The Khedivate of Egypt

 

 

Sudan

 

The siege of Khartoum had dragged on for several days to the surprise of the Egyptian forces. Finally however, in the early hours of the morning, another thundering crack of artillery shells hitting the cold ground resounded. Radio reports of Egyptian forces breaking past the Sudanese line came across all channels. One last push forward, and the cry for piece sounded throughout the city. The reigning government of the fallen nation was marched to meet the main occupational army. They had hoped for a lighter peace if they surrendered quickly but to their shock they soon found that almost all of Sudan had been captured, Khartoum being one of the last strongholds. The Treaty of Sudan is officially signed, and Sudan is annexed into greater Egypt. Much celebration was had, but ultimately was cut short. There was work to do to the east. Occupational garrisons are left to mop up any descent while the main army moves north.

Egyptian-Israeli Border

 

It was a shame that the Israelis had declared war on the caliphate and her allies, they could have been a useful friend. Their brazenness would be their downfall. While a considerable amount was off fighting further east, Egyptian divisions had been piling up at the border. When the signal was given, the invading army launch an attack with a force of 250,000 soldiers, 2,500 tanks, and various artillery. The defending army would be shelled to pieces while air raids are conducted, this would continue until softened enough for a spear head assault into the line of men. The war would be hard fought, but a key ally would turn the tide...

The Arabian Front

 

Insurgent like tactics were to be expected by what remained of the worn out Saudi divisions but never less still stall progress. Reinforcements of a further 50,000 soldiers arrive in Yanbo and Jiddah. The small town of Yanbo is quickly captured and 25,000 soldiers link up with the northern expeditionary force after small skirmishes. Those landing in Jiddah slowly make their way into the port city, Egyptian bombers flying over head in support. This southern encirclement would hopefully lead to a decisive victory against the small bands of fighters. Never the less, the Egyptians match the fervor for war with that of the falling nations armies, the prospect of liberating two of Islam's most holy centers tantalizing to each soldier's mind. The march to Medina and Mecca continues.

Back at home, domestic affairs go well. Factories and shipyards continue to be built across the country, and with the newly acquired southern territory, raw materials and a cheap work force flood Egypt. In a show of aid to the Sudanese, food and medical supplies are sent in droves. Further more, civil workers arrive, rebuilding and renewing the new province's ruined and old infrastructure. Egyptian rule would be a beneficial one.

 

Diplomatic envoys are sent to Libya and Algiers. They talk of another Arab Federation, this time one that would not fail. If they were to unite, economic and military benefits were quite obvious. No more would they be oppressed and stepped on by western powers; they would stand together as brothers and sisters of common faith and background. 

 

The most glorious announcement of a newly formed alliance is broadcast thought Egypt and her territories, as well as to their armies abroad. The German Federation and Egypt have come to terms of a grand alliance, strengthening them both. Moral is through the roof as word that the German war machine would come to their aid is heard.

The Republic of India 

 

President Anail, smiled as his Chief Diplomat told him that Bangladesh would now be apart of the Republic. He then moved to his desk, as he also received news of the Chinese invasion and the Emperor's plea for economic support. Anail, signed off a deal with China that it would send three sets of loans of several billion dollars to fund the Chinese war machine in exchange for their help hunting and kill Maoist rebels that still plagued their border.

THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN

 

 

"Britain has entered a war to free the oppressed peoples of Iberia, not to combat France. We wish no ill will on the French people, but rather, in fact, offer them good tidings."

 

The British Prime Minister was now addressing the world on public television.

 

 

"Almost one hundred years ago, we invaded Normandy; not in the name of Imperialism, but in the name of freedom. Our Canadian and American brothers fought alongside us, and together, we defeated Nazi Germany and freed the French from oppression, ushering in a new golden age for the world.

 

Now, we fight to free the French from another form of oppression, yet another oppressive government: their own.

 

Hopefully, by the end of this war, we will have shown Europe that the United Kingdom will not stand for Imperialists such as the French, or the Italians, or even the Germans. Britain will not rest until the French are free once again, under a stable regime constructed in the name of peaceful democracy.

