The Russian Federation

 

 

It was a day of mourning for Russia. 30,000 brave Russians died for no reason. The entire government payed their respects in the new monument made in their honor in Moscow.  It all went so well, the war effort. The people cried in outrage against Germany, and they stood behind Putin in doing so. This catastrophe would change the Russian attitude forever.

 

Throughout the Federation, red roses were layed as a national prayer was held for all those who fell.

 

 

The Chancellor in London was now a primary target for the FSB. Who, as security for the Russian Delegation, was already stationed there. The Chancellor's drinks would be posioned with polonium-210 by the FSB, the Germans must pay.

 

The Russian Federation, with its industry renovated and production increased, starts increasing its army size. As the search for 200,000 more troops continue, the newest weaponry are mass produced. War was coming, it was now a fact.

Western Slav Confederation

-Republic of Poland, Czech Republic & Western Ukraine-

 

The Republic of Poland had joined together under a alliance with Czech Republic to strengthen economy and military might against those trying to take their freedom of independence throughout history trying to achieve, although Slovakia did not want any military alliance with the alliance, they do agree to trading.

 

President Tyminski arrived to Western Ukraine to have a successful arrangements with the President into forming this alliance, Poland's engineers and secret Police helped to ease the panic of Ukraine people. Poland was going to supply few power with Western Ukraine under they got their power grid fully working.

 

Republic of Poland, Czech Republic and Western Ukraine formed their alliance group so they may stand strong together and under a group.

 

Western Slav Confederation was born.

 

President Tyminski returns back to his homeland to listen to the pleases of the Republic and arrange some inner changes to yet to be announced or noticed.

 

The production of the 'Bee' drones to support the army of Poland's troops was to be shared with the alliance, blueprints and few produced 'Bee' drones were send to Czech Republic and Western Ukraine, so too they can produce these drones and improve them how they seem fit. The progression in making these anti-tank drones is very slowly, it been told it may take couple more years so the drone can be fast and deadly plus funding is less focused.

 

To ensure the economy continue, farms and factories were to be produced. All those that are homeless and young unemployed were offered to the jobs of farms and factories, factories into producing the 'Bee' drones and military equipment. They were given another option into serving their countries into joining the military proudly. This increased the military size by 10% so far as many are still unsure.

 

The Government of this alliance is that the three President leaders of their countries must agree if they were to take action which at the moment wishes to defend their borders from Northern big powers and accept allies.

 

To Germany, the combined alliance of Poland, Czech Republic and Western Ukraine accepts the alliance with Germany.

The Union States of America

 

The shock of the brutality of the Californian people devastated the American populace. The drones captured images of the extreme brutality of the Californians and how brainwashed these American had become. And now a new nation dared close itself off from the Union and dared to pretend to be sovereign when they had acted in such a way against departing troops. Hell, they weren't even a democracy or a "Republic". The General scratched his chin. Before he gave up his position to an elected President, he needed to stabilize the country... and this was not okay. Since deals with the Confederacy go extremely well - well beyond their expectation, the Union redirects its border troops to mobilize on the coast of the California Republic. They were not going to attack or invade. They, however, would besiege it. Cut off all of its trade with California, cut all maintenance to its levies, and declared that the Union did not recognize the independence of California as they had previously planned to do. The Naval Fleet in San Francisco, however, had left to go to the Pacific Islands, and were now stuck there until they had an active port on the West Coast. The American Navy in the Pacific turns its sights on California. A possible Naval attack may be necessary. The Californians didn't have the missile defense capabilities that the Unions and Confederates did and wouldn't be able to attack a force miles away. However, the General is hesitant to use violence to end violence, and instead asks the Confederacy and all foreign nations to put an embargo on the Republic of California, which was obviously an authoritarian regime.

 

General Patterson makes a speech on national television:

 

"... By God these Californians - once a peace loving bunch of Americans have now become barbaric. They say we impede on their liberty yet they attack our troops and hang them like animals. Neither the Confederacy or Union had ever commit such a gross action against their own kin. We hereby declare that the New California Republic is not recognized as a sovereign nation and is instead committing treason towards the Union States of America. If they want for us to open trade and negotiations with them, and consider them a nation, they must provide evidence of the people's approval of the government and the true democracy that every nation should have. We will not take military actions ... yet... to secure their allegiance and instead ask the people respectfully to lay down their arms. Liberty is prominent in the Western Hemisphere - more so than it ever has been before. If these people have the nerve to chew America out on its lack of liberty, they should look on at their government first and ask if they are really free."

