A Message To All Humans

A scrawled note is found pinned around the cities of Felsen, Adria, and Malinor, written in the florid but exacting penmanship of a well-read mali’ame.

For too long have the mali’ame been under foot and iron of the great-foe. It is the duty of any good child of Malin to take back the rightful sovereignty of the elven people. There are too many dirty valah who wear the sun’s smile but sneer the burning sun’s heat upon our good mali while they look away.

We huntsmen will not let this curse upon our race pass. No longer will any man or woman spit upon our blood. We will take back what is ours. We will not fight as an army, but as the common people do in the streets, taverns, and roads of this dastardly realm.

First was the Queen, whose scheming ways exhibit the worst of the Orenian people. Next was the Prince, whose pomp and pleasures rest upon the weary shoulders of the good mali’ame. Soon countryside will be drenched in royal blood.

For our forests,

For our country,

For the mali’ame people.

Blood for Malin.

Arik Vanir shakes his head in utter, absolute disgust.

"It is the duty of the enlightened Orenian man to aid our elven brothers. Were it not for our intervention, they would still today feel the lash of the silver city, and be forced to such dramatic action as to even curb their own civil population. Any who would seek to upset the cooperation and prosperity found between human and elf is, without a shadow of a doubt, an utterly repulsive and mentally deranged creature."

He then goes off to hang out with his good chum, Franz.

"Just a buncha terrorists." The fat dark elven banker says with a frown.

Dorian chuckles to himself.

"Haha.. How cute. Elves thinking they can fight.. They don't even know how to leave the tavern, let alone form a military."

Britannus would frown at the poster, remembering the assassination.

"Say, isn't that 'Knight' named Org part of this group?"

Publius would set down the note, almost disregarding it.

"They fail to see the protection we have granted, and the peace we've brought all races of Elf by keeping them under a watchful eye. It's disgusting to have this about; this will do little more than see themselves executed, and, worse yet, instigate a completely unneeded martial law declaration. Why can't these people just enjoy the peace they have now?"

He would approach a window, frowning deeply.

"Let's hope they heed the lesson's we have strove hard to teach; do not bite the hand that feeds you, especially when it's made of iron."

"Hrm.." a seemingly concerned utterance comes from Drake as he swipes one of the notes in the Felsen square. Looking around him cautiously, he reads it with an unsettled look on his face.

"Not natural warriors, yet their agility and precision would be excellent for this type of guerilla fighting." he mutters to himself before departing north.

"Aspects give me patience..." Artimec mutters quietly upon seeing this notice. He snatches it up and crumples it in his hands and lets out a quiet sigh.

Soon after, a response is drafted and pinned to all trees and noticeboards in the city of Laureh'lin.

"I know not what young mali'ame have decided to take upon themselves such a foolish task. But, you have much to learn of the world if you believe that your ways are remotely beneficial to your people. As you are likely blinded by the arrogance of youth, I will afford all those part of this group of 'huntsmen' a chance to reveal themselves and cease their ways.

Failure to do so will result in your kind being hunted down in the lands of your own people, as well as of the humans. I would suggest you comply."

A. Camoryn, Chancellor of Laureh'lin

Ramza looks to the handwriting. "I don't think that's Art,Tristin or the other guys handwriting." He he pulls away and shrugs. "Doesn't seem like the elves to me.. How troublesome..Oren has been so kind to us, I wonder what bored sap is trying to start a war now within this peaceful way." Shaking his head walking away. "What awful colors.. Not even ours.."

"Oh, are they getting the druids to tie my ankles with ROOTS?! Oh no..." Samuel shivers, proceeding to then ready a gruesome and adorned seax knife, giving it a faint twirl.

Ac'Aelu Tinuvial, Chancellor of Laurehlin sighs. "A movement that claims support but has none that I've seen. With claims aa ridiculous as these, it's a shame the author wasn't mindless enough to leave a name."

"Perhaps it is time to shackle the forests with martial law. If there are cultists or insurgents among the mali'ame, who knows how high up it goes. They have never been known to keep their political situation stable so it makes sense that some of them are forming rebellious groups. The city is already walled... An easy area to sector off and monitor" Iat says, looking at a large aerial view map. There are chess-like pieces around it, mainly at the major capitals and landmark locations. "Intriguing..."

"Stop trying to stir ****. Do these ignorant fools not realize how much protection Oren gives us?" he'd grumble, dusting off his leather clad hands before leaning back against his fletchery station, taking a few moments to look over the array of newly made bows before getting back to work.
