew this wasn't true, but he used the resentment to his advantage. Under the treason clause of an old Civil War charter, the United States had the right to invade any state that claimed independence. An occupation was born. A large part of the U.S Army is sent in to occupy California and the CIA Blacklists radical politicians. The President claims that it is not in the will of the people, since most Californians historically have had a high sense of nationalism, but is instead the works of corrupt and greedy extremists. He also did not know why the Californians were rioting for States rights when the states had never had more rights.

 

Californian Occupation Force:

They are non-aggression peacekeeping forces and are ordered not to fire unless it is for urgent self-defense.

Ironically, the President was smiling in his office. He had the perfect advantage in this situation. The Levies. California's coast was extensive and large, and the High-Tech levies needed maintenance. However, the problem was that the levies were connected to each other, so in order for California to be truly independent, it would have to lose its levy system and in turn face the wrath of rising waters. And if California did have the nerve to face nature and secede, an embargo would be placed upon them and their food supply, most of which comes from the Mid-West, would be cut off and the people would starve - blaming the disaster on the Californian government. The President also hopes to increase his influence in the Confederate party and allows the embargo on Cuba to be lifted. It was a useless embargo anyway, as Cuba was the least of America's problems.

 

America's feudal system was slowly going back on track. Collier had the support of both majority parties, and the radicals were calming down. Any state that threatened secession would risk Federal action and the loss of their levy system if they were a coastal state. If not, they'd starve and be landlocked. The Levies were now also leverage.

 

 

To increase it's economic prosperity and to help pay for the maintenance of its military, the United States starts the production of hundreds of wartime power-efficient factories in the Mid-West United States. They would make militaristic gear and employ thousands, as well as increase American capacity for its military capability. An IRM (Institute of Military Research_ building is also put up in the area. These factories that would overhaul America's might and increase its capability, is set to take ten years ((ten pages)) to finish.

 

The U.S Board of Education adds a Patriot Law in all public schools around the state. Like in the times of the Cold-War, all Americans are taught to have a high sense of nationalism and be proud of their country. Sectionalism is wiped out in schools and future generations ((20 pages)) would be extremely American and non-feudal. America's biggest threat was internal, as foreign forces could impose little threat when it was guarded by two large Oceans and the population was armed to the teeth.

THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN

 

 

After hearing of the recent arrivals of President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation and President Collier of the United States in London, in addition to hearing that Germany wishes to engage in talks, Prime Minister Leigh gets an idea, deciding to invite representatives of Switzerland and Ireland to London as well, intending to turn the coincidental visitations of the two superpower leaders into an international conference to be called The London Convention.

 

The Prime Minister will also meet with each of these representatives/leaders in turn, privately, as well as request that they all meet at the same time, on behalf of King Charles and the British Parliament. These nations will include Ireland, Switzerland, the United States, Russia, and Germany. (Will PM each of you via Skype. Please add me. If not in the FRP chat, ask over Forum PM for Skype name)

 

The trading pact with Poland is accepted, and a defense pact is organized with Iceland (NPC), although the British Government also requests mining and drilling rights for their corporations off of Iceland’s shores.

 

The British SAS would be sent to train alongside Seal Team 6 and the Russian elites, as per the United States' request.

 

The British Government would issue a large research grant to Oxford University, hoping that they might discover something of use to the military, or possibly towards finding a replacement energy source to oil or reverse the severe climate change that has impacted the planet. The British Government also intends to speak to Ireland on the issue of possibly creating a joint space program during the King's financial talks.

 

 

Finally, inspired by King Charles' "Paragon of Good" speech, the popular British band Coldplay attempts to release a new song inspired by the speech and the United Kingdom's "heroic" actions in World War II. King Charles flies to Ireland as per request of the Irish leader. He is accompanied by the Minister of Finance, and both are guarded TIGHTLY by MI-6 whilst on visitation in Ireland in cooperation with the Irish Secret Service, in case leftist extremists or other parties wish to harm the monarch.

 

Whilst in Ireland, King Charles would be portrayed in the media as playing a game of GAA (a popular Irish sport) with the Leader of Ireland, the football version of the game of course. Although the leader of Ireland’s team wins the game, the King laughs heartily and is in good spirits at the outcome.

 

Whilst in Ireland, the King also gives a speech to the Irish people, recorded publicly by the media and broadcasted over the BBC and other news networks.

 

 

"Good people of Ireland,

 

It is good to see all of you today! I have been enjoying myself here in Ireland; the people here, I must say, are very friendly, and have accepted my visit with open arms. Irish hospitality, I suppose."

The audience laughs lightly.

 

"In any case, I give this speech today to reaffirm our undying friendship with the Irish people. We've come a long way in a century and a half towards repairing our relationships, as is evident by my visit today. We both share a common history, a common language, and generally share common cultures; we are more than simply friends. We are brothers."