 

30,000 Union soldiers stand ready on the border of the illegitimate Republic. They are well armed and well trained and they wait for further orders. The Confederacy is asked to send in coalition troops in case it is discovered that the Californians are unsatisfied with their new government and/or that it is an oppressive state that has brainwashed its people.

 

The CPNA troops in Alaska are met with embraces and alcohol. The Alaska State Militia cheers the military alliance and close relations with the Union and Confederacy and the evasion of a Civil War. They guard the Alaskan frontier from any threats and they train as well. Union politicians govern the land, however the state is very independent and the people enjoy as many liberties as elsewhere on the Continental United States.

 

The U.S Military scavenges everything it can find military-related and builds up its arms and weapons cache. American Corporations, saved by the Yankee Summit Close Alliance Treaty, help finance industry to make more weapons and employ American civilians. The United States Military Academy at WestPoint also starts accepting Confederate Americans as if they were U.S Citizens. The Common currency, open borders, trade, an avoided civil war, and an effective military alliance makes the rifts between the Confederates and Unionists begin to heal. Soon, they are all considered American, yet they operate in two sovereign nations.

 

The U.S asks Japan, India, and China for a trade agreement. It watches as small Japanese regiments enter American shored. U.S Navy sailors are taught to be wary. Naval ships are on constant patrol. American merchant ships send food rations, ammunition, and fuel to the French, being as discreet as possible. Not wanting anymore Russian Imperialism, they seek to aid the French in their defense.

Brazil has been prospering economically for the past decades, isolating themselves from the politics in Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America alike. The Brazilian government has slowly been changing over time from a Federal Republic. The government gave rise to the Partido Nacional Trabalhadores Brasileiros, or PNFB for short. ((Forgive any poor translations, I used translate because I don't speak Portuguese.)) With these ever changing times, the next president, Arnaldo Amara, decided that Brazil must not falter and fail in this era of change, but rather prosper. Arnaldo began to do many reforms and decisions, such as inspiring the Brazilian peoples to work hard and diligently, inserting a sense of nationalism into the minds of the populace. He had the government centralize more, persuading the populace that the idea of separate states forming one larger Federalist Republic would lead to disunity and selfishness. Arnaldo began to fix the issues in Brazil, not accepting or tolerating any forms of corruption, bribery, or deception, namely from other political parties besides the PNFB. The PNFB began to rise in popularity, winning the majority polls in the next election. Valentim Mata, the next president, continued the work of Arnaldo. The president took action, taking a series of reform to reduce deadlock within the government and nation. The Brazilian people finally fell under unity entirely, the idea of separate states falling as the country of Brazil became one large, unified state. Valentim ensured that the PNFB stayed in power by bringing up and attacking the flaws of their former democratic system of government, such as the misuse of public funds, rather opting to sway the masses to his side by enabling the poor and middle classes to rise to a high level of productivity, but making sure not to fall into the evils of Communism. After a few more years of leading Brazil to prosperity under the new government of the Brazilian National Authoritarian State. The Brazilian people prospered, and they will continue to do so in these new coming ages.

Valentim kept insisting, constantly trying to peacefully sway his neighboring countries to favor a unified South America, promising to lead those countries into a new age as he and his predecessor have done for Brazil. At the same time, he began to dedicate a fair portion of the economy to improving the military. Although Brazil is a local superpower when compared to its neighbors, Valentim did not want to risk any of his plans failing. Shortly after this action, Brazil sent diplomats to Germany, requesting an alliance, military training, and open technology research and sharing, to which they accepted. All the while as other countries dealt with their own affairs, Valentim prepared Brazil to unify South America under one flag.

Arnold hears about the USA's aggressive movement of troops towards his borders.

 

 

While the drums of war echoed across the vast forests and plains of Europe, the NCR prepared. In the past 4 months it had built an impressive wall around its borders. A wall with a twofold purpose. To keep everyone out, and to stop people from escaping. Guards patrolled it regularly and the never-sleeping eyes of a hundred cameras scoured the desert for any signs of life. For the wall cut through the Arizonian desert like a gash of steel. 