 

Earlier this evening, the German Chancellor and the French Foreign Minister walked out of the London Convention, in the presence of his Majesty himself. This was a spit in the face to the United Kingdom, Ireland, Russia, Switzerland, and Iberia, member nations of Pax Europa. We are DEDICATED to the prospect of peace in Europe, anti-imperialism, and the survival of our society.

 

Some believe that Imperialism is inevitable, that it's a 'dog eat dog' world. Well it is my own opinion, and the opinion of the majority of the British government's, that Imperialism can be avoided through international cooperation and peaceful trade. There are still enough resources in this world to go around, still enough to provide for the European population. All we need to do is to simply cooperate; actions such as those taken by the corrupt French government are both unnecessary, and unpopular.

 

We must continue the good fight in France, not for our own purposes, but for their future, and for the betterment of Europe as a whole.

 

 

As a rather famous British Prime Minister once said during World War II, 'We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.'

The Northern British Expeditionary Force (NBEF) would have made the landing earlier successfully, on the beaches of Normandy and successfully met up with the paratroops and the SAS, but they had been pinned down 10 miles into their landing zone. The NBEF continues to fight against the French, hoping to draw troops away from the southern front.

 

Meanwhile, on the southern front, the Southern British Expeditionary Force (SBEF) fights alongside the Iberian military, cooperating with them every step of the way.

The RAF continues to soar over the skies of France, engaging in combat with the French military and targeting railroads, highways, airports, factories, and military facilities. In cooperation with the RAF would be a number of Russian Hypersonic Bombers... 

 

 

However, the RAF and leased bombers would specifically attempt to steer clear from destroying civilian businesses, non-military infrastructure, and rural towns, as the British intend to attempt to win the "hearts and minds" of the French population.

The British troops fight on, their government deciding that they won't withdraw from the war with France. At least not at this point... however, the British are still open for negotiations with the French if they choose to come to the negotiating table in the near future.

The main British land strategy, notably, is to push forwards into France from both the north and south, and attempt to battle their way towards Paris. British soldiers are specifically ordered to treat the French people with respect and dignity. Any oppression shown towards the civilian populace, and crimes committed against them, would be severely punished through a series of military tribunals and strict punishments enacted upon troops with their malice in their hearts. Therefore, the Royal Army obeys their commanders' orders, for the most part.

 

There are always exceptions, but they are quickly dealt with.

The Royal Navy would assume the following strategy:

The Royal Navy's aircraft carriers and nuclear weapons submarines are kept in port, carefully watched by British Coast Guard. It would be nearly impossible for French submarines or surface vessels to attack these ships without being spotted and attacked by the Coast Guard or the RAF.

 

The fleet that had accompanied the NBEF would attempt to hold the Normandy coast, keeping close to shallow waters in case the French decide to play dirty. They would be on high alert, always scanning the waters with their SONAR and RADAR.

 

The remaining naval task force in the Azores remains there for the moment, deeming the British channel too dangerous at the moment to attempt to cross.

 

Smaller British ships begin to lay mines along the British southern coast, hoping that it will help to deter any unwanted French attacks. They're carefully marked, so that British and Pax Europa ships can carefully avoid them.

The Royal Marriage between Princess Laura, the daughter of the Prince of Wales, and the Iberian prince has certainly gained a lot of publicity in the press, helping to provide the British an escape from the war stories from France. Though Princess Laura is a liberalistic, modern girl, she nevertheless enjoys her new marriage.

Thousands of British men and women would be called to join the RAF, Royal Army, and Royal Navy to help bolster forces. The British naval program is highly invested in, and shipyards would begin to construct new destroyers, frigates, several cruisers, and a new aircraft carrier. The Islamic Caliphate

The Arabians were losing badly. The town of Arar was barely able to be evacuated before Caliphate forces attacked the remaining garrison, seizing the town with only moderate casualties. As the Arabian division sent to attack Iraq travels north, they encounter the main portion of the Turkish ground forces pushing south for Riyadh, and either must retreat or face certain death.