The audience takes a moment to give polite applause to the monarch.

 

"...but unfortunently, this world becomes more and more unstable by the hour, threatening all of us."

The King sighs.

"With imperialist and radical powers growing more greedy by the day, a powder keg is almost all but certain to explode in Europe. When that time comes, the Western democracies and constitutional monarchies must fight together to preserve our lifestyles, our autonomy, and our-"

Suddenly, one of the King's staff members interrupt his speech, passing him a note. The staff member whispers something in his ear.

 

"Italy has invaded Spain. God help us all..."

The King scowls lightly. "These days may already be upon us; I'm afraid that I must get in contact with the Prime Minister of Great Britain over the telephone. I hope that you'll forgive me, but in truth, my speech was over in any case. I sincerely hope that Ireland will stand with Britain in these days of trouble. Pardon me."

The crowd is silent as the King leaves, simply shocked to hear of the Spanish invasion. However, they politely give him a standing ovation as he exits the room to contact the British Government.

 

After discussing the situation, he would decide that a formal meeting with the Irish leader is in order.

The United Kingdom of Great Britain begins to prepare a naval and army task force to assist Spain and Portugal if it comes to it. Amongst the land task force would be a force of 17,000 British Troops, 82 Tanks, a number of armored personnel carriers, and other support vehicles.

 

Amongst the naval force would be a number of frigates and destroyers, supported by 2 Trafalgar Class submarines, set up in a convoy formation to protect the troop transports and the jewel of the task force, a Queen Elizabeth-Class aircraft carrier known as the H.M.S Queen Elizabeth, stocked with RAF Harriers, Tornadoes, and Eurofighters.

 

The task force would stand by, prepared to sail south from Britain to Northern Spain to intervene in the situation on the Iberian peninsula. The British issue an ultimatum to Italia, requesting that they withdraw their troops from the Iberian peninsula immediately and cease their invasion of Spain. Italia would also be added to the United Kingdom's standing trade blacklist.

 

 

Portugal and Spain are asked to explain the situation on the peninsula in further detail to the United Kingdom. Then, they might intervene militarily, in exchange for the Azore Islands to the west of Portugal.

The British ambassador wouldn't be happy that they're unwilling to cede the Azores to them, but nevertheless, the United Kingdom will still help to liberate the Iberian Peninsula.

 

The task force's land forces, however, for reasons unknown, is doubled before the force is ordered to Portugal. The RAF would base itself out of the airbase in the Azores, as suggested by the Portuguese, and the transport ships would request permission to land in Portugal and unload their troops, under the command of General Sir Nicholas Patrick Carter, to join their mobilizing forces in preperation should conflict break out.

 

The fleet remains in the Azores as well, ready to defend the airbase there if need be.

 

The British government reaffirms it's ultimatum to Italia: Get out of Iberia, or the British will stand by the Portuguese and the Spanish to protect their independence and free democracies.

The Islamic State of Turkey

 

The very throne of what was once the glorious Ottoman Empire had prospered for years because of their placement. Over the modern century much had changed. As was revealed by the NATO governments, Turkey had been secretly supplying weapons to the Islamic State whom had currently ruled over a large portion of the middle east. Protests and rallies were held in support of ISIS and eventually during the NATO invasion, Turkey volunteers personally made their way to fight for those of the greater islamic nation. The religious belief overswept the nation itself and eventually with support, an figure-head of an extremist party named Kemal Gundogdu had managed to rise to power.

 

Under normal circumstances the government would have ousted this party and enacted a coup, However the spread of the Islamic fate had even managed to seep into the very core of the armed forces. It has actually been said that Kemal had utilized his connections with the military and made promises of a greater islam should he find himself as head of the government. However anyone who spoke such words vanished within a day. The nation was ruled with an iron-fist and anyone who turned against their beliefs was sentenced to death.

 

On the economic front things were going smoothly. Turkey had begun major deals with the war-torn nations of Iran and Iraq by sending them the surplus of food currently in Turkey's possession and allowing the nation to make a fortune.

 

A broadcast was made on all televisions across the nation. The president appeared, surrounded by two military uniformed solders.

 

"Good evening my Turkish citizens. Today is a special day, a day which will go down in the history of the Islamic people. For years the middle-east, a portion which once belonged to that of the Ottoman empire has been engulfed in conflict for the years since the Second World War. Foreign religions have plagued and infected the lands that were once pure. With all these issues however one nation has stood up against these impure and foreigners. These brothers fought for Greater Islam and sought to expel any nonbelievers that dared to mock our faith. They fought against all odds and prevailed, but now they are stagnant. They alone cannot continue on their path to a greater Islam. They have fought alone all this time due to the failure of action of past presidents. But no more, as of today I decree it. From today on-wards, the Islamic Caliphate and Turkey shall work hand in hand to unite Islam and expand our faith to even greater lengths as the Ottoman Empire of the old had once done. It is the dawn of a new era in which the new Caliphate shall lead the charge. Let this be a proclamation to all other nations within the islamic claimed-lands, for the better of our future. The time to unite is now."