 

Meanwhile, some of the best scientists that could be gathered by the NCR scour through every military installation in its territory, retrieving and safely storing all valuable information in newly created vaults and bases. A portion of the pacific fleet has been appropriated by the NCR throughout the last months and 2 aircraft carriers along with a couple dozen assorted frigates, destroyers, submarines and other craft now dock and patrol the water surrounding the major cities.

 

The arduous process of recycling Las Vegas begins. In its place, the NCR begins to build large swaths of factories and other production facilities. Included among these are not only military production lines, but also civilian. Tractors, mining equipment and other agricultural machinery is produced en mass as most of the fertile land is turned into massive farms. While only portions of it are now in their production phase, it is estimated that the NCR will at least produce 80% of its necessary food in the next decade.

 

 

Meanwhile, schools are reworked entirely. Images of the glorious leader Arnold are plastered in every room and teachers who try to educate their children in any other way than what the newly issued manuals dictate quickly disspear. The Arnoldian Youth is formed a month after the creation of the state. Every child of five years old or more is required to attend two times three hours every week. If the parents attempt to keep them from these weekly meetings they suffer a cut in both their rations and salary. In the most grevious cases... The children are soon given to orphanages.

 

During these sessions, every child in the NCR is subjected to propaganda and indoctration. As they age, their physical program will become increasingly rigorous, so that if need be, all chilren are fit and capable of joining the army at the age of 16. Ready and willing to die for Arnold. Arnold's fifth wife bears him a son which he names Adolf.

 

In the northern reaches of the NCR, camps are created in which all those unfit according to government standards are sent for Treatment. All obese people as well as physically and mentally handicapped people are shipped off towards these camps and never seen again. Unbeknownst to all but the highest echelongs of the NCR goverment, tests are carried out on them. The project is labaled 'Terminator'. 

 

A new police is created in the third month since the creation of the state. The Shwarz Polizei. They regularly scan civilians and do their utmost best to track down dissidents and spies. Despite these strict regulations and the unbending law of the state, civilians are all given an adequate amount of food every week and any jobless or homeless person is instantly pressed into the army or factory.

 

During this, the government has issued many messages and letters to various states across the globe. Of those visible to the public there is only;

-To the CSA. The NCR offers are mutually beneficial trade agreement and a promise to defend each other in the case that the USA decide to attack one of them.

 

 

The NCR is a secretive state with solid borders, little filters in and little filters out of it.

The Peoples Republic

 

Diplomacy:

Emperor Mai Li calls the citizens of China together for an emergency speach meant to shine light on the countries most recent developments.

 

"My citizens. I have gathered you all here today to speak to all of you in earnest about what goes in our fair nation. I know I have many naysayers all across China, but one think I and this administration prides ourselves in is our governments transparent nature and utmost loyalty to the Empire of China. As many of you know, we have come to the aide of allies to the East, Japan. Their Emperor was shot in cold blood and their country was ripped apart by Congrestionalist rebels that had no goals other then to see their homeland burn and innocent families torn apart. I would like to announce a resounding sucesses in our peacekeeping operations. The enemy forces were completely crushed with only minimal losses on our side. Yet, despite such a tremendous victory, we will not let all those who passed fighting for their country pass without giving them the respect for which they deserve. We will have a war monument in our capital Beijing, with the names of all 25,000 soldiers that died that faithful day. Yet, I ask that while we mourn for the deaths of those brave men, we do not let it stop us in our ever searching quest for glory. That is all for today, long live China!"

 

The Empire of China accepts the alliance and trade agreement with the fair nation of Germany. A warning is set out to all would be aggressors on Germany. Doing so will incur the wrath of the full force of the Eastern Bloc, and such a thing should be avoided at all costs for the sake of your own country.

 

An ulimatum is sent to the nations comprising the Indochinese union.

 

"To all nations that make up the Indochinese Union. Stand down, and join the Empire of China, or face the full power of the Eastern Bloc. This will be your only warning before military action is declared. All nations that join the Empire of China will be given full qaurter, and all citizens of said nations will immedieatly become citizens of the Empire of China. Avoid much bloodshed and inevitable defeat by joining the Chinese Empire, and by that extent, the Eastern Bloc. The 100,000 PLA Infantry Men are fully trained and outfitted for combat. 1,000,000 PLA Infantry men are immedeatly moved to the Indochinese/Chinese border, along with the entirety of the PLA's Tanks, AFV's, and Artilery Units. The Peoples Liberation Army Air Force(PLAAF) scramble their fighters and prepare to run bombing operations all over the cities comprising the countries in the Indochinese Union. The Peoples Liberation Army Navy(PLAN) marshalls the entirety of their navy all around the coasts of the Indochinese Union. The PLAN would be ready for constant bombing raids and bombardment of the various coastal cities that make up the Indochinese Union. Indochinese Union

"The Indochinese Union will fight until the last drop of peasant blood."
 