As Turkish forces near the capital, however, a true bloodbath is emerging as the Caliph's army nears Hail under the command of general Saeed Abu Mohammed. Here, the Arabs have elected to make their stand. Airstrikes are constant. Tank battles occur on the roads as the Islamists try to push toward the city limits, and firefights take hundreds of lives in the mountains. With each passing day, thousands die in the battle: the defenders have the advantage of being dug in with relatively powerful forces, but the Caliphate has air superiority and as many reinforcements as it needs. It seems inevitable that the result of the battle should become clear in the coming days.

What had been a straightforward expansion of the glorious Islamic state has now turned into a larger-scale war with the addition of Israel to the conflict. What Islamic troops had been stationed near the border with the country were mostly there for intimidation, and they pull back at first to avoid unnecessary casualties. Israel is allowed to take Damascus uncontested, but as a result the Islamic State is able to quickly and efficiently reorganize its ground forces to counterattack. Approximately 100,000 troops were still held in reserve to be deployed as needed to Arabia, but now they relocate to join approximately 50,000 troops who have retreated from the Israeli attack. Brazenly marching through Jordan towards the West Bank, they aim to flank the advancing Hebrews, declaring in the process that Jordan rightfully belongs to the Caliphate, an issue which has never been formally addressed despite frequent unhindered incursions into Jordanian territory. Israeli airstrikes severely hinder progress, but the fight rages on between them and the Turks, and Islamic command is optimistic of defeating the troublesome Air Force.

An official statement from the Caliphate declares holy war upon the Jewish state, and calls for all muslim Palestinians to rise up and free themselves from their current rulers.

Meanwhile with an eye on the future, Turkey is commissioned to make proper uniforms and helmets for the Caliph's army. When the war is over, there will be a fully modernized army at his disposal...

The King of Iberia would speak to the press.

 

"Some call us Imperialists for 'taking' Spain. However they chose to enter in a union with us. Why? For the betterment of our unique and close cultures! We are brethern no matter what dialect of Iberian you speak, be that Portuguese, Spainish, Galician or even Catalan in some areas. But we aren't only brothers of Iberia, but of Europe. Such as the British and the Russians. They've shown us compasion and true friendship. The French only wanted war to make sure their people would survive. Which I fully support, but there were other ways, trade and friendship over a gun and war. But we do not wage war agaisnt the French because we want revenge, we do it to cut the cancerous imperialism, so it may not spread. Although I can see that it has spread to Germany, they let the misguided french murder the Russian Paratroopers, our brethern, even if not by blood. If this isn't a sign of weakmindedness and old thinking, I do not know what is. Iberia accepts all trade agreements.

Iberia starts the construction of armament facturies from russian blueprints.

Iberia continues recruiting more men to the army, making their total numbers 220.000 Men in the French front.

Iberia after some policies that made mothers with children recieve more money and help in finding houses, they suffer a baby boom. A much needed one.

Iberia sends a trade agreement to Brazil, and hopes to strengthen it's relations with the south American country.

Iberia rejoices as Dom Infante João Felipe dos Santos de Bragança-Saxe-Coburgo e Gota now married Laura Windsor, although they weren't offcially wed yet the young couple seems to like eachother.

The δικτάτορας had poorly judged the state of affairs upon the border with Turkish-held Thrace, evidenced by the sudden reaction to the build-up of Greek troops in the region. The immediate response to the worrying turn of events and deployment of the Turkish fleet within the Aegean, effectively neutralising and Greek naval power in the region was to swiftly send an apology to Turkey for the possible infringement upon national borders, and the withdrawal of most soldiers to Thessalonica. Following the concentration of remaining Greek forces to Thessalonica, the navy is moved from ports in the Aegean to Epirus and deployed within the Adriatic.

 

 

Following the worrying display of a lack of naval ability the Greek government begins investment plans into a new Aircraft Carrier in the ports on Epirus, the project broadcast as the new flagship for the Greek naval forces. With hopes this will inject a new boom into growth within the country and creates hundreds of jobs on the project. ((12 pages to complete)).

 

Industry is switched to maintain a focus upon the production of armaments and mechanised vehicles upon a larger scale with regions in Achaea being given large grants from the government to support the transferral of a focus onto aviation, hoping to expand the bomber fleet by another hundred planes. A new aviation branch is formed under the direct control of the δικτάτορας and stationed within the region of Kastoria, the move covert and the divisions largely small. 