 

After the broadcast had concluded a grand military parade  and thousands of local celebrations were hosted in all across the country. And new flag was raised in place of the old flag. A new era was coming.

Mod Event --- ALL NATIONS READ

THE FIFTH FRENCH REPUBLIC

The French President watched his troops parade triumphantly along the Champs Elysee. Did he believe they were ready for what wa to come? Naturally. However, a strange sort of feeling gripped the President. He was sending these men to die, and not truly for the benefit of France, but for that of the Italians. He shrugged off his thought, knowing that he would get the northern coast, but at the same time it was a risk. There would be no declaration of war, only death.

Paratroopers flooded Catalonia, Navarra, and the rest of the Northern Spanish Coast. Nearly 50,000 men in total. Following these paratroopers, hundreds of tanks rolled across the Spanish border through the cover of the mountains. Superior French aircraft knocked unknowing Spanish aircraft out of the sky. Soon, the French occupied most of Northern Spain, and threatened the lines set by the advancing Portuguese. 

Once the invasion stalemated and set up a front line, the French President released a statement for all the world to hear.

"The French government will support the Italian government unconditionally, we demand that the Iberians step down, and take a seat at the negotiating table with the Italians and our diplomatic envoy. Otherwise, the full might of the French military will bear down upon the Iberians."

JAPANESE CONGRESSIONALIST REBELS

In response to the posturing of the Imperialists, the Congressionalists move to fortify their positions around Honshu and Shikoku. A naval defensive line is taken up in Tokyo Harbor, the Imperialists foolish plan to attempt to blockade the blockade would be one they regret, as they become easier targets for what submarines the Congressionalists possess. A few Imperialist ships are sunk, and their strategy would have to be rethought. Those they bring near the coast controlled by the Congress would be fired upon by Land to Sea Missiles and sunk. Aircraft also fly brief raids on ships above the range of their AA weapons, which exposes an issue in modern naval combat. Aircraft can now fly higher than the AA can shoot, and effectively hit their targets. The Imperialists would be free to do with this knowledge as they'd like, but it will not be released to the world unless they choose to do so.

Meanwhile, Congressionalists begin to support small scale riots in Imperialist territory, as many weary Japanese who have lived under democracy their entire lives fear the rule of a single Emperor. Even in Kyoto there are riots although they are small. On Honshu, a small Congressionalist force begins to advance toward Niigata, hoping to take the strategically important port. They meet heavy resistance though, but the land forces are split evenly enough for the fight to not sway in one direction or the other. However, the advancing Congressionalists do possess an advantage, the force split from those protecting Kyoto is significantly smaller, and therefore the march on Niigata could end up being one of struggle for the Imperialists.

Defensive lines are established to keep an eye on the army stationed to protect Kyoto, in case they attempt to storm Tokyo. Artillery barrages also target the front lines of the Imperial forces.

STATE OF THE SCANDINAVIAN AND BALTIC STATES

Russian encroachment and fear of instability in the region marred the Baltic states. The states of Lithuania and Livonia watch the Russians with horror as Estonia is swallowed whole. The Finnish government publicly condemns the invasion and quickly move to align with the Swedes. The remaining Baltic States do the same.

Lithuania, Livonia, and Finland jointly decide to form a Union with Sweden in order to protect themselves from Russia and be part of a stronger nation. 

Meanwhile, in Estonia an armed insurgency begins to rise against the newly installed Putin regime. The insurgents bomb Russian supply lines, attack Russian officials, and organize raids on Russian armories. Meanwhile, peaceful protests begin in major Estonian cities and agitate for a Russian retreat. 

A group of Estonian hackers make a bold move for the good of their nation. From their facility far from Estonia itself, the hackers target the power grids of Western Russia. They act quickly and use tactics which they actually learned in Russia. Within a matter of 6 hours from the beginning of the attack, everything from Western Ukraine to Saint Petersburg to Belarus have lost power. However, the grid of Estonia itself remains online, as it is still independent of the Russian grid. 

This would put the Russians who lost power into a frenzy, and panic soon sets in. It reveals a problem though, and may end up being fortunate to the Russians in the long term as they know are aware of the dangers of a single, aging power grid.

Japanese Imperial Faction

 

The Japanese commanders quickly report in what they were told by the frontline forces, and the Empress in her Palace meets with the High Command.