Thus was the response of the Supreme Leader of the Union from the capital of Hanoi. 

Indochinese troops took up defensive positions along the border, and long unused routes and jungle bunkers were revitalized from service during the Vietnam War with the United States. Although they were being met with unbreakable force, the Indochinese would ensure that their guerilla tactics would be effective against the Chinese invaders.

Additionally, an offensive is launched immediately. It is one of shock and awe, as an American might call it. Quick aerial sorties are carried out on advancing Chinese lines, while the most valiant of Indochinese men attack the front line of Chinese invaders. This force numbers roughly 65,000 strong with 340 Armored support of varying degrees of strength. Air support is modest, and naval support is virtually non-existent.

Another bold move on the part of the Indochinese are submarine sorties on the Chinese naval blockade. The submarines leave port, descend to extremely low levels, then rise behind the blockade and attack. All the while they drop mines where they can to encircle the Chinese fleet. Even the war on the seas has become a guerrilla war.

Meanwhile, the main fighting force of the Indochinese, the Viet Cong, number close to a million men. They are scattered throughout a network of tunnels and bunkers that line the Indochinese jungles, making the terrain a death trap for the invading army. The Viet Cong would fight with any means necessary in order to defend their nation, just as they had nearly 70 years ago.

Meanwhile, in Brazil, the diplomatic envoys are largely accepted, and the Brazilian diplomats begin to court the leading members of the South American nations. Some are more responsive than others, with Peru being the most responsive to Brazilian negotiations.

The Russian Federation

 

Russia decided to take on a change in policy.  After several diplomatic blunders in France, they had to step up their game. Alliance or not, Russia must and will be victorious. With this idea, the Federation had its first military parade in years. Broadcasted to most televisions in the world.

 

 

The entire Russian military was now 'active'. After the parade, the borders became heavily patrolled and fortified. Artillery and missiles ready to be launched at any potential incoming force. The most recent census of the military gave some comforting numbers:

The surplus obtained through almost a decade of Economic prosperity is spend on Military renovations. Soldiers are hired and prepared. Constructions fortified and national necessities protected. Volunteers are enlisted to the Russian army as well, state propaganda being on all time high with doomsaying slogans like "Where will /you/ be when they invade." "The Spirit of the Patriotic war has not left us!"

 

 

Appearences on Television increase,  and the idea of a common enemy is indoctrinated into the heads of the Russian people. Russia's paw will remain unwavering Putin would say, and the Russians believed it. The fact that his administration killed 70,000 French soldiers with merely 30,000 Russian recruits caused pride and confidence from the people into the government. The Propaganda machine started to spin. The President had one message to the French Republic

 

 

"The people of the Russian Federation are saddened to see how our once prideful partners decided to give up their sovereignity to the nation that has tried to undermine it since the formation of Prussia.  Several months ago, we joined the war effort to ensure that after a victory the French nation would be preserved. France witnessed the foundation of many states, but I fear this Republic will be the final one to be significant in the history books.

 

The peace signed by your government is simply discriminating towards every proud French citizen. We here in Russia would rather die than to lose our homeland. The French, shouldn't be different in that. We hope that in the upcoming elections in the French Republic, the right political figurehead will be elected.  We fear that we may witness the collapse of multiple states like yours in Europe, and who do not wish for a pattern to be established. The struggles did not go unheard, people of the French Republic. The Russian people are with you."

 

 

With the Gazprom initiative for an alternative fuel failing, as it is simply impossible, Russia ceases to export its oil to its Asian and Baltic partners. Creating a reserve as more ecological standards are put on vehicles. Agricultural expansions in the barren east seem succesful. As a policy that was planned to be enacted in 2020, the Putin regime wanted to see investors creating mass farms for the booming Russian population.