 

 

0800: Grecian - Macedonian Border

All throughout the night Greek troops have been gathering in multiple locations, slowly mobilising into drawn up forces.

At 0805 Army Group A, under the command of Athathis Marinos, begins an advance north tracing the E65 up to the border with Macedonia, halting in position until 0830. Meanwhile Army Group B races from Thessalonica up the E75 through into Macedonia, the leading regiments made up of mechanised armour racing forwards through the poorly protected Macedonian countryside towards the capital located within the north of the city, transferred forces break off at regular intervals to secure munitions and supply depots while the main forces aims to capturing the capital and forcing enemy forces to capitulate. 

 

By 0845 Army Group A has crossed the border and engaged the majority of the border-guard forces within the city of Bitola, urban fighting raging fiercely. Aviation forces from the Greek side are deployed in an attempt to disrupt travelling enemy forces and bomb key defensive positions either surrounding Bitola or on the road to Skopje, capital of Macedonia.

 

Upon the successful breakthrough of Group A surrounding Bitola the army is to split into two, and pursue separate lines of advances into the country. All forces are given the order to fire if only fired at and not engage the populace - upon the taking of BItola and the mechanised forces of Group B breaching the borders a message is sent to the Macedonians:

 

"Government of the Federal Republic of Macedonia. It is recognised now by the Hellenic Republic that it is the time for you to return from your wayward place as an independent state to the mothering gaze of the Grecian people. Surrender now and your country shall be incorporated as an autonomous part to the Greek country. If not, you shall face inevitable death."

- The CSA and NCR are presented with offers to engage in trade, and the promise of support in their engagements within America. 

 

- Reserves are mobilised and instantly pressed into service within Macedonia if resistance is not halted, the intention being to encircle enemy forces with the use of mechanised brigades.

Macedonia - Greek Conflict
The Macedonians lay down their arms almost as soon as the fighting begins. The country is simply to weak and wrecked by economic disparity to fight back. It's citizens even favored returning to the Greeks who had become a sort of symbol for stability in the region. So with open arms, the Macedonian people join the Hellenic Republic and the old Macedonian government is deposed.

Franco-Iberian War

The Nantes-Lyon line holds firm against the artillery bombardment and answers instead with something even more fierce, land-to-land missiles bombard the enemy position, hoping to dislodge some of their more entrenched positions. After the initial shock of their missile barrages, squadrons of drones fly above Iberian patrols and wreck havoc on advancing armor columns that move toward the line.

In the North, in Normandy, the British make very minor gains before they are halted. The French deploy their best special operations soldiers to the region, and divert their Anti-Terror police, the GIGN, to the region for additional support. Local police forces who like in the United States were heavily armed after the beginning of the French's war on terror, also join the fight on the Norman front. 

The French propaganda machine spins into action, hoping to rally even more fighters to the front. This war as seen for one of survival for the entire French way of life, for if they lose it is feared that the French people will be subjugated by the Iberians, Russians, and British.

The Caliphate Jihad

Israel's air force is blind sided by the German's and in the initial wave several planes are knocked clear out of the air. However, Israel's ground invasion grinds ever forward, putting pressure on the Syrian city of Damascus in the South, and Homs in the North. Israel is known for their brutal land combat efficiency and unless more troops are committed on the Syrian front, those cities are certainly under threat to fall.

Meanwhile in the country's south, the Egyptian advance was met with stiff resistance. A defensive line was drawn and concessions came at the cost of hundreds of Egyptian bodies. The war along the southern line quickly became one of inches, with no clear gains being made in one direction or the other. This was largely in part thanks to the efforts made by the Israeli drone industry. Being the world's largest producer of drones and exporter, the Israeli military utilized hundreds of drones along the Egyptian front to allow pilots to fight the Germans and Turkish alone. 

The fight for the skies over the Middle East quickly becomes the stuff of legends as Arab and Israeli planes dog fight for superiority with yet no clear victor. Saudi aircraft also aid in the fight and give the Israelis vital support. The German air force, while in the early stages of attack did major damage to the air force, was put under some semblance of control. The fight for the skies would be a tough one, but one that the Israelis still were capable of winning if luck would have it.