 

"They have taken smart defensive positions and attempt to hold out long enough to convince us to take back our reforms. We, though, have far higher numbers and the will of the Kami on our side. Please take care of it."

 

The Imperialist forces respond quickly, their artillery shooting back at the Congressional forces. The Imperialist army, now mustered at Kyoto, begins to march towards Hamamatsu, where it will then regroup and begin an attack on Tokyo. The Navy protecting Sapporo is split and half is moved to Niigata, where they begin to barrage the army attacking it. The Imperialist airforce, including its Taiwanese divisions, use the information that aircraft can fly higher than AA can hit and launch raids on Tokyo Harbor and the Congressional airports, hoping to knock out the enemy's ability to fight back in the sky. Whenever Congressional patrols are met, dogfights are initiated by Imperial fighters.

 

The Navy takes a more forward approach, beginning to engage the Congressionals when they can, and the blockade is removed but the Imperialist ships, accompanied by fighter squads, patrol the area and shoot down any and all ships approaching Tokyo.

 

The police in Imperial territory gets increases in funding, and protests are supported in Congressional land against their starting of a civil war within the oldest monarchy of the world.

 

Firebombs are launched at the government sector of Tokyo from Imperial bombers in an attempt to force the Congressionalists to come to the bargaining table.

The Russian Reaction

 

 

The State Committee of Emergency is established as the Russian Federation faces sincere obstacles.

 

- The SCE sends a 100,000 soldier 'Police Force' from primarily Belarus to stabilize the region in Estonia. Water and eletricity is cut off in Estonia until the insurgents surrender.

 

- The SCE enables the emergency generators to power up the necessities. The Russian State traces the cause back to Estonian hackers with ease, it is their groundwork after all. But the power will have to be brought back manually. The deployed prisoner force, will do this. {{2 pages}}

 

- The SCE increases police patrols throughout Russia and temporarily closes its borders. Russia suddenly goes dark.

 

Putin spoke to the world:

 

 

"The Swedish State decided to be the agressor by hacking into our eletrical grids to disable it, harming thousands of lives in Urban Russia. They also consider arming Estonian Neo-Nazi's to fight the Estonian population and Russian police forces as politically correct. The ESC will handle the eletrical issue and increase Russian cyber security, there will be consueqences to this outrageous attack against the Russian people."

 

Russia repplies to the 'Swedish Offensive' by distrupting their Banking and military networks through excessive radio spam and package pressure, hoping it will succeed.  The Missiles are put on stand-by.

 

Meanwhile, Russian submarines are mobilised to the Swedish water  border carrying nuclear waste. Suddenly stopping as they suddenly are 'shut down'.

 

The people go on the streets in protest against Putin, this time using minor violence. Each protest seems to get worse as the Police petitions the Duma for better , modern arms.

SHORT POST

 

Prime Minister Leigh is shocked to hear of the French joining the invasion of Iberia.

 

He had known that the French had been unusually quiet as of late, and that something fishy had been going on, but he hadn't suspected them to outright join in the invasion of Ibera. At the worst, he had expected them to sit on the sidelines.

No matter. Over a secure line, he gave the order to the RAF General in the Azores.

 

RAF fighter planes are launched from the Azores and the H.M.S Queen Elizabeth, and broke the recently renewed military alliance with France, engaging the French air force in an attempt to regain control of the Iberian skies.

 

 

The British troops would join the Portuguese lines, as soon as the High Chancellor approves their landing in Portuguese territory.

 

The Prime Minister and the King of Britain both sign and send the following letter to the French government:

"You call yourselves defenders of democracy, a republic, yet assist the Italians in subjugating the Spaniards and the Portuguese.

 

You are hypocrites.

 

All pacts and deals between Britain and France are hereby nullified, until you withdraw from the Iberian peninsula.

Republic of India

 

Anail was pleased with the acceptance of the alliances from both China and Japan this would benefit them all in the future. He sent an offer to both of them to build a joint research/training facility. (PM!) 

 

  President Anail looks in disgust as the Bangladesh refugees break out into a riot, causing many soldiers to be harmed or killed, as well as many refugees being gunned down by the Indian soldiers. The order for lethal force was quickly ended by the commander in charge. Instead the refugees are aloud to stay, in refugee camps. Bangladesh is sent an offer to join the Indian Republic. ((MOD)) the occupation force at the Bangladeshi border is increased to 200,000 to help put down any more potential riots that may ensue due to 'unsafe' conditions of the refugee camp.

 

The Maoist campaign continues as usually but the Indian government uses an old American tactic using drone strikes on 'suspected' targets, this would go also be the same tactic used against the Muslim extremist. Anail would use all he could to get rid of these troublesome terrorist!