 

Brazil is asked to reconsider its alignment as the Slavic Confederation is proposed the following: Cut ties with the Nazi Bloc to gain guaranteed independence and support from the Russian Federation, including Free Trade. The Peoples Republic

Upon hearing the announcement from the Indochinese Union, the Chinese military immedeatly leaps into actions. Over a thousand planes charge out from the Chinese Aircraft Carriers, and a force of 250,000 Peoples Liberation Army Marines land on the beaches of the Indochinese Union, accompanied with 2,500 AFV's, 1,000 Tanks, and 1,000 Artilery Units moved from the front line. They would immedeatly march for Ho Chi Minh City. Meanwhile, the main forces of the PLA would continue to advance against the charge of the 65,000 Indonesian men. The majority of their losses would result in Tanks and AFV's. The final losses incurred by the advancing Chinese forces would be,

The remaining forces march towards the capital city of Hanaoi, albeit still experiencing minor losses from the hit and run tactics of the remaining 65,000 men. They are ordered to ignore the primairy of the guerilla forces, and head straight towards the capital.

 

Several offers are sent to India and Japan, asking for their allies to aid them economically in this time of crises. The Chinese economy is set to full war time mode, and a new system of rations are put into place to conserve food.

Mod - Israel

The nation of Israel has stood idly by allowing the Islamists to expand without recourse. The time had come to step up and stop the Islamic aggression. The Israelis would launch their largest offensive to date, through Lebanon and into the Syrian region of the Caliphate. They declare war on the Caliphate and their alliances, and do so on the side of the Saudis in their way, pledging support by forcing the Caliph to a two-front war.

Troops are stationed along the Egyptian border, but the hope is that they will not get involved. The Israeli air force, widely renowned for being one of the best in the world, does battle with the Turks for air supremacy over the region.

Meanwhile, conscription begins in mass to help the war effort as the Syrian Offensive begins. Tanks roll across the border into Lebanon, crushing most of the resistance in the country which had no affiliation with the Caliphate, it just happened to be in the way. Another force moves through the Syrian occupied Golan Heights to help relieve the force marching through Lebanon.

The Union States of America

 

General Patterson is satisfied in knowing the Californians are closed off from International support. All trade requests offered to the Union are accepted. A bustling economic was key in turning the Union into a global power once again. With the alliance of their kin - the Confederate States of America, the Union invites it into the North American Coalition, or the NAC. This way they could merge military forces to act on a global scale and promote worldwide peace and democracy.

 

The United States Pacific Navy, docked in the Port of Seattle, begins patrolling Pacific Waters, wary of Japan's recent movements. There were strange reports from loyal American Polynesians that stated the Japanese were trying to ally them and lead a potential rebellion in the U.S Pacific Islands. One named Arthur Umuwawe said they wanted to be citizens, but didn't trust the Japanese and knew of their atrocities committed in World War Two. The people were conflicted. The Union officially starts an investigation on these reports. As a precautionary measure, an additional 30,000 U.S Sailors report to the Pacific. Troubled by China's expansionist policies, and the reports of the Japanese, the fleet stays strong. They are undoubtedly the Union's most powerful force and awe-inspiring. The U.S.S Nimitz and seven other Carriers are docked in Hawaii. Hundreds of planes and over a five hundred thousand troops guard the Pacific. They were a strategic blessing and gave the U.S the ability to ward off an invasion or deploy into Asia.

 

China is sent a non-aggression pact. The Americans cancel all previous offers to the Japanese. They worry of invasion and prepare accordingly.

 

On the mainland, General Patterson's approval rating is at nearly 96%. Since the Union is now growing economically and stabilizing, and a civil war was avoided, yet the two sides both got they wanted, he is effectively elected as a democratic leader. He follows the Union Constitution strictly and no liberties are infringed upon.

 

The Union finishes the training, armament, and conscription of over a million men, including those in the reserves. The Union military personnel numbers at around 1,500,000 - 500,000 of which are stationed in the Pacific. More and more are trained and the military grows in size - the primary Union budget goes to defense and infrastructure.

 

General Patterson also sends a missive to the Islamic Caliphate. Although there is nothing mentioned, it is a political game to show them that the General responsible for their near-destruction, before they were a powerful force, was now President of the United States.