IRAN

The Ayatollahs demanded it. Their embarrassment in 2018 when they attacked with the West would finally be repaired. Mobilization quickly began to support the Saudi Arabians, and crush the pretender Caliphate once and for all. The Sunni scum would be broken once and for all. A massive offensive begins with hopes of taking the Iraqi city of Baghdad. The Iranian offensive consists of roughly 300,000 men, a sizeable number of 500 armored vehicles, and a majority of the Iranian air force is deployed.

Another major asset of Iran is the Iranian Navy, which is deployed in the Persian gulf and one of the largest in the region. The Iranian Navy launches sea-to-land missiles at the advancing Caliphate in Saudi Arabia, hoping to slow their advance.

Meanwhile Oman, Qatar, the UAE, and Bahrain answer the call to arms from the Arabians, believing themselves to be next. The Yemeni do not answer though, staying relatively silent in the whole affair. The strategic importance of the UAE and Qatar is that they each bring to the table relatively modern air forces, with weaponry purchased from the United States. Their air power immediately goes into service to counter the German, Turkish, and Egyptian air power.

Two years after the creation of the NCR, the state has done little of note. What little is seen from an outsiders perspective are the brief video clips of escapees and some pictures taken by satellites. What does filter through the tight net of surveillance is a mixed bag of pleasant and thoroughly disturbing images.

 

While the NCR bureau of propaganda does supply their news stations and the rest of the world with liberal amounts of pictures, most depict a happy population or ranks of highly organized soldiers marching to the beat of a drum. The refugees show the ugly underbelly of the beast, with a few fuzzy images of camps and starved looking people held within. Other pictures reveal the gruesome secrets behind the many disappearances within the state. Mass graves dug deep in the desert.

 

Many of the fields throughout the nation are now producing necessary foodstuff for the population, however they are not entirely self-sufficient and send out a trade agreement to various nations. Including Iberia, Brazil, Japan & China. Australia and Russia also receive them. For Russia, the NCR offers certain advanced US technologies in exchange for large sums of oil. They also send a secret offer.

 

In the past two years, many of those pressed into service have now reached the end of their training and the standing army has increased in size. Factories in the aptly named ‘New Vegas’ pump out weaponry and equipment necessary to the barbaric art of war. Most resources are taken from the mountains near Washington and there are whispers of forced labor camps in those regions.

 

Meanwhile, the Arnodlian Youth continues to grow and it can now be safely said that at least 75% of children above 8 years old attend to their meetings. Some analysts suspect that this is part of a long-term indoctrination plan with the intention to create a radical and fanatic new generation for the NCR.

 

The part of the pacific fleet under the control of the NCR continues to patrol its waters with neverending wariness, however the NCR lacks the facilities to expand its navy and sticks to national waters unless it is sent to escort certain merchant ships across the Pacific.

 

The estimated NCR forces can be counted in the hundreds of thousands. While numbers are with held from the public, and thus the other nations, spies would probably be able to ascertain that it ranges betwen 250 & 600 thousand men. A large proportion is stationed near the ever-growing wall of steel that seperates the NCR from the USA and the CSA, while another chunk has moved closer to the Mexican border in the past months.

 

Deep within the bowels of what was once known as Area 51, many scientists with few morales and an unquenched thirst for scientific advances continue to experiment on the railgun, an ongoing project in the last decades. It is expected that they will be able to create functional prototypes in the next couple years.

 

Using data from the anti-nuclear missile system set up over the USA many years ago, the NCR also begins research on an iron curtain similar to the one found in Israel. There is no predicted completion date as there is still a long way to go.

 

Finally, after many months of silence the NCR is ready to strike out in its first campaign. But first, it sends a diplomatic envoy to the CSA with a secret offer. Were the CSA to assist it, and were Mexico to fall then the NCR offers these lands to the CSA for them to do with as they wish. If the CSA does not wish to participate in this war then the NCR is still willing to offer these lands to it, as long as it signs a treaty promising to not interfere. This treaty also demands than, at the end of the war, 50% of the population in the newly acquired CSA lands be shipped to NCR territory. There are no reasons attached to this clause.

