Upon Eldritch Winds

Cheza trembles as the vision and pain that accompanied it slowly pass. At first she focuses on her own heavy panting but slowly other sounds and sensations come back to her. The feeling of dirt against her skin. Small hands pulling at her arms. Crying.

She'd collapsed from the vision while playing in the garden with her two youngest children. Sitting up slowly she tries to comfort them.

"It's okay, mother's head is just a lil sick is all. Nothing to worry about." The whole incident gets dismissed as a bout of madness until she speaks to another mage.

Alder begins to pull himself up after his collapse; he brings up with him the scroll which he transcribed the odd symbols. He begins to contemplate there complexity and delve deep into his vast knowledge of language to figure out if they mean anything at all.

Mark would be sitting at a desk scribbling about on a large rolled out paper as he is often found doing. His eyes glowed an eerie greenish blue as lines were carefully constructed. However, in the middle of doing so, a harsh pain suddenly began to throb in his head. He would flinch as the line he was drawing suddenly juts upwards by reflex which ruined whatever he was working on, and his eyes ceased their glowing. That would be the least of his concerns, however, as the aching in his head only grew worse. It was not soon before long that he held his head with both hands, gently rocking back and forth. The colors, symbols, and imagery slowly began to meander into his head. With every throb of pain, they would be shown clearly to him. After a moment, He would take the quill and flip the paper over before going to etch out the symbols, color codes, and order therein of what he was seeing. After doing this he would stumble up out of his chair with a clatter. He'd step over to a nearby bed and fall onto it before curling up somewhat and soon falling unconscious...

Kalina lay in a bed in the clinic of Laureh'lin, resting. In her sleep she feels a dull pain in her head as the symbols and whatever else enter her mind and haunt her very dreams. She does not wake up, though. Her dreams continued to show her these symbols as she tossed about. Eventually, she would wake up with a mild headache, the ordeal being over, before getting up to go ask someone what they thought of it.

Allona begins to twitch, a small pain growing in the back of her head. Attempting to ignore it, she soon looses concentration as the pain becomes more and more unbearable. Falling in the snow, she begins to scream as a thumping in her head overtakes her senses, an imagine burning in her mind, flashing across her vision.

Upon completion of cracking the arcane scribings a proper codex will be produced to document the language in the occurrence of more messagings being delivered by this phenomenon.

Upon their realization, the mages Ac'aelu, Crumena, Elene and Kelthran, called a meeting amongs themselves within the Silver Walls of Haelun'or.

They flocked about the sigils, examining them from every angle, before Kelthran pointed out the longer words bearing less possibilities. They slaved away, crafting the figurative rosetta stone of the puzzle. Ac'aelu and Kelthran agreed on a single word - foolishness. It was given to Crumena and Elene, so that they might apply it further. As Crumena arranged the code upon parchment; Ac'aelu, Elene and Kelthran worked to decipher the meanings of the symbols. In the final hours of agrivation one word laid incomplete. It was an epiphany in which the former Arch-Mage Crumena rose from his seat. Inserting the final character into the cypher. Eventually, thanks to their combined efforts, the solution was found.

And thus began the seventh cycle

As was before that which is his sunlight returned

The many made from nothing once more

They were to be as before yet became unyielding of their  fate

The many did stumble and force that which repeats into the unknown

The wheel bent and misshapen it was not as was

They had sent forth the few and one was to prevail

Through the sea of souls the  few voyaged

The instruments of the cycles clutched tightly in heart and mind

It was here the path diverged for it was not to hit its mark

They and their foolishness threw the wheel from its axle

The cycles past their guidance turns to splinters

((AAHAHAHHA WE DID IT))

Can we delete the salt posts? Except Lima's because I know he'll throw a fit if we do. It hurts us that you're both accusing us of cheating, and trying to steal the glory after we worked for hours upon hours on this project. It was difficult, and anyone who tried and got far at all should be congratulated!))

((It's to no offense at all I say that the so called "rosetta stone" "foolishness" was indeed stolen from the Oathcast chat and said member who helped you came from there and gave it to you. I am sure it was not your intention that this was to happen and it doesn't really bother me. It's however still a fact that it happened the person in question already confirmed this to be the case and in your post the character that gave you the word is that person.

In the end does it really matter? If you really want to go all down and kicking over some random text I personaly had a fun time deciphering then be my guest. I could send in a screenshot or whatever of my document and you yours to Jistuma and then they can see the time stamps /OR/ both parties could simply agree this was fun and that we both finished it at the same time. This would make it so that everyone is happy and we can be the good ol' decipheringbusters of Vailor.

-With loving regards Julius <3))