In the capital, an old man lets out his last sigh. King Murqin has died of old age, his health finally taking him at the ripe age of 93. Operation Snakehead:

 

 100,000 Saudi Arabian troops move from the capital and key forts to occupy positions in the mountains. Troops all over the South, including the ones on Egypt's target list. They are equipped with weapons purchased from the United States that never used (See below). They head north toward Hail.

Phone-explosives are placed on major roads heading South, its design to slow down the advance. 

 

Troops garrisoned near the border are collected, organized and distributed into several divisions. Chief of these are the bulk of soldiers positioned in Arar, who would have been moving to follow the ground units before Turkey sent in air.

 

In Arar, a garrison is left as well as pre-built anti-air turrets in preparation for the inevitable Islamic Caliphate invasion. The Saudi Arabian air force continues to engage the Turks. This will not hold out for long, but the majority of the Caliphate's ground units are south by now. 

 

A division moves up through Hafir and into Iraq. They head in deep, penetrating Iraq's bossom to disrupt supply lines, chiefly food and water which will desperately be needed in Saudi Arabia's hot climate. 

 

The foreign aid, which amounts to a single division, is broken into numerous squads and dispersed throughout South-West Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabian soldiers are mixed in with them, and this ragtag army begins planting bombs and harassing the roads on Egypt's advance. They are given anti-vehicle weaponry, hand launchers and phone bombs. Their goal is to delay Egypt as much as possible by messing up roads and causing fear and panic, not to destroy the Egyptian army which would be impossible. The majority of the garrisons in the South, including Mecca, are sent North toward Hail.

Overview:

 

Roughly 10,000 ground units head for Iraq.

 

50,000 units defending the border are respositioned. They head South, following the Caliphate.

 

5,000 units remain in Arar to occupy it. Another 10,000 remain dispersed throughout the border to meet reinforcements and stall them.

 

100,000 units are taken from all over the South to meet the bulk of the ground army in the mountains. 

 

10,000-15,000 units begin stalling and harassing the Egyptians as they move for cities.

 

The terrain shifts to a more mountainous one, which makes tanks difficult to more around if the Islamic Caliphate commits.

 

315 M–1A2 Abrams, 290 AMX–30, and 450 M60A3 main battle tanks are dispersed among all divisions. 

 

400 outdated Combat Aircraft engage the Turkish Air Force. 

 

 

Economic Decisions:

 

Saudi Arabia is still receiving food and water from multiple foreign entities in southern Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Arabia navy, which includes anti-air, protects these shipments.

The Islamic State of Turkey

 

While things grew heated on the war front at home the wheels of manufactures were turning. The government had begun to pour money into heavy manufactures to begin the mass production of military equipment such as weapons, uniforms, and vehicles. These materials would hastily be taken off the assembly line and forwarded to the Islamic Caliphate to aid in their great jihad against the infidels. Also as requested by the Caliphate, Turkey halted their harsh punishments of residential infidels and instead began the Sharia Law which allowed them to impose a heavy tax on those who did not follow the teachings of Islam.

 

As a response to Greece deciding to reinforce northern border heavily without public explanation additional troops and weaponry are shifted to meet eyes with the Greek forces consisting of the three main branches of the military. A handful of reserved fighter and bomber squadrons are also shifted to the more northern air fields along with armored and artillery detachments.

 

Even with the border covered, the Turkish High Command saw the need to show absolute superiority over the Aegean sea as it would be key in the future should the Greeks foolishly attempt to open a second from upon the glorious Islamic Caliphate. Over the years Turkey had been successful in modernizing and advancing its naval power. The MILGEM project was a prime example of the potential Turkey held to flex its blue-water naval power. It had been massively successful in developing and producing the first littoral-class ships for the Turkish navy which allowed them to wrest control over the Aegean sea using lightning tactics to outmaneuver and overwhelm the enemy while at the same time utilizing frigates, corvettes, and smaller crafts to deal the heavier damage to oppossing fleets  and bring down any enemy aircraft should they have not already been doomed by the Turkish Airforce. After finalizing plans and having the approval of the President, multiple task-forces of the Turkish Navy begin routine patrols along the bordering waters of Greece while Marine divisions remained on standby in the ports, ready to deploy engage on a moment's notice. Even the Turkish Aircraft Carrier Atatürk was among the naval vessels prepared for the inevitable should tension continue to arise.

 

 

Meanwhile in terms of foreign affairs Turkey held its sight on the state of Europe. No indications were made of any intentions to enter the conflict.