 

 

Arnold Schwarzenegger, now a very old man, struggles up his podium to address the nation. Technicians broadcast the message across the world.

The streets of Los Angeles echoe with the roars of the crowd as columns of Arnodlian Youths march down the streets with the NCR flag in hand.

 

As the streets echoe with patriotic fervor, the underworld is full of whispers of another sort. Agents of the goverment reach the cartels infesting many parts of California, especially the vicious ones such as the MS-13 out of San Salvador. They offer tech and lands from which they can operate, in exchange the NCR wants them to focus their full might on destabilizing the cartels of Mexico before their armies push in. (Mod)

The NCR proposed to furnish them with equipment and intel in this campaign and promise them a certain freedom in the southern parts of Mexico. There are no moral limits put down and the NCR encourages the most excessive and shocking acts of violence possible, in hopes of spreading discontent and fear throughout the country, as well as wilting the Cartels will to fight. However, these proposals are only issued to high ranking gang members and kept in absolute secrecy. Schwarz Polizei casts a thick shroud over these operations and it will probably be excessively hard to link these attacks to the NCR.

 

 

Effective military forces on the Mexican border

 

300.000 soldiers and 1000 Navy SEALs (divided into teams, ready to operate at a moments notice.)

 

One aircraft carrier along with ten destroyers and it's usual escort make their way to international waters and wait alongside the Mexican coast. Along with this comes assortes armor and guns. The majority of all tanks in the NCR arsenal are focused in this region with only a smattering guarding the US border. Aircraft are also moved to nearer airbases and prepared for war.

Mexican Response

The Mexican President gasps at the prospect of war with the new NCR. Although it was not the lion that the United States was, it was certainly just as threatening to the sovereignty of Mexico. The army is mobilized along the South Western border and they establish strong defensive lines from which they can effectively fight the NCR military.

However, the government notices a large amount of cartels either going silent or ramping up their violence in the Mexican south. Thousands of soldiers have to be committed to stop their new rampage, and this causes several issues for the government that is trying to defend it's northern borders.

Military Response.

 

The Generals frowned as their front lines are shelled by drones. They decide to order every piece of artilery to shell the french line. In Nantes and Lyon the bombings would double. They also deploy their interceptures to gain air supirority. They continue bombing the french line and start entrenching themselves in. In the French land they owned they made sure no one would starve. They gave out food and even built tents to anyone which had been affected by the war. They reasured the populouce of Occitania that they wouldn't annex them or make Iberia their overlords. They just wished for a more friendly France. Some young french men (Although not many) Would starts making squads of their own joining the Anglo Portuguese offensive.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

As the Caliphate forgoes capturing cities, he is forced to cross through the desert in order to get to the main highway in order to get to Hail.

 

As the Caliphate assaults Hail, Saudi Arabia positions itself in the mountainside around Hail. 100,000 Saudi Arabian units engage the bulk of the Caliphate's army. As it seems lost, 50,000 Saudi Arabian units are re-positioned from all around North Saudi Arabia. They flank the Caliphate, striking them on all sides as they attempt to cross into the mountainous region. This is an outstanding success for the Arabian units, and although casualties are suffered due to air units, intervention by the Royal Saudi Arabian Air Force minimizes impact somewhat. 

 

Saudi Arabia decimates the initial wave of invaders as they are forced to cross through desert and mountain terrain and regroups South of Hail, which centralizes Saudi Arabia's army. The flanking force regroups with the bulk of Saudi Arabia's army.

 

Regardless, Saudi Arabia is forced to retreat deeper into the mountains as Hail is lost. Before losing ground, Saudi Arabia rigs multiple oil refineries between Hail and Buraydah to blow once the Caliphate reaches them in order to damage morale and destroy some of the Caliphate's army. Saudi Arabia evacuates Hail and rigs numerous buildings to blow, which causes devastation on the roads heading South. 

 

Several divisions, roughly 30,000 spread out along roads. They destroy them to halter the Caliphate's advance toward Riyadah, as well as Egyptian intervention. 

 

The remainder of the Saudi Arabian army, roughly 50,000 troops, heads for the capital to restock, resupply and pick up reserve troops for the next battle. They do this under the pretense that the 30,000 units left behind will cause havoc on the roads and local refineries, hoping that it slows down or halts the Caliphate.

The 10,000 man division which was believed to have been halted by the Turks disperses. They spread out around Iraq and begin to hassle supply lines. If the Turks go through Iraq instead of Syria, Syria being the closest way to Saudi Arabia, Turkey will not be able to send as many reinforcements to Saudi Arabia (I sent those troops to Iraq, not Syria. Turkey would have to go far out of their way to get to them). 

 

Saudi Arabia's total troop count is roughly 100,000 now, down from 150,000. 

 

Meanwhile in the West, Egypt takes Medina and numerous smaller cities/towns. The American/Swedish/Irish/Saudi guerrilla band disperses and starts havoc on the southern roads leading toward Mecca. Mecca is now under heavy threat by the Egyptians.

 

Some of the Americans are re-positioned to the capital. They will train new soldiers.

Saudi Arabia is trading with the United States, Confederacy, Ireland, Swedish(Baltics) with oil.

 

Oil is raised to 200 dollars a barrel, roughly, due to Caliphate halting oil refineries in the oil rich north. 

 

Saudi Arabia prepares to trade oil with Greece if they accept.

Saudi Arabia begins a mandatory draft that will last roughly four years with the intention to repel the Caliphate, then disband the draft. (Mod please tell me accurate draft number and post for me)

 

Saudi Arabia taps into its reserve. 50,000 ground units begin to mobilize in Riyadh. 

 

30,000 units transfer from Riyadh to Mecca to rendezvous with the Americans, Swedish and Irish reinforcements. 

 

Saudi Arabia attempts to negotiate with Greece, asking them to aid Israel against the usurping Egyptians or hassle Turkey in exchange for oil supplies.

With the successful peaceful takeover of the Federal Republic of Macedonia into the Hellenic Republic the eyes of the Grecian people turned towards Albania. Swiftly were moves taken to integrate the Macedonian resources into the Greek industry. Programmes used in Greece are used universally and the Macedonian military forces are moved towards the Bulgarian front in an organised move. They are swiftly organised into defences with mechanised forces becoming concentrated within urban areas and Greek armaments quickly distributed. A new tank force is churned out and deployed at Struga. 

 

The navy stationed in Epirus is deployed entirely in the Adriatic and begins to deploy their primary forces on the Albanian coastline, in eye of the shore. In Komotoni reserves are moved from Thessalonica and begin mass training while the Macedonian forces are moved to Struga and the Greek back to Kastoria.

 

 

Production begins upon new military class drones within Athens, with experiments ongoing into unmanned flight capable of reconnaissance. Large portions of the defence budget are poured into this to achieve a swift result and the brightest minds of the country directed, new graduates from the leading universities are hired quickly.

 

In a similar move are armament factories ordered to make small changes to new tanks being produced, with different variations of tank treads employed to help ensure a variation within fighting forces. Repairs are undertaken in the small areas that were damaged within Bitola during the fighting that took place and mechanised divisions are quickly refuelled in the area.

Forces involved in the small skirmishes within Macedonia and mainland Greece are quickly redeployed in several areas close to Albania whilst the newly ordered Macedonian forces are pushed towards towns on the border with the Bulghars such as Kochani and Berovo.

At 0645 Army Group A sets off from Debar, following the SH6 straight through the nearby Albanian border and barrelling towards the city of Burrel. An ultimatum identical to the one delivered in Macedonia is presented to the Albanian government at 0650 and is backed up the Adriatic Fleet attempting to bombard the coastal town of Durres. Kastorian forces in Army Group B are ordered to advance towards the city of Korce and hold, forces then splitting off towards Pogradec and Berat in an attempt to contain the southern lands. 

 

While the mechanised units are ordered to advance further towards Tirana, the capital, and engage forces within the city in an attempt to cower the government into surrendering. The best Greek crack troops are dropped into civilian high areas within important cities to cause fear within the civilian populations, aiming to grab key communication and supply points before leaving and re-inserting at other points.

 

If either engagement begins to stall the forces located at Tetovo are ordered to move west and engage enemy forces halting progress within the Albanian countryside, the aim to create a 'blitzkrieg' move designed to instil fear and a surrender.

 

Aircraft forces are deployed to bomb any defences on the route of the mechanised forces along with any troops deploying around Tirana, hoping to clear the way for a lightning strike towards the capital.

Italy (sorry mobile post)

Casualties weren't very hard on Italy, the had gotten more ports and land from the invasion, taxes and trade boosting the economy. For awhile it would be time to sit and secure the new lands as well as allow the army time to regroup more strength. The government passes a bill to allow for a draft in times of war and work is done to create a stronger drone program. GREECE is added as an ally however they do not send aid for the war in Macedonia.

Confederate States of America

 

The land was stabilized, and the new army trained. Thanks to Japanese aid they were able to make their navy quicker and better. Augmenting the already existing navy the numbers reach a medium sized fleet. Their first order os business was to pick up CPNA forces along the coast. Puerto Rico had been accepted into the Confederacy as a state, and celebration was in the air. There were problems however, the new state loudly complained of Haiti and the Dominican Republic's fighting spilling over to their shores. In an attempt to keep the peace and protect their newest state, the navy and army would move into the quarrelsome island and secure it. No official declaration of war is made, the Confederate's merely stating they were coming to end the feuds once and for all.

 

They would start with Haiti, and the navy would move in. Sending drones and planes first, they would eliminate and forts guarding landing points all along the west coast. From there smaller ships accompanied by three frigates would move up. Shelling the countryside, they would create a distraction to move in the transports. Confederate marines would land on the beach with minimal resistance, and had air support. Moving in, they begin to capture smaller towns and villages. The main army of 15,000 landed behind them, and begin to spearhead into the island. They would try to encircle the capital and capture it in quick order. Not supposed to be a hard task, 15,000 men was an excess but a show of might. They would hope the Dominican Republic would surrender without a fight after they saw how quick Haiti was dismantled. The Navy stayed resupplied and near the fighting by using it's exclusive rights to Cuban military ports. ((mod needed))

 

Panama's government was toppled, and the Confederate's puppet faction in power. Their first order of business was to turn the rebel groups who had won into the new government army. Looting armories, and with help from the CSA, they begin to be armed like an actual army. The Panama canal was firmly in their control, and they allowed all nations to use it for a small tax. Their second act was to ask the Confederacy to admit them as a state. Arguing that it was better to be protected from the power in the west then a lone state with a revolutionary populace. The CSA graciously accepted the request, and Panama became their second newest state. They pledged to support military action against Costa Rica. Drug cartels were spilling over, and troubling the newest state. With the Panama State Militia, and 10,000 Confederates on their way from America, they would march north into the jungles. Using artillery and drones to clear the way ahead of them, it is expected that the Costa Ricans would rather surrender then fight. ((mod needed))

 

The North California Republic was crazy, but the Confederate's had chosen them as an ally and were to stay by it. No wishing to involve themselves into a third fight, they agree with the second option. Happy to have the NCR get rid of 50% of the Mexicans, it would make way for true Confederate's to settle. The support sent is limited to drones, airplanes, and artillery, the CSA not really wanting to involve itself too deeply for now. They send an advisory to their leader, asking for the NCR to stay out of central America. A large army of CPNA and State Militia alike begin to form in New Mexico, and a smaller but more mobile in Texas. It seemed they were gearing up for a full out offensive, they were getting ready to head into Mexico with the NCR.

 

In America itself the CPNA keeps training their troops not engaged in fighting. They would have to be able to work as a single disciplined group in order to have a chance fighting any big power. They receive an influx of tanks, as more factories are built to produce them. In order to keep morale high and give the large amount of troops possible the opportunity to fight, supply lines were established throughout the atlantic. Troops from America would move in to either Haiti/Dominican or Costa Rica to replace the men fighting there. Giving a large portion the ability to test themselves under fire and become veterans. Thanks to Westpoint acceptance and general good officering, the army was well led. Confederate generals were more then capable, and systematically beat down the smaller forces with a modern and superior army.

 

Brazil is asked for a defensive alliance and trade pact. Germany, and China are also sent offers of trade.
